Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities
Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.

Corralejo itself seems to be an up and coming town in Fuerteventura. There is a lot of development going on both in respect of new apartments, shopping complexes, and other stuff.
There are a lot of British/Irish themed pubs which give you the usual karaoke/live music/pints of heavy/Full English fry up.
The best one we found was within the main part of Corralejo which was called 7 pints. They had a hypnotist show, plenty of big screens, nice staff and plenty of space.
There are a few beaches in and around Corralejo. The main one is a bit outside the town, between the edge of the town and the Riu hotel. I get the feeling that is locals and residents of the Riu that use that one as it is so far out.
There are 3 others from the harbour down to the edge of the town. The main one is at Calle de Red, the street with Underground, Talk of the Town and Penny Lane pubs on it.
Corralejo also has a market, situated at the Baku park. The market runs on Fridays and Mondays from 9am to 1pm. As usual you can haggle with the locals/Africans who are selling their line of fake Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags, sunglasses, jewellery, etc etc and save yourself a few Euros.
There are also many excursions to do in Corralejo. There is a snorkelling safari (Get Wet is the company) who charge 35 euro for hire of wetsuit, shoes, fins, snorkel and mask for 3 hours. They also pick you up at your apartment/hotel and get you on the small boat over to Lobos Island where you get instructed on how to use the snorkel and then you have a good couple of hours swimming around amongst the tropical fish. It was great value and would recommend it to anyone except those with kids under 10.
There are the usual "booze cruise" type boat excursions and day trips to Lanzarote (15 mins ferry) and lots, lots more to do. There are leaflets everywhere and they have all the contacts needed.
Corralejo is not Faliraki or Ibiza and the clubbing/18-30 scene is non existent. It is great for young couples and families or those looking to get away and relax.

As we were not far from the main strip we had a few walks down there, great if you like looking in shops for souveniers as there are plenty of them, great choice of bars/restaurants (Tony Romanos) has great food reasonably priced for the amount you get. As none of us are sand lovers we only paid one visit to the beach but thought it was lovely and not overcrowded, pay a visit to Waikiki for something to eat we had a lovely meal there and as its on the beach you have a lovely view while you eat. All in all a fantastic holiday and would all definately pay another visit to Corralejo staying at the Oasis Dunas.

Resort is very nice, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to nose around, lots of restaurants and good food, My fav beach is Olivia beach, fantastic blue clear water and white sand.

The Oliva beach resort is about 10mins taxi from Corralejo. In town not much but jewellery shops, gift shops, restaurants and bars. Old harbour where our friends went sea fishing from.

We stayed last year in a hotel near to this hotel, so we knew the walk into town would be further than where we stayed last time. It took us with children walking about 10-15 min walk into the main strip of the centre, which on a cool summer evening ,we enjoyed. Some evenings we would get a taxi back which would cost us about 3 euros.
The restaurants we ate were really nice. We preferred the ones near the harbour, especially the ones near the little square, where they have entertainment most evenings inculding jugglers etc, which kept the children entertained. On average for four of us including a litre of sangria, beer, starters and main meals we paid around 70 euros, which we felt for the quality of the food we were eating was excellent.
We visited the waterpark, again we read reviews of it being a rip off etc but we didn't feel it was and had a really good day there.
There is a supermarket next to the hotel, which we felt was really expensive,so we just got a few bits from there. We went to the Hyperdino for our food shopping, which was so much cheaper. It cost about 3-4 euros in a taxi to get to it.
The beach near the hotel was ok,but there were no beds left to use when we got there at 11am and it seemed really small. The beach we really liked was next to the Rui hotel about 10 minutes away from the hotel. You can get a bus there, but when we worked it out it was cheaper in a taxi. There were loads of beds available and it was clean and crystal blue water, also if its your thing there is a nudest beach further up!
Overall, no complaints with the resort and over the road from the hotel there is a small theme parks with trampolines etc and a bowling alley. We really enjoyed our stay.

great resort - the market at the water part every fri and mon is great, and not too expensive either. the waterpark is a fun day out and defo worth a visit! everything there is quite pricey tho, but i suppose that is to expected. didnt have a chance to go on the beaches much, but they looked really nice.
as for eating, i would defo reccomend gibsons - great food for every taste, and great for vegetarians.
there is plenty to do in corralejo, and were going back in a month - can't wait!

i have been to corelejo before and loved the place so was really glad were were sent there.
we don't really do a lot of night clubbing when we are away but we do eat out a lot in good restaurants.
We ate at a steak house called poca loca a fair few times and the food and hospitality is second to none!
of all the canaries I have to say this is my favourite island as i prefer laid back slow paced holidays.
if you want a club 18 - 30 experience then book one somewhere else and leave this island as it is, very peaceful, very chilled out and very unspoilt and spanish!!!

i found the resort very nice, even though mu 18 year old son thought the nite life was very limited. definately a young family resort. more laid back than any other holiday i have been on. beaches were beautiful even though they were a bit rocky! would highly reccommend the Taj Mahal Restauraunt to eat. my husband has eaten quite a few currys in his lifetime and he said it was the best curry he has ever tasted. will definately miss eating there! my sons first curry and what a place to start! its all down hill from now!you will have to go there!!!
