we found the montecarlo to be very clean,the staff very friendly and helpfull,the apartment was probably the best we have stayed in,we would certainly recommend it and will certainly stay there again.

The Monte Carlo is situated on the flat of peurto rico so no nasty hills to climb up and stagger down!!
The monte carlo is acroos from the main shopping centre wherer all the bars are so stay up all night and have a good drink so u drop off to sleep the minute you get in yoru pit
The apartments are 2 level and basic the only gripe we had was when we arrived the reception was shut and they left a message saying our ley was left in the door of our apartment only when we go to the apartment there was no key!!! Apparently what had happened was a young child had sensibly goven the key to the Pool Bar Manager who passed it on to the night shift porter so we had to wait for about 45 mins not the best start to the holiday.
One thing you should note is that for cooking yoru one step up for a campsite with just 2 hot rings and very limited utensils we were amazed that there was no kettle or toaster so it would be wise to buy a cheapo one in the UK and leave it when u leave.
The higher kettles out for 8 euros a week and the same for toasters.
The bathroom had a lovely big shower which made a lovely change and the water stayed in the cubicle.
The reception is open twice a day and shuts at 1900hrs which means if you hire a safery box you have to get to it before reception opens to get your cash out.
The pool is in my opinion to small for the amount of residents the bungalows can hold and it becomes a bit of a war to get a sunbed we had two sunbeds an left them for 2 mins to get a can of drik from our rooms and when we got back the beds had been moved and our towels hanging over a wall, so best to have someone stand guard.
The pool bar is run by a top fella (with a great line in magic tricks which the kids loved, I tried to get him to make my wife disappear but I guess eevn magicians have there limitations!) who has a great cook and the food is priced very cheaply as are the drinks.
The rooms are cleaned on a regualr basis and the staff do an excellent job.
