Breakfast consisted of everything it could scrambled eggs , fried eggs , bacon , sausages , tomatoes , beans continental toast juices etc etc
Lunch and evening meals were sometimes repeated but we didnt mind because we liked them.twice a week we had a chef carving a joint of lamb or pork (lovely crackling).
There was a choice of 6 hot dishes every meal time and around 4 different salad some nights with smoked salmon.soup every mealtime as well which was good.
Our rooms were very very clean with no insects in site unusual for the canarys we thought as we have been to tenerife and grand canaria and usually see cock roaches and ants
The hotel has one of the best locations and when we were there we could see the queen mary in the harbour.the cruise ships sailed straight past the punta jabillo when we were having a drink looking out over the ocean.
The hotel staff were extremly helpful and julian and sandra the entertainment team were great people.
hose the barman known as the halifax man (as he looks like the man on tele) made our holiday he was always at work and working hard but it was never too much trouble to have a laugh WE WOULD DEFINATLY RETURN AGAIN happy sister happy xmas happy hour happy holiday as jose the barman would say.
by the way if you are going mention guys family to sandra or julian you may get a secial cocktail

We arrived at the hotel and were soon given our hotel Room keys, after getting to our rooms we were very impressed, clean, no insects, plenty of towels and a great sea and pool view.
Meals were very good too, plenty of variety, we looked faward to meal times, although you could always get food by the pool all day long.
When it was time to return to our rooms, you could always go to sleep with no noise of music etc as found in other hotels.
We were there for my brothers 40th (gewie)the entertainers sandra and Julian were great, as for Jose said as Hosay what can i say he was the best, as we were there for easter he even wished us HAPPY SISTER.
As for the BINGO nights, we would say have a laugh and try it,we did and won 300 pounds between us, although Tina was our bingo queen.

What can i say we have just had the best holiday at the punta jablillo.
The rooms were huge with a fully equiped kitchen including a full size fridge. Kettles can be hired from reception along with everything else you can think of including playstation and games but nothing was needed.
Tea and coffee were available any time of day from 8am.
There was even insect spray available under the sink but we didnt need it.
Plenty of room in the bedroom and a safty deposit box in wardrobe you can hire the key from reception.
Food really good bar-b-q once a week roast meats carved while you wait twice a week. There were muscles and smoked salmon pilchards available while we were there and pasta dishes chips every meal time as well as a variety of mashed potatoe crocettes saute potatoes you name it i think we had it.
The hotel next door the teguise playa is posh and a 4 star hotel but i bet they payed double what we payed and anyone who moans about the punta jablillo should remember this.
We had just as good a view of the sea as they did if not better as they have a fence around the pool so no one can sea in or out. When we laid by the pool we could look right out to sea.
The entertainment was simple but good again you get what you pay for.
Things we would never do in england we did there but isnt that what holidays are all about. After a few drinks we got so we were even injoying the kiddies disco and watching julian do his broken wing impression of the birdie song OH and i must not forget the choo choo song (clap clap)
hose(halifax man)made our holiday he should get a well earned pay rise for being waiter , barman and all round entertainer(happy hour)
The pool was BL..DY freezing so only went in to cool off and cool off we did excellent for children in the shallow end.
When we saw the plastic white sunbeds we thought oh no our backs but for 1.20 euros you could hire a lovely thick sunbed cushion from reception (brilliant) they came in handy when it rained as weather not to good when we were there.
Needed jumper in the evenings and sometimes when the wind got up around the pool.
The bar in the evenings is small we just got in there early to get a seat never was there people standing about though.
in main reception there is a pool table the children liked this.
All staff really friendly everywhere they seem to do every job on a rota basis.
Well done to julian and sandra our entertainment team.
sorry julian for throwing you in on our last morning
from gewys (guys) big family

I too had a great holiday at Punta Jabillio, great choice of food, clean rooms, pool was cleaned every morning.
Yes i too found the pool a bit chilly i only went in to cool off which is what Julian must have been doing on our last day too.
As for gewie's lot you were all great fun, when gewie won the mr Punta Jabillio, the way you took all your clothes off was very entertaining, the man who dressed as a woman well he was different he ripped my jacket sleeve.
I hope the gentleman that fell over in front of stage was ok,we found that funny as well i think he was only trying to take a photo of gewie.
What i cannot understand is how you all always got to sit on that settee, you must have all bolted your meals down to get there.

Before we went on this holiday we read the reviews on the net and was gonna cancel we are so glad we didnt, we had a great time.
We did eat out twice as we wanted to try the chinese food down the road, but the hotel food was tasty and cooked well there was a different choice every night, but they did start to repeat some things during the end of the week. Snacks are hot dogs one day and burgers the next, though they may have more options during the summer.
The location of the hotel is perfect, the entertainment is great if you have younger children aged 2-11 as it is very child and family orientated, otherwise there is a karoke family pub at the end of the road called saxos where we tended to go every night. Would definatly visit again. Dont expect 4 star luxury but expect 3 star.
