Found the hotel grounds to be quite pleasing and quite well maintained except for the snack bar the tables were not cleaned regularly and the floor was filthy.
The restaurant was quite nice and spacious the drinks were a limted and a waiter service would have been quite nice. The food was quite typical for all inclusive ( we have been on many) it was quite repetitive and on occasions bland however the standard and choice offered on the first week was far superior to that of the second week we were diasappointed.
The entertaiment for adults was dreadful however the mini disco and the entertainment did appeal to my children such as a parrot show. The entertainment team did try and their was plenty to do however it was more tailored to those who are fans of "eurovision". The choice of drinks was limited this was the first all inc place were you could not purchase named brands at the bar if you didnt like the local stuff which was lethal with the measures they pour.
For the money we paid it was a good holiday and was very family orientated which made it alot easier but for couples I wouldnt recommend these apartments.

Its true that the apartments are on an incline but we were quite lucky with apt 307 which is in the middle. Short walk up to the pool (largest of three) and pool bar - free drinks all day (usual suspects) - snacks inc. chicken (dubious) nuggets, chips, burgers (v. nice late night snack!) and toasties. Pool table there also.
The reception was about same distance in the other direction along with entertainment room/bar. Reasonable priced shop. Games room & telephones (use phone outside apts on right as much cheaper). The evening entertainment consisted of parrot shows, magic shows, comedy shows (bless the entertainers!), karaoke, blues bros etc. They are good for the kids (about 7-8) but the rest was awful!!! We just made use of the free bar and headed into the Old Town about 9.30pm!! They also provide entertainment in the day - archery, pool competitions, shooting etc and present awards in the evenings. We played a couple of games of tennis (just

The pools were good. Average temperature for pools. Nice to go in when the sun was at it hottest. The food in the hotel was very poor. No choice in your food. Once you got that meal one day you knew it would be the same in a couple of days time. Food not always cooked fully like the breakfast. e.g Sausages and bacon only cooked on one side.
The location of the hotel was in the old town which meant it was a good 40 minute walk to the main part of Puerto Del Carmen.
Last of all, the entertainment was disgraceful. All of it was in Spanish when the vast amount of people were English. Some of the shows were so bad people left in disgust. Also when bingo was played it would take at least half and hour to play one game as they would read the numbers out in Spanish, German and English that was if they could say the numbers.
The bar staff and reception were very pleasant and reliable.

One of our appartments had water running down the wall on arrival although we were moved immediately.
The prices in the shop varied day to day. The snack bar was a bit of a hike from the toddler pool and was always visited by dirty looking cats which sat on tables and went into the kitchens. No snacks available one day and no soft drinks another.
The security guard was like Hitler. He wouldn't let the kids play with balls in the pool. The poolside was dirty. There was a melted ice cream on the wall for the duration of our visit, which was cut short and we asked to be moved.
The food was awful and we only visited the restaraunt a couple of times. Other guests were always on hand to advise you on the best places to eat.
The staff were okay. The rooms themselves were kept clean. The beach and shops were down a fairly steep hill. Great going out, tiring on way back.

The choice of food seems to deteriate near the end of the week but is still very good quality. We have never suffered from any stomach problems at all. The hotel provide a picnic service which you can order the day before.
The entertainment was not so good but children's entertainers friendly cheerful and kind.
They also have slopes which give access to disabled people to every area of the complex.
Lovely weather all year round. What more could you ask for.

This time however we had problems with ants in the apartments and the litter problem due to a binman strike.
The apartments were well cleaned and plenty of fresh towels left. They could do with a few less cats running around the complex.
The food was ok and suited most of the family although they sometimes served the same meal 3-4 days running. If anyone was hungry there was plenty of snacks at the poolside bars so no one went hungry.
Most of the staff were very friendly and always keen to help.
The entertainment was good especially the aminated staff whom my youngest daughter thought were the best. They made children feel involved in all activities.
I could safely say that we will be going back again in the future.

Arrived tea-time and that was the only night we dinned there. The rest of the holiday was going to all the restaurants and bars just so we could have some decent food to eat.
Location of the hotel was out of the way, not suited for people with walking difficulties.
Entertainment staff were spot on with the kids. Entertainment at the night time was sometimes a great laugh, rest of the time it was just ok.

The dining room is air conditioned and is open from 8.00 til 10.30 for breakfast 1.00 until 3.00pm for lunch and 6.30 until 9.00 for dinner. The meals are fine and you should be able to find something to eat most times but I would suggest taking extra cash for a few meals out as it does become very boring with many dishes repeated day after day (i.e. pasta bolognaise).
The apartments are in the old town right at the top of a hill, but it is a fairly pleasant walk as there is always a good cooling breeze blowing. The harbour area of the old town is nice with lots of good restaurants and pubs (irish & scottish mainly.) The walk to the new town is OK where there are literally hundreds of restaurants & pubs and a huge clean and safe beach. The Purple Turtle pub near to the apartments serves food all day which is reasonably priced and very good. They also have nightly entertainment which was always excellent when we were in (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays) in pariticular.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and work extremely hard. The maids come in 5 days a week and towels are changed 3 times (they leave loads of towels at each change). The entertainment was OK on the 2 times I visited the evening bar. The kids all seemed to love it but my two are a bit older and it wasn't quite their thing. There are loads of children and teenagers of all nationalities at these apts and my kids made many good friends while they were there.
I would consider going to the Green Oasis again and probably the only thing putting me off would be the repetitive food and the alcohol in plastic cups which my hubby couldn't stand!!
If you are thinking of booking - I'd say GO AHEAD YOU'LL HAVE A GOOD TIME HERE.
