This is a very impressive hotel with high standards of facilities and accommodation. There are quite a few steps but lifts make all areas accessible as we had a pushchair and never had to wait for a lift.

The location is not in playa las Americas it is in the Costa Adeje area around the Playa Fanabe district.

There was always an excellent choice of freshly cooked food with the chef cooking steaks, meats as you wait, he will also fry eggs in the morning when asked. No need to queue for tables just wait to be seated at all meal times by extremely pleasant staff who always make appoint of talking to you and ensuring that all is good especially with the children.

The day time entertainment includes all activities throughout the day for all ages with very professional evening shows being staged. Yes drinks are more expensive than outside bars but to get the entertainment is worth the extra.

We had room 226 and 227 overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and spacious, do not use heated appliances or other electrical in rooms as the hotel does not allow, hairdriers are supplied.

BE AWARE there is a new drainage system being constructed at the side of the hotel with a huge amount of noise in the daytime when you sit around the pool area this starts at 9.30 till 5pm diggers and earth moving equipment constructing 20ft drainage. We were never told that this would be going on for what looked like 3-4 months.

Only stayed three nights but were generally impressed with overall look and feel of hotel. No problems with staff who were all pleasant and helpful.

Food in restaurant was fine. Always lots to choose from and looked fresh. Chef cooking at least two items on the spot each day.

Actually located in Costa Adeje, nearest beach being Playa Torviscas which was very nice with some nice beach bars. Medium walk along front to Playa de Las Americas. Outside hotel was very quiet at night, but our room noisy during the day as it overlooked a roundabout. However if patio doors were shut you couldn't hear it. Lovely views of nearby mountains though.

Didn't see any daytime entertainment (apart from one game of water polo) as we spent most of the time out of the hotel, but I don't think there was much going on as there were very few children. It was a little cold for the pools even though one was heated. They did look nice though.

The evening entertainment was OK but we've seen better in 3* hotels. Maybe it was the time of year? We saw a couple of good acts, but didn't enjoy the bingo much!

Overall bit too quiet for us really.

We have just arrived back from a weeks stay at the Bahia Princess Hotel. We stayed on a half board basis through Thomson platinum and we can honestly say that it has been fantastic!! The hotel is very clean, staff very polite, food is very good (had a Canarian theme night one night - lovely, never many queues for food at the buffet). The pools are lovely and clean, great amount of sunbeds and umbrellas available although towels were on loungers as early as 7.30am but still you could get a sunbed no problem. The entertainment seemed ok we only went a couple of times. We had a pool view room and it was very spacious and clean, although we did have to pay for the fridge and safety deposit box. I would say go for a high level sea view room if you can get one.
All in all an excellent hotel in an excellent location close to everything without been in the thick of it. Taxis are very easy to find if you would like to venture further.
We are now thinking of booking up next year but this time for two weeks as one wasnt long enough. Would say to everyone go to the Bahia Princess its brilliant.

The hotel was always clean, location was excellant as a lot of hotels near the beach seemed to get a lot of noise from surronding bars. However in the middle of the day it is hard to walk up the hill but its worth it to step into a cool clean hotel with friendly staff, yes there is a lot of steps but there are lifts for those who are either disabled or our to lazy to walk up the steps and although situated on a busy road the rooms are not as noisey as soom people might think.
For the entertainment we didn't really see much of it so can't really rate it.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and am certainly considering visiting again.

The hotel was very clean and friendly. We went in early July so the restaurant was quite empty so there wasnt any queing. Food quality was excellent and always cooked just nice (nothing burned or undercooked). Must admit though there was always the same on the menu for dinner except on a Thursday night. Wasnt much of a childrens menu so wouldnt recommend taking children there. The location was not bad, its on a main road but its not noisy once the balcony door is shut, it is on top of a hill though so be prepared to walk. The staff were very friendly and spoke English fine. Couldnt help you enough which was excellent. The entertainment was poor and we decided to go elsewhere for that. Also the Honolulu Bar (main entertainment bar) is very dull and not inviting at all. The pools are excellent and maintained perfectly. There are lots of sun-loungers but you have to be early to get one by the pool and umberellas are few and far between. Entertainment around the pool in the day was good and fun. There is also lots of places to just relax in this hotel whether it be in the sun or the shade. Would always recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tenerife!

The Bahia Princess was just an excellant hotel everything about it was fabulous, anyone thinking about going to this hotel must go. The food was extreamly good with something for everyone and different every day. The location is up a bit of a hill so it would have been better situated on the beach but was only 5 mins walk from the beach. The staff are great too. The evening entertainment was great, whilst we were there we enjoyed a magic show, a parrot show, dancing, singing and many more.

The hotel staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble for them and all they wanted to do was to make sure that we had a fantastic time.
The hotel was extremely clean, the food was good and the waiters were very attentive.
We had a slight problem with the TV - 5 minutes after mentioning it at reception, an engineer was in our room and repaired it.
Entertainment was poor (unless you like watching men dressing up as women and miming to records !) - but there was lots to do within a five minute walk so it didn't bother us.
Think its the only hotel which we have stayed at where there were more sunbeds than towells ! - no problem in getting a sunbed.
About the hotel - what more can we say apart from its a four star hotel with a five star attitude !
Would definatly recommed it

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks with Thomson Platinum.

Hotel was very clean, staff friendly, food was good but it was repeated with lots of rice and Pasta. The restaurant was always hot. They did not seam to turn on the air conditioning in there. Long trousers are required like most hotels so it becomes uncomfortable. We booked 10 months in advance and cost nearly

Bahia Princess in Costa Adeje Tenerife - I stayed at this hotel in June 2004 with my husband and son (age 16) and found plenty to do both in hotel and surrounding area for all three of us. Plenty of entertainment during day eg games in the pool and various other games. Food was excellent and plenty of it. I would return to this hotel and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in comfort in tenerife. Some people complain about the amount of stairs at the hotel but there is plenty of lifts about and you do not have to wait all day for them. A Most enjoyable holiday all round.

Just arrived home from 2 weeks in the Bahia Princess and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Yes there are a lot of steps but they must be the most photographed and dramatic steps I've ever seen.

Food was excellent and on our first night there was a "tribute band" of the Drifters - they were fantastic. Perhaps all the entertainment didn't suit everyone but the standard of entertainment was high - apart from one night!!!????

I don't like lying at the side of a swimming pool but the amount of areas you could lie at this hotel was unbelievable - you could lie beside them (there is 3 adult pools and one child's pool) or as far away from them as you want. They also have lovely comfy seats outside under roofing that you can sit in and read in the comfort of some shade.

If you are thinking about this hotel then definitely go - and its noisy at all. The little road noise there was disappeared when the balcony door was shut.

Loved it, loved it all!!!
