Have just returned from Bahia Princess, spent a week there after cruise. If you are disabled or find it difficult walking this hotel is NOT for you. There are so many steps everywhere. From the hotel entrance to reception up steps, from entrance down to bar about 20 steps, from bar down to restaurant and bar/entertainment/swimming pool FIFTY TWO steps. There is a lift you can take, instead of the 52 steps, but you still have to go down 20 steps to bar, then another 5 steps, walk a few minutes outside to reach the lift to take you to lower level for restaurant, pool etc.

Bedrooms are large and very well furnished, we had a super sea view room, with large balcony, but some of the rooms are badly situated, with lots of road noise or others in one block where no sun will shine all day.
Ask for a sea view room on upper floor, ours was superb.

The staff were very helpful, we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary whilst we were there, and they really did make it very special. Gave us a special table for dinner, decorated beautifully, a bottle of champagne, a special meal (they asked us for our favourite dishes)and prepared them, and were charming when serving and looked after us all evening. The biggest surprise was no extra charge for our meal! We were amazed, not many hotels would offer all that extra for FREE!

Entertainment very poor, looked in one evening and they had a parrot show!!

We had lovely sunny days, but if you were there and it rained, there is no way to get to restaurant under cover, although I did notice many umbrellas behind reception.....obvious why they were there for guests!

The hotel is very clean and the staff were very helpful, although I would have thought more of them would have had a better grasp of English.

I know Tenerife only (supposedly) gets 15 days rain per year, but we just happened to have 3 of them !!! To get to the dining room from the hotel, you have to walk down 52 steps outside. Bearing in mind this is a Platinum hotel, there are lots of elderly people visiting. The steps are dangerous and you get absolutely soaked ! The Honolulu bar was also down the steps hence, getting drenched once again if you want to take advantage of the children's Mini Disco at 8pm each night !

Excellent.

The steps add to the beauty of the hotel. The brochures clearly show a lot of steps. There are lifts for the less mobile. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished. The staff are very well trained and courteous. The location was splendid. The only fault was that no travel irons are allowed in the rooms and you were severely reprimanded if one was found in your room. (used or not).
