Too much rubbish and building debris all over the place.
Only entertainment in resturants and few bars. Unsafe coastal footpath if elderly or have little ones in tow.
Rreally need to hire a car to escape to the mountains unless you are a golfer or can lie like a sardine in a tin on a lounger by the pool all day. Not for me.

We travelled to los cristianos for the beach only because the Sunday market was on a must for bargain hunters at least 100 stalls with all your designer goodies (all genuine!) the beach there was spotless not to crowded with loads of restaurants to choose from we liked the beach so much we went back again. The water park at Las Americas was great the dolphin show was amazing all in with entrance fee slides for all ages, brave and not so brave! The pools at the apartments consisted of 2 heated & 1 large unheated I would go back to Green Park again although would book direct as its loads cheaper £100 per week cant get a caravan in Rhyl for that. If it's sun and rest you want this is the place remember it's a holiday enjoy!

The resort is undergoing much development. Not much to do other than golf.

The actual resort is still being built and the original road layout has been changed. It is a one way system around the resort and the directions of the road have changed but unfortunately the road markings are still visible. Therefore you must be prepared to meet another car coming in the wrong direction or indeed you may follow the direction of the arrows and find you are going the wrong way. There is no sandy beach.

The resort was probably great for Golfers with a couple of really nice courses. For everyone else, the resort would probably be best classed as quiet. Theres a bunch of shops and the usual english bars but I found the food and drink prices a bit of a rip-off and the service here poor.
Theres no beach - only shingle - but its a nice and reasonably easy walk over to the small fishing village of Los Abrigos where there are also a small number of bars and restraunts. Alternatively you can take a right turn from the hotel and walk along to promenade to other hotels and bars.

Excellent region, peaceful but quite popular. No British Bulldog brigade as you get in Las Americas. nice to mix with other Europeans.

This is the 3rd time that we've stayed in Golf Del Sur.
Many people have said that its only for the over 50s or for bowlers or golfers. Well I said this to the teenagers that we met in Golf del sur this holiday and they were horrified,(and We're certainly not any of these!)
Its a really nice resort with most things that you need for a holiday. Its quite a new resort so there is a bit of building work going on.
I think most of the people that really like this area would hope that it never ends up being another Las Americas or Los Christianos, because it would be completely spoilt.
The walk along the beach to Los Abrigos is lovely. And for those people that say it dosent have a beach they must walk around with their eyes shut.
It may not be white sand but it is there and is very well used(and very beautiful!)
We are already booking to go back again next year.

Two golf courses dominate this resort (Amarilla and Golf de Sur) a nice walk along the seafront but the resort is very quiet. A new marina and road networks tend to suggest quite a lot of capital investment taking place.

Went to the San Blas centre, good area to have a drink found McGuires bar where anything goes, so if you are gay, the landlord puts out, his wife also oblige's should you require extra service.. Get down there.. Everyone has.
