Chipeque - quite small rooms all set around a small pool. Fairly clean but gets hot at night. Good breakfasts if you don't want to walk far the rest of the menu is mainly snacks. Beer awful!
lots of building going on so we were woken up by the cranes, quite loud entertainment from noon until midnight - kids like the day time stuff though.As it's quite compact it was difficult to sleep as every noise echoed - people still up at 3am most nights. On the plus side no problem with coachroaches on the 1st floor appartments. Didn't get much rest so won't be going back their!
used a lot of taxi's to come back up the "hill" and to get to the beach only 2 - 3 euros though.

After reading the bad reveiws on this complex i was very worried about what i would find. i visited the complex in july, the weather was beautiful and i honestly cannot see what people were moaning about. The phrases "exactly what it says on the tin" and "you get what you pay for" come to mind. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the pool was cleaned every morning along with the surrounding sunbathing area. There was plenty of sunbeds but at busy times we struggled to get four at the same time.
It is a bit of a hike from the front but when a taxi is only a couple of euros theres no need to walk. I admit we always ate away from the complex so i cannot really comment on the food aspect.
The hotels entertainment wasnt up to much although a few fun and games go on during the day and there is only some action on some of the nights.
The receptionists and cleaners were very friendly and the rep tried to help as much as she could.
To sum up the chipeque apartments. it is a nice compact complex with the only problems being the occasional visit by cockroaches [what do you expect in a foreign country] and the lack of entertainment, but again with the cost and easy access to taxis there is no need to stay in the complex. there is a taxi rank across the road from the entrance. i would visit here again and dont listen to the totally negative reveiws.

we went as a group of 7 lads, we had 2 rooms and they were both spot on. we had read some bad reviews before we left, though none of them turned out to be true. the rooms for 4 people were big enough, we had no problems for space, and most the time all 7 of us were in there and we were fine. the rooms were cleaned every other day, even if we were in there at the time, and beds changed and clean towels provided. the entertainment was a bit basic, bingo, quiz night etc, but enjoyable, happy hour was good for cheap drinks to. there were plenty of places to eat localy, good value, and good quality to.getting about was easy with a taxi rank across the road there was no problem getting into playa, or to the beach. i would recomend this place to anyone looking to have an enjoyable holiday, because thats what you'll get.

We had two rooms one on the second floor and another on the lowest floor. We had no problems with the room on the second floor, but the lowest floor room was dark and not very spacious. Also the room was full of cockroaches, noy very good with young children around, about 2 or 3 everyday, we had to plug up sink holes with tissue! The staff were all friendly but the entertainment wasn't that good bingo and karaoke. The pool table was always busy because they never opened up both, so there wasn't much for children to do at night.It was a bit of a trek to the beach because the one closest '800m' away was just rocks no sand. Make sure you don't break anything else you loose your 30 euro deposit!!

We booked these apartments because basically they were cheap! We were expecting to be only 800m from the beach, this was a bit misleading, knowing Tenerife very well i wasnt even sure we were still in Los cristianos it was so far away from the centre of resort. It was good we had a car. We only ate once or twice in the complex, and it was fine, not great but edible. For a basic complex we were impressed with the amount of cleaning that was carried out by the room maids, they were great. We were on the ground floor overlooking the green garden area toward the main road, we never saw a single cockroach for the whole week. However, we werent sure about the area as a whole, as my friends helmet got stolen from his locked box on the moped outside the apartment, and at night i would not have liked to have walked back from town. Due to the location this would not be my first choice for a holiday, however, for value for money and cleanliness it was great.

I booked this over the internet, so was a bit worried if it was going to be ok. Well it was just want we wanted. The kitchen equipment was ample for what we needed, the bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage, more than we needed!The room was cleaned 5 times while we were there and the bedding changed twice. The staff were always helpful, entertainment was a no go and so was the restaurant but all in all we would defo go back. we didn't mind the walk back up the hill after a good supper, it helped!!Oh and by the way, not one cockroach in sight.

We first visited here in November 2002 and found it great, a bit of a pull up the hill but otherwise ok. Consequently we went back the following August, the first week was part of the school holidays and there were children running round screaming and playing football till one or two in the morning. In the end I complained to the rep. and it did quieten a bit. The second week the children were back at school so there was no noise after midnight. We are going back this year late September-early October. The man on reception is meant to act as security but did nothing. If you don't want a lot of noise in the early hours go out of school holidays !!

I came here for my 21st b'day it was very clean the rooms was alway cleaned.
It wasn't noisy at all when we decided to stay in.
The breakfast were great to and cheap never saw one cockroach in two weeks.
A great reception plenty of seats to relax dont beleive all the bad reveiws you read.
