Hi everyone!! We enjoyed staying here vey much.

Eating out is no problem at all as there are loads of bars and restaurants the minute you step outside the hotel.It is very reasonable and there is a wide variety for everyone.

The hotel itself was clean, but our room was not up to standard as it was only properly cleaned once in the two weeks we were there. Maids left towels and bedding for me to change! Which I did not do. Hotel reps dealt with this. Also,if you are sleeping they do not even empty a bin and left us with no toilet paper!

The pool is clean enough,but it could do with having regular checks during the day as there are sweet papers etc floating around!

Staff at reception were easy to get on with and spoke good English.

Security at night were also nice.

The pool bar staff were not so helpful, nor was the chef.

Location is great as there are enough bars in the surrounding area,so you do not have to go to Veronicas every night. Plus,it is a lot cheaper!!

Entertainment in the hotel was ok. Did not stay for a lot of the shows though as they finished as we were going out. If you like the song "yo hi yo hi a"(dont know proper name)you will love it as that is all they play!!! hahaha. Just wait and see!!

The only thing that I suggest is that you hire a fan at the first opportunity, as we had to buy one! They have one fan to every room, but some people hire 2 or 3 which means we could not get one. I did a deal with the rep though, as I was not sleeping for the heat and could not stand it anymore. I managed to get some of my money back, so really it was just like hiring one. We passed it on though when we left as it had a foreign plug on it.

Apartment was a reasonable size, but there was no lifts to ours, no joke trailing heavy cases.

My holiday was ruined by Mandy the entertainer. She played water football in the shallow end of the pool which meant no one else could use it. The heavy ball kept hitting anyone near the poolside, so relaxing was not possible! I told her to keep the ball in the pool and not to hit me (several of our party wear glassses and didn't want them broke by a foootball) She was very rude and got the kids to jeer at me until I left the poolside, in my distress I slipped and broke my arm in 3 places spending time in the local hospital.

The inflatables were never recovered and we never felt safe enough to venture back to the poolside. The rest of the staff were lovely.

most of the staff were nice. We didnt get alot of help from reception though and could be quite rude.
the reps didnt help much either.
I felt this hotel was very noisy in every way and staff cleared away poolside furniture at 4.30 even though pool was opened until 20.00.
Food was ok but pretty basic.

Hi All, OK, we have just got back from Laguna I, and have the following report.

Overall, OK, however a few things to point out.

Hotel Cleanliness - Had to phone to request toilet rolls, and the towels got changed twice in the two weeks we were there! Maids had no urgency to remedy these issues. One day we filled our rubbish bin in the room, and left two plastic bottles by the side of the bin. They emptied the bin and left the bottles!

Location - Very good, however a lot of hills. You may have to fork out a lot of money on taxi's?

Staff - Generlally good, but spoilt by a few "older" staff who are quite abrupt and aggressive? I read previously about issues with the receptionists, I had no such issues, and they seemed to bend over backwards to get us what we were asking for?

Entertainment - Something on every evening, but it is a small room, and the volume of the music would suit the Albert Hall rather than Laguna I?

There are plenty of sun beds but you do have to be up in the morning by 08:15ish to get a good spot, even though the beds to not get unlocked until about 08:45. Keep an eye out for where the water polo goals are, as when the children start playing, you will get no peace if you are behind the goals!

Everything needs to be rented. The TV, Kettle lead!!, Toaster, Beach Umbrellas, Bed mats, and the safe for you room. It will cost you 35 Euros and you get 5 of them back "Gee Thanks"!

Mandy is good for the kids entertainment in the day, and Edward is good for the adults. They will run activities like Killer Darts, Killer Pool and Water Polo. Dont read much into the name Edward, he is about 6 foot 7 inches and built like a brick out-house!! He takes part in everything and is VERY competitive :)

Not bad prices on the drinks in the complex, and the food made by the pool bar is very good for the price, but again, the chef(s) are older and quite grumpy.

Beware of the taxi drivers in the resort, ask them the cost of the ride before you get in to the taxi.... This has to be the biggest con on the island!

All I want to say is that this apartment is booming ! It's so good there me and my mate are going back this year hopefully. We're trying get the same apartments I pray we do because this place is amazing.

It's location is excellent and the staff were so nice, they were funny as well. It's so good everyone I love it there so much!!!

The pool area is excellent everything about it is excellent for all ages!

The hotel irs self was very clean there was maids in every day just about apart from sundays they change towels and bed lining every second day and cleaned the apartment nearly every day. The pool was really nice apart from the water being salt water which hurt your eyes abit when swimming in. The food offered at the hotel was fairly cheap fast and really nice. The staff were very friendly and if you hada problem you just phoned down stairs and within 20 minutes someone was at your room to fix the problems such as tv rental etc.
The entertainment within the hotel wasnt to bad there was always something on at night and during the day there was pool, water polo and darts competitions. over all id give the hotel 9/10

i was there for a week along with my mum,dad,two sisters, and two friends i enjoyed it as a whole, the hotel was clean, the maids were consistant and the food and bar was great. the hotel was central and made getting to places easy enough, it was an ideal location. the pool itself was a relatively good size, it was salt water but that wasnt a big deal.
the hotel staff were friendly, and helpful and kept on top of things. the entertainment was great not just at the hotel but in the local pubs to, such as the irish rovers , there were two scots who performed,they were amazing on the guitar and singing requests.at the hotel there was kareokee, football etc nearly on every night, and it was just a great atmosphere. i would stay again, i loved it!!!

The location of the hotel was ideal, in order to see the majority of the resort, without too much hassle. Shops and local amenities were within easy reach, which was very important with travelling with a young child.

We did feel, however, that the self catering facilities were maybe in need of some updating and were very basic. The pool area did not feel very child friendly with regards safety.

The staff were very attentative and friendly and this in most ways made up for the other disappointing aspects of the apartment.

The staff in the hotel were so friendly, and the location was excellent for bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Another couple of good points was the information point outside of the hotel and the internet access room next door at the supermarket.

The reps were excellent, especially the rep who told us about the supermarket downstairs in San Eugenio, we wouldn't have known it was there if it wasn't for that rep.

We didn't spend much time in the hotel for entertainment, but who needs that when there are a lot of bars nearby.

I stayed in these apts along with my mam, dad and boyfriend and could not fault the room as my mam and dad have visited for the last few years and the rooms are always up to standards of cleanliness with the bed linen and towel change every 3 days we stayed their for 2 weeks. The waterpark is viewable from a short walk from these apts. The nearest beach and supermarket is a 5 minute walk. The hotel staff are very friendly and they have various entertainment on a nightime. The pool is clean and have games on daily for parents and children to join in. I would defenitley visit this hotel again. There were 11 of us who stayed there in 4 different rooms with not one fault.
