This resort is very small but lots to do.
We visited Garrucha a spanish town on the bus nearby. Vera has a water park takes about 25 mins on bus and pueblo mojacar on the hill lovely views and very authentic of a night.
We went on a little train for the children which took you along the coast 7km.Along the beaches are parks which cater for the under 10s needs for a short while.
This is not a resort for people who like Benidorm or agaluf etc but for people who like a laid back approach to their holiday with a Spanish feel.

The only reason I wouldn't visit this resort again is that I believe the world is too big to go to the same place twice.
If you like sight seeing there is not a lot to visit nearby. We attempted to drive to the national park but it was about an hour away and one of the children was sick in the car so we gave up. However if you enjoy a resort based holiday it was fine.

Fantastic little "resort" with loads of character. Some reviews on here say it is boring! However, if you do your research beforehand you will know whether or not it is for you! Benidorm etc it is not (thankfully) but it has just enough commercialism and a traditional style to make for a lovely holiday. The beaches are great (good wave action) and there are plenty of eateries to choose from. Mojacar Pueblo is also stunning. Word of warning though. If constant whistle blasts and petty rules annoy you avoid the run down water park at Vera! I need say no more.
All in all a lovely little understated resort for those who don't want a constant noise and party for the duration of their holiday. Boring it is not! Create your own adventure.

The resort of mojacar is very quiet and spacious compared to other spanish resorts. There is a beautiful promenade the runs the full length of the Playa. The beaches are not crowded and there is a lovely little bay right across the road from the Indalo Hotel.
Buses run up and down the Playa daily at the cost of 1 Euro. I would say the Indalo end of the resort is definitley the best situated with little shops and cafes close at hand.
A must is a trip up to Mojacar Village about 15 mins bus ride. Beware this takes a route up a steep widing narrow road but well worth it. The views are outstanding and the village itself is amazing little white sugar cubed houses
with little cobble stoned streets. I would definitely recommend mojacar for families and people wanting a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle.

The resort was clean but it wouldnt be hard to keep it clean cos there was nothing in it. We travelled with two young children so werent looking for a "thumping nightlife" holiday but it was really boring.
a short walk down the street from the apts and you got a chinese, steak house, souvenir shop. Walked on another couple of hundred yards a chinese, steakhouse & souvenir shop.
Beach wasnt the best we have been at but certainly wasnt the worst either. Watch out for the jellyfish!.
Alot of mosquitos in the resort so when buying repellent make sure you get one that has the ingredient DEET as this works. Boots do a bottle of repellent and blatantly advertise across the front of the bottle "contains 50% DEET".

The area of Mojacar is quiet most of the year round. There are bars and places to eat but not many that play loud music. I didn't see any nightclubs there. A good place for couples and families who don't want late nights.

We have been going to this resort for a good few years now and have seen many changes, the entertainment stays the same, maybe a few changes would be welcome.
The resort is still fairly quiet and we love it.
Everytime I suggest to the kids that we try somewhere new they shout" no we want to go back to Pueblo " need I say more?

Mojacar Playa is a very spread out resort with lots of bars and places to eat, many run by English people. A lot of the bars and shops seemed to be a bit run down, but apparently when we stayed in June, their summer season hadn't quite kicked off. Beaches were adequate for sunbathing although the sea was sometimes too rough for a good swim. I would advise anyone to book car hire before they go to Mojacar as there are lots of nicer quieter beaches inaccessible by public transport. Overall though, we had a very relaxing two week holiday

The beach was very stoney but very comfortable chairs. Not much going on in the resort but it could easily be sorted by hopping on a bus or going to the pueblo indalo. Not much after midnight though.

I would visit again, but would request an apartment lower down and would again only spend a week here as it would get boring if it was for any longer.
The Wild West night at Mini Hollywood was an excellent excursion, but avoid the market as it is very boring and quite small.
