Mojacar is pleasant resort, with a handful of bars and various themes of restaurants.
The only downfall about the place is the high amount a english ex-pats who live in the area who seem to think that they own the place and have no respect for the short staying holidaymakers.

Lovely, quiet, family resort. Some nice restaurants along the front, but if you are looking for an action packed holiday you better go else-where. Not much in the way of resort entertainment, but in fairness, entertainment tends to focus around the Hotels, which you would expect in a resort like Mojacar.
Nice beach and a very clean, well looked after promenade with plenty of children's playgrounds along the way.
All in all a fantasic place to come for a quiet, family holiday. Go there - you'll love it.

Mojacar is a quite resort with plenty of bars and resturants, we found is was mostly couples that were staying at the resort. The beach is long and clean and on a couple of occasions dolphins were seen from our hotel balcony swimming near to the shore, Would I go there again? the answer to that is yes.

Stayed in Mojacer, it was very clean, not much to do. There are lots of play areas along the playa for kiddies , including, trampolines , slides, etc.
Beaches are lovely, Water was crystal clear. There can be a bit of under-current at times and the water gets deep a few feet in, but it was the nicest I have ever swam in.
I would definately go back to this resort again, But would stay in a B+B or a Hostal, there are plenty there to choose from.
Be sure to visit Mojacer Pueblo on the yellow bus, You can get on it from either end of Mojacer, it runs every half hour for 90 cent you can see the most spectacular views.

Mojacar itself would be a resort I would visit again.
It has miles of beach which is very rugged and does not get over crowded. Some parts of the beach could do with being cleaned up.
If you are looking for nightlife this is the not resort for you but if you are looking for peace and quiet and lots of walking then this is the place for you.
Having said all this I have been to many parts of Spain and Mojacar has a lot of catching up to do.

Pretty quiet resort at the end of Sept & very spread out. A few English pubs if you like home comforts. We tried Sands, the food & service was excellent, Jolly Lemon was good too. We also tried a couple of the Spanish restaurants & had to try out our limited Spanish, but we got by. The majority of restaurants offer kiddies menus, nuggetts, sausage, burger & chips etc. A few chinese restaurants too. Not tacky at all still quite charming. Beach is great sand & shingle, very safe. Sea clear & clean. The beds & mattresses where 8 euros for 2 for the day, so quite reasonable. A lot of people had bought little beach chairs from the local 'B&Q'. If you go to the beach each day this would save you a bit of money.
Everything around resort is quite reasonably priced. Try the indalo train 'el tren' for 4 euros you get a hours ride along coast road, best done at beginning of holiday so you can get a feel for the place & pick out some restaurants/bars etc. Everyone waves at you when you're on the train.
There was a bit of building work going on, mainly aprtment blocks. But this didn't spoil our fun. To be honest they where the quietest building sites I had ever some across.

The resort was very clean, just the ordinary litter bugs but everywhere has them! The entertainment and nightlife was brilliant. There was one club that I really enjoyed but unfortunately only discovered it on my last night there. If I had found it beforehand, I would have been there more. I didn't spend much time on the beach but while I was there, it was enjoyable. I am definitely going back again!

There wasn't much to do but the Beachcomer is the place to go for a decent and cheap meal out it's about 10-15 minutes from the Puerto marina and is right by the beach so you get a great view whilst enjoying a great meal.
The beach is definitely a place to go for a day out and there are a few umbrellas for shade just a little way down the beach and cleanliness is fairly good.
So enjoy yourself if your going!!! Because you won't want to come back I certainly didn't!!!
