This was my third visit to the hotel and again it was as enjoyable as subsequent visits. The rooms were spotlessly clean and daily maid service was excellent, clean towels daily and thoroughly clean. The staff particularly the staff in the restaurant were lovely, and worked really hard. We were led to a clean table at every meal. The food was excellent, always lots of choice both hot and cold at each meal. The drinks were good and the All Inclusive deal was excellent value foe money.

The entertainment was "same old" I feel that it is time for a change, Pepe in the piano Bar has been there years, the shows including the two comedians are old hat now. This would be my only criticism. The hotel is lovely, well managed and a great place for a holiday in Benidorm.

this is our second visit to flamingo oasis. hotel is spotless, always being cleaned, loads of entertainment during day like quizes, pool games bingo, fun to watch even if you dont take part. evening entertainment a bit cheesey but we only stayed in one night. drink was good for AI. meals were a bit repetative and meat dishes were made with cheap cuts of meat, but we always found something to fill up on. snacks between meals were always readily available, and pool bar as well as restaraunt served snacks too even ice lollies for the kids. pool area fun but a little crowded, the sunbed rush still happens at 8 am...no need really as there are loads of beds and we always found available beds after noon. this is a good value hotel, great for familys on a budget. i will return to this hotel again.

i stayed at the flamingo oasis in march for my birthday

i found the food good the staff were pleasant and the entertainment team were amazing

the hotel caters for all and i will be going back there next year

a lot of people are slating the hotel staff here but they fail to realise that when we are enjoying they have to put up with drunken behaviour when you take the time to treat the staff with respect i found them very pleasant

i can't wait for my next visit there.

the hotel is very impressive as soon as you go through the doors, reception staff were very good when booking in,no bands here photo cards which you had to keep on you for when you went to the bar, plenty of lifts enetertainment staff were on the go all day and night with different activities the shows they put on were brill as were the different artists at the bar you could have bottles of wine to yourself and you got bottles of water also which both was a first for us in a ai hotel the food was variable something for everyone

Gone totally downhill

This hotel has been lovely in the past, but it’s going downhill and this was my first visit. Grafitti on tables in show bar was bad language and should not be allowed.

The segregation of guests is laughable padded boards but same service and food. The adult bar is like gods waiting room, the staff work hard, there are some nice staff, and some with faces like a wet week.

Would I use this hotel again only if segregation and the withdrawal of sun roof were returned. There are better hotels in Benidorm that treat their guests all the same so check them out before you try this hotel. This hotel has made a big mistake. Hopefully it will revert back when customers complain.

We,ve stayed at the Flamingo oasis 13 times.two weeks at a time and once for a month. We remember our first visit when the hotel had just opened,Rock steady Eddie in piano bar,gym on 24th floor, allowed to use changing rooms in the sauna area and the showers, cases carried to your rooms, fab food, perfect.Sadly every six months things changed, and not for the better.Diego, then pepe[the best}then andy george (no comment)then oue pepe back.entertainment was good, the team worked hard, loved it.How things changed now all floors from 22 down subsidise the top few floors, for them tohave exclusive rights to rooftop bar. the rest of the "lower classes"banned. the subsitutethey give to the lower classes (us)have a pathetic area whrch has no toilets, bar not manned,no access for disabled and in winter the hotel melia next door blocks all the sun out.sprouts for brekkie even for thoe behind the wall. what a shame would we go again not until tall the changes are reversed. If you want to see this do not go back, complain to management by letter, or email.vote with your feet.tell thomsons they have spoilt what was the best hotel in Benidorm. If you do go back tell Pepe if he,s still there that the welsh couple whom he always played Julio@s Hey for send their love.

We arrived at the flamingo oasis around 8.30pm and check-in was really quick the bell boy from the club rooms help us as we had my son in a wheelchair my baby in her puschair and 3 cases.

the room was very large and so was the balcony there were four large wardrobes the bathroom had his and hers sinks and all balconys over look pool.

the room was always kept clean towels wre changed every day and sheets every 3 days

the location is about a ten minute walk to the beach and there are lots of shops nearby including one called quick save which sold cow and gatre and sma milk in cartons and powder and had a vast array of cow and gate baby food jars which was great

the food in this hotel is of a two start rating not the four the food is vile my soon caught food poisoning and was ill all the way home on the plane the plane nearly had to divert he was so ill.

breakfast the sausages were not cooked properly they always had fried bread in cinnamon with custard pork in gravy and carrots sweetcorn and peas for breakfast.

if you are vegetarian then all you will eat at this hotel for your holiday is pizza margharita for children all there is are spam fritters (avoid that is why my little boy was bad) cod bites and cod croquetes. at snack times the food is what is left over from breakfast dinner or tea nothing is cooked fresh.

there are hand sanitisers outside the restaurant but noone uses them in the last week of our hols it was all pensioners and majority of the do not take kindly to children.

cannot comment on the swimming pool as did not use it as when we had heavy rain the drain was overflowing into it and throughout the hotel if you seen a beach towel on the floor is was where the roof had been leaking.

we cannot fault the staff they are friendly and helpful and we did complain one day to the manager as they were carrying out building works in the room above us and between four and six when we were napping the kids and getting them ready for the night time he stopped them working as he had kept them up thye afternoon before.

the one very big plus to this hotel is water is very expensive out in benidorm and can cost between one and four euros for a small bottle but at this hotel you are given the bottles free.

another thing to watch out for is the amount of mentally disabled people that stay in this hotel there was a group of about ten of them with carers when we were there. i do understand there behavious as my son has cerebal palsy butfor people who are not used to adults wanting to join in with their kids playing it can be a bit overpowering

if you are travelling to this hotel with a disabled child and request a low flow we were given this request and also to put your mind at ease benidorm private hospital levante is next door
i would stay in this hotel again purely for the location and the room facilities and the hotel in general but not for the food

We have visited this hotel many times & I'm afraid to say, it had gone down-hill rapidly when we last visited in May 2009. Some facilities such as the 'adults only' roof terrace/bar/pool, are no longer included unless you upgrade to a clubroom - beware as our tour operator did not advise us of this at the time of booking. We enquired about uptrading at the hotel reception, but they said this would cost an extra 18euros each per day!! Club residents were segregated in the dining room area by what residents would call The Berlin wall [a few padded boards. The only decent thing seemed to be the hotel rooms. If you enjoy a decent alcoholic drink as part of your all inclusive, then do not venture here - the beer was unbearable & it seemed come night time the hotel was deserted - adults were going elsewhere paying for drinks rather than stay there. Most of the time there would be a queue at reception made up of people wishing to make a complaint for one reason or another - one of ours included my wife tearing her brand new dress on rickety furniture which has been there since we first went to the hotel 10 years ago. The adults only bar was more like a seance meeting and entertainment was most definitely not entertaing. The limited choice of food was cold and the menu remained the same on a daily basis. We were also joined at meal times by a few unwelcome guests - lots of flies, which the staff did nothing to try and resolve after we complained. WE MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE IN A HURRY!!!!!!

We joined our family (Mr & Mrs Fryer) who have also listed comments below! I absolutely back every single word up that Roy has said below! We have visited this hotel many times previously, 1x year 3x times! I could not belive the change within this hotel, my own personal thoughts where of WW11 with the way they seperate people in bar areas and dining room areas (Behind Walls/Partitions)! I thought it was all inclusive! Well if you go there "Good Luck" and don't forget to take plenty of money with you for needing to go out for a good night and a "GOOD DRINK" :-( Please refer also to "Roy Fryers" comments listed below.
All comments about the hotel where also reported to "Thomson" rep's at the hotel reguarly!

Just got back from the flamingo oasis, we have had a fantastic fortnight.

The food was excellent, always hot and lots of choice..

The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily.. We requested low floor and got this on arrival.

The animation team were fantastic the best i have ever seen.

Very little to fault at this hotel but on the downside it was a rugby scrum to get sunbeds and tables in the evening but after a couple of days we joined in the scrum....also a lack of shade around the pool, very few umbrellas..also beware of a thief who stole a ladies bag in the top bar by asking her to look for a pair of lost glasses under a table and as she looked for them they whipped her bag..

I would definitely return to this hotel and Benidorm.. loved it !!!
