Stayed here in May 2009 just as Thomsons took over the hotel as Gold. The rooms are large and all face the sun. Bathroom was spacious with a seperate shower which I liked. However, in 14 days our balcony was only cleaned once and the bathroom had mould in the bath and shower areas. Food was good, but sometimes not hot enough.
The pool area was large, always got a sunbed, hoxever most of these were broken. Glass lift from pool area to dining area was only working on one day.
Overall, not a 4* hotel. Needs work. Would return omly if the price was reduced.

Hotel is one of the best we have stayed in.Spotless every where.Good size pool area and sunbathing.One drawback is its 20mins walk from beach .We have just come back and THOMSONS are taking it over as a GOLD Hotel next week .Dont know if thats a good thing or not ,staff at Hotel are not happy about it .Just one compaint ,in booking in we had a safety box are were charged 14.50 euro plus 3 euros deposit but you DONT get the 3euros back at end of stay ,we were told it was a mistake ,all people we spoke to had theire 3euros deposit kept

returned yesterday after spending New Year at this hotel.As you can see from my ratings the standard of this hotel is very high. We could not have asked for better service, food etc. Well placed for catching bus to Old Town Albir and Altea. Would thoroughly recommend to couples.

This is our 2nd visit to the Levante our 1st being in 2005 and i can say overall we were not let down
Despite what some recent reports on here have said we found that the standards were as high as ever
The food was not quite as good as the last time we were here but i am a very fussy eater and ate magnificently every night but 1 so i cant see what people are complaining about.
The staff are wonderful polite, helpfull and most of all cheerful which in some places i have stayed was thin on the ground
Each night when me and my sisters rolled in at some ridiculous hour of the morning the security guard and night receptionist always had a smile asked us how our night had been and wished us goodnight
We did not see any of the in house entertainment so cant comment
Rooms spacious and clean and even with 3 girls staying in it we werent falling over each other all the time and trust me we had more clothes and toiletries than your average shopping centre!!!!!!!

very clean hotel. any member of staff we met were helpful and friendly in all parts of the hotel. our son had his birthday there ,we requested a cake which was brough to him after our meal when the staff sang to him. nothing was too much trouble.the food was a bit hit and miss but we all found something we liked.pool was excellent with the kids spending lots of time there. entertainment was a bit of a let down too but it would not stop us from going back to the levante club again.

all i can say about the lavante is its the best hotel iv been to in Benidorm iv been to 8 other hotels and none of them compared in the slightest :) the staff here were really nice english wasnt too cracking but you cant expect them too just know it i suppose it is a spanish country anyway i am going to be returnin june july 09 hoping a certain staff member will be there because she was lovley

stayed here for a week 31st may to 7th june found the hotel lived up to expectation. food wasnt 4 star but always enjoyed what was on offer especially the breakfasts have put on a couple of pounds! hotel very clean and modern. quite liked the location as it is on the outskirts of the resort so no rowdiness. didnt see much of the entertainment in the hotel but caught a bit of the bingo, awful, the animation chap tried but in my opinion failed not our cup of tea but theres loads to do in benidorm anyway. we would certainly return to the hotel.

We visited Levante club this may (got back friday).we are a couple in our twenties and we both had a lovely time.
The hotel was spotless.we continually saw cleaners around hoovering, dusting polishing.
BE WARNED though the cleaners tend to just walk in to your room even if you are displaying a 'do not disturb' sign on door.
Having read very negative food reviews about this hotel i was pleasantly surprised.i never found a problem with any of the dishes.An evening meal consisted of chips, pizza (occassionally), rice, pasta (plenty) lovely salads, lasagnes, meatdishes, deep fried peppers which were divine!again the restauarant was very clean and all staff there were more than friendly, polite and helpful and efficient.Hotel staff elsewhere very friendly, reception a little stuck up but all cannot be PERFECT.Entertainment was quite poor-the magic show is the only thing worth seeing.we visited The tropical bar and Rachels opposite the hotel almost every night and had a ball!!-rock and roll house also very good!!

Room not ready when we arrived, had to wait in bar, as did a lot of others. Having said that, the hotel is lovely. The entertainment is not worth mentioning, what there was, is quite forgettable. The main reason for us not returning to this hotel is the food. We are not fussy eaters but the food is just awful. Most of it is cold, sometimes if you`re lucky it`s lukewarm. The only thing thats hot are the dinner plates and they are too hot to touch sometimes. We ate out for the last 3 nights because we just couldn`t face the food that was being served there.
However,we still love Benidorm and will go back..

Having visited this hotel last year I can see that its gone downhill and I will not visit here again.
The food,its very poor with very little variety and the deserts are mainly tined fruit not what I would call 4 star.The dining room is very nice and the staff work hard to keep it clean.
The entertainment is poor to say the least.
The location is o.k ,if you dont mind a walk or a bus ride.
Now for the worst bit on our second day we went to the dining room for lunch and on our return to our room we found that a large amont af cash had been taken.
The management were not concerned didnt even appologise, all the help I had was a phone number for the police. Hotel management could not or would not explain how someone had access to our room,but it seems security is pretty poor.The holiday rep was very unconcerned about the matter and didnt even warn other guests.
