Just returned from a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Although its a bit further out than we normally stay, the 10 minute walk to the main area was worth it for the peace and quiet and general condition of this hotel.

The rooms were very spacious and modern, with a mini bar (we paid a deposit for the key and used it empty as a fridge). The bathroom is very big with a nice size bath, 2 showers and all glass and marble - superb!

The two beds we had were almost big enough to be doubles, and were very comfy indeed. The balcony was big enough and all are pool-facing. The air conditioning is free - very effective and nice and quiet (we left it on all through the night and could hardly hear it!). The safety deposit box is inside the wardrobe and costs 2euros per day.

Rooms were cleaned every day, with towels changed daily. Be warned though - if you want a lie-in (as we did) you need to put your 'do not disturb' notice on your door, or the maid will wake you at 9.30am (no good if you've only been in 4 hours!)

The pool area was always spotless clean with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar selling drinks and snacks. Inflatables were not allowed in the pool - which didn't bother us but may make it a bit boring for children. The spa is a must - I had a pedicure which left me walking on air, and we spend an afternoon in the spa for 9euros each, and was pure luxury!

We didn't make it to breakfast once, so can only comment on the evening meal. I was impressed with the food most nights - there was a choice of two soups for starters. There was a fish dish, at least one meat dish and lots of cold meats and salads. We never went hungry and always found the food to be piping hot. The puddings were scrummy and we had two or three most nights! The only thing I did notice (which didn't affect us!) was that kids weren't really catered for - we seen pizza and chips one evening, and lasagne another, but apart from that, they may struggle.

Men can now wear shorts in the restaurant, as long as they are not swimming shorts (my hubby wore demin shorts, combats etc and they were fine).

We don't recall seeing any groups of 18-30's - there were plenty of couples and a few young families.

We didn't stop in for the evening entertainment, there was was far too much going on in central benidorm, but we did sample a few of their 'daily special cocktails' - 2.5euros and blew your head off!

Although it is a 10 minute walk to the beach or square, we found it to be a pleasant walk and we normally caught a taxi back (for which we didnt pay any more than 4.5euros). There is plenty to do just outside the hotel if you don't want to venture too far - some english, irish etc bars opposite hotel with entertainment and quizzes etc. You must try a restaurant called 'Home From Home'..... the best english breakfast we have had abroad, with tea and orange juice for 4.5euros (although they do a smaller version for 2.5euros). The lunches are great too - chilli burgers and chips were our favourite! A pint of Estrella was only 1euro (75 pence!) Its run by a lovely welsh girl - we will definately be going there again!

I stayed at this hotel for a week, with my family and my friends on the 18th of July 2006.

When arriving to this hotel I was very impressed with the overall appearance of the hotel as it looked really nice.

The pool area during the day was also very nice. The people who work there are always arranging activities for the children and adults to so such as water polo, water aerobics etc. The bar at the pool is fantastic and the staff speak excellent English, which means no problems when ordering.

The hotel rooms are brilliant. They are very large and modern. In the rooms when arriving you have a welcome pack and even a set of bathroom toiletries, which include shower gel, toothbrush, shower cap etc. A fitted hairdryer is also provided in the bathroom to. The views from the balcony are nice, especially at night.

The food was nice, apart from it lacked variety of choice, which didn't really bother us. The majority of the staff in the dining hall were nice, apart from one woman who is usually there at breakfast. I never saw here smile upon my stay and if people ever left food on their plate she would mutter things to herself almost in disgust. You will know who I am on about if you ever stay or have stayed there yourself

The entertainment at night was OK, although I have seen better in other hotels. There wasn't many people watching the entertainment anyway, as there is so much to do in Benidorm at night anyway.

The spa seemed great, although I didn't use it myself. Although I did have a game of tennis, which was a lot of fun. The rackets the spa provide are unusual but still work. It costs 12 euros for game of tennis and 1 euro for each tennis racket you borrow. They say you have 1 hour. However, I played twice and always had over an hour and they never really mined. I think you should have more than 1 hour for 12 euros anyway!

Overall, I thought this was a lovely hotel, and great for all ages. I would definitely return here again.

The hotel looked impressive on arrival, especially on comparison to some of the others the bus had dropped off at, very modern, spacious and clean. No problems at check in, I had e-mailed in advance requesting, room 1501, rooms ending in 01, have a large wrap around balcony, with stunning views at the higher levels, and this was the room I got, hired the safe and took the 18 euro mini bar option, which I thought was good value. The room was large spacious, lovely bathroom with two showers, and clean. The beds were comfortable, good size TV, but not to much choice in English. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the towels and sheets changed daily as well, all public areas of the hotel were also cleaned to a high standard.

The pool was smallish but ok, plenty of sunbeds, but once or twice tried to stop me towels out before nine, the pool was also closed on two occasions, because of pooh in the pool, maybe the should not let younger children use it untill the are potty trained, also i was a little concerned that I never seen them hose it down in the two weeks I was there. Staff on the whole were friendly and polite, except for a couple who seemed to think they were doing you a favour.

The food I thought was ok, but there was some complaints, about lack of choice, and it been cold, and after a while you get tired of it.

The location was fine a ten minute stroll into the town centre and the beach, a little slope but not much and a taxi back 5 euros. The area could noisy at night with the entertainment, in nearby hotel and bars, they stopped most nights at midnight, but once or twice went on later, but we were out late anyway so it was no bother.

The entertainment was poor small audiences and tired acts, for those who like to stay close to the hotel, the rock and roll bar,and little Belfast bar, just across the road are good craic, and I must recomend the Manderin Chinese resteruant, excellant value.

This hotel is not very child friendly and I would recomend the Falmingo Oasis, next door for families, all inclusive and great entertainment.

All there was a few negative points I liked this hotel and I would stay in it again and would recommend it.

When I arrived at the hotel I was surprised how lovely and big it was.

It may have been a little far from the nightclubs but it was great for sobering up as we didn

Hotel was excellent, very clean but is no longer an adults only hotel, more family orientated.

The rooms are the best I have seen for any hotel in Benidorm with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with a walk in cubicle shower as well as one over the bath.

The down side to this hotel was unfortunately the food.
There was plenty of options both hot and cold but the hot meals although well presented were at the best only lukewarm and sometimes actually cold. Even though this was conveyed to the staff nothing appeared to be done about it.

The staff were very good and polite nothing seemed to much trouble to them.

This hotel was perfect, very clean at all times, rooms great, plenty of storage, big bathroom and bath and toilet are separate.

Food was good, something different to choose from every night.

Can't comment on the entertainment as we never stayed in because there were so may bars and clubs to go too.

Pool area was always clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and your holiday rep was always available.

We will definitely be visiting this hotel next year but for two weeks instead.

I recommend to visit this hotel whatever age.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the food has improved since our last visit in April 2005.

The hotel is a fair distance from the beach, but its good exercise to get rid of the hangovers. I found the hotel staff very helpful and very friendly.

I would definitely visit this hotel again in the future.

The hotel was itself was very good, staff good, rooms spacious and comfortable.

The food was among the worst I have had in any hotel. There was very little variety which was repeated every other day and very badly cooked if at all. The meat was only half cooed most of the time and the eggs at breakfast were raw, the white of the eggs was all runny. The sweets were the same every night
