When I arrived, I must admit the man on receptionist was a bit moody, but other than that the accommodation was standard with a good size balcony and apartment.
The apartment was a ten minute walk from the bars and beach.
I would definitely recommend these apartments for groups of friends, as they can get quite noisy.
Over all great location and great value for money, there were 12 of us mixed genders and it was fantastic!!

Also there was a clean set of towels issued once but no clean sheets issued over a 7 night stay!
I would say that any couple that want a bit of piece and quiet at night, then this hotel would NOT be the one for you.
I must say however that I personally found the guys at reception to be very helpful and pleasant.

There was not enough water to have a shower. There were four adults in the one apartment getting ready for a night out on the town. Not enough water for two showers let alone four. When I approached the hotel manager he just calmly explained you have to wait one hour and thirty minutes for the boiler to reheat.
The hotel staff not very accommodating.
On the whole an average apartment I will not return there.

You get lots of clean towels and sheets and a TV that requires a euro to work for 30 mins. The best bit is the balcony which is about 8 metres by 12 and has a table and chairs. We were lucky to have friendly neighbours our age although many people looked retired.
The staff was helpful and available at all hours. They speak quite good English too.
The location was surprisingly good as we expected a massive walk to the beach however it takes less than ten mins to get to the beach and you pass lots of restaurants and shops on the way.
The apartment also comes with utensils and cups/bowls/pans to allow you to cook there is also a good fridge/ toaster/mini oven and hob.

It may sound silly but you'd think there would be some one on reception that could because of the amount of English that visit.
The rooms was quite dirty. Towels and beds only changed twice in a week. I noticed some kind of dead insect in the corner of the room before we left to go out one morning, it was still there when we got back. As it was in the corner I left it there, it was still there when we went home a week later! Were the floors ever cleaned?
I love to sit round the pool usually in an afternoon for a few hours, so the first day is what I went to do but i sat there for about 10 mins then left. there was something about it that made me feel uncomforble. Didnt sit around again. The safes were in reception so every time you needed any money all of reception could see what you'd got in your safe.
Not my cup of tea. Never stay in this hotel again.

In all 11 of us went on holiday all aged 18-25. 8 stayed in the lux mar, and other 3 in the flamingo playa.
On the 1st night we were all pretty drunk, as you do. 2 of the guys decided to go home, and on their way 6 spanish got out of a car and battered them with baseball bats, stole money, phone watches etc. The police came and said they were just drunk and to move or they would be put in jail. Due to this 2 of the group decided that after 24 hours, they were going home. leaving 9 of us.
Also on the first night, another person got his wallet stolen, and another guy got his phone stolen. Reported to police, who didn't care one bit.
On the saturday night I decided to stay in the appartement. leaving the other 8 guys to go out at night. That night I slept on the balcony as it was hot. And was woken up at about 4am by one of the boys shouting my name, when i was asleep the door had been kicked in and was lying open. I had slept through this. (somehow) and i was sober ! When the rest of the boys got back, we went down to the reception of the lux mar, and told of what had happened, nothing had been stolen. The guy at reception got the security guard to come up and look at the door.
Next morning we went down to reception, and talked to the rep and staff at lux mar. We were asked to pay 370 euros for a new door or leave as they thought it was us who had kicked the door down, due to me having a key in the door, and the other boy getting one at reception on his way up.
As we knew none of us kicked it in, we refused to pay. The rep was very very poor in helping us, siding with the hotel staff. So 4 of us left to stay at the flamingo playa for 2 nights. Leaving 2 other guys in a different room in lux mar. We couldn't have stayed with them, as the staff said they would call the police.
So... The door situation. The theory we came up with is that someone at the luxmar staff kicked the door in. To get money out of us. (the door wasn't staying closed when we got there) To buy a new door and to make a bit of a profit, including our 120euro deposit. I mean

The room was dirty we had it cleaned but it was of a poor standard. There were broken plug sockets, dirty linen, kitchen utensils were dirty never cooked in the room well you wouldn't want to if you had seen it.
The staff were neither pleasant nor rude probably as we were a family, these apartments are geared towards younger kids who just want a place to sleep,a family would find it unacceptable.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms and you have to leave your balcony doors open which was still insufficient at 70 to 80 degrees at night and in the 90 s in the day.
We stayed out of these rooms as much as possible only came in to sleep well that's a laugh as it was full of younger kids there was a lot of noise, urinating over balconys and throwing each other in and out of the pool.
These apartments are probably okay for teenagers but not for family's we would not stop there again if you paid us.
The location of the apartments is such that you tene to stick to one road to get there which was a bit boring going past the same shops everyday and because we did not want to go back to the apartment most of the hoiday was spent walking around.
There is alot of building work going on at the moment and there are cranes everwhere but at least they dont work on saturdays and sundays.
At the time of year we went it was also the spanish holidays and it was full of spanish people which sounds stupids as you are in spain but its usually full of brits, the spanish workers in benidorm were nice, shops, restaurants etc, but the spanish on holiday are horrible arrogant people who definately do not like the brits.
