Food wise, Salad bar was excellent, hot food was not always hot and not a great variety, sweets were tremendous and the choices was exceptional, but ! hot food was re-vamped too often and reappeared as something else the next day.
Robero the Matrie De was as usual, excellant as were all of the dining room staff.
We will use this hotel again but ona sol need to get the finger out and preceed with refurbishment A.S.A.P.
Entertainment in the evenings left a lot to be desired

Our room was on the 16th floor (we had requested a low floor) it was a 2 person room with an camp bed added which was a bit cramped there was no way we could spent two weeks in that tiny room. W e complained at reception and was told to came back the next day and they would move us, which they did, we were given a room on the 15th floor which was bigger and had three beds in. The view from our room was amasing you could see right across the beach.
The maids cleaned our room every day as was the whole of the hotel, towels and bedding changed regularly.
The restaurant was fab the food was excellentand the staff friendly.
The beach was on our doorstep, plenty of pubs, clubs restaurants, cafe,s, bars and loads of shops nearby.
We didnt stay in our hotel at night for the entertainment cos theres loas of places to go in benidorm but there was entertainment at night for all ages. During the day there was plenty to do for all ages Table Tennis, Darts Football, Water Polo, Aqua aerobics for Adults and children.
Lovely big pool with loads of beds but you have to get up early to get one.
Had a brilliant time at Loa Dalmatas and would recommend this hotel to anyone and i would certainly go back.

I was initially a bit dissapointed as I had requested a high floor in a family room facing the sea but we were allocated room 512 which was at the side of the hotel facing the Triangle pub although if you popped your head around the balcony, you did get a seaview. The room was very small for the 4 of us, it was a double room with 2 extra beds in, one of them been a camp bed, very cramped but we managed.
We found all the staff very pleasant and professional and really friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
In other hotels that I have stayed in, I have found mealtimes quite stressful with people pushing and shoving and just general dissaray but that was not the case here. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, the food was great, fresh, hot and plenty of choice for everyone. The waiter/waitress came to the table to take your drinks order and we never waited more than a couple of minutes to be served.
The pool area did get very busy and at times you couldn't get a sunbed but we aren't ones for laying around the pool all day so it didn't really affect us.
The lifts at this hotel are a major problem and as the week went on, I was relieved that we were on the 5th floor as we were able to walk down at busy times. On the ground floor there are 4 lifts but 2 are for the odd floors and 2 for even so quite often we'd jump in the even one to the 6th floor and walk down.
There was a happy hour between 8 and 9pm when it was buy one get one free, we only took advantage of it once as we were usually having our evening meal at that time.It would have been better if it was earlier.
The hotel as previously mentioned is very tired and in need of a refurb, especially the bedrooms but in my opinion the food and service made up for it.
I wouldn't hesitate in staying at the Dalmatas if the price was right.

Food is ok but nothing spectacular with a wide choice of both hot and cold dishes.
2 minutes from beach, supermarket, shops and bars. Livelier areas are a 10 minute walk.
Staff were efficient and friendly, however requests for specific floors, sea or pool views are ignored as they have "so many requests".
Daytime entertainment is good with organised water polo, archery, rifle shooting and darts played around the pool.
Evening entertainment is for the "blue rinse brigade"
Pool view rooms are shaded from lunchtime onwards, sea view rooms have sun in the afternoon and evening.
Rooms have air con.

The rooms were spacious & spotless (if a little dated) maids cleaned every day not just making up the beds!
The food was excellent, we had a VERY fussy eater in our party who eat extremely well on this holiday, but a little limited for children (don't expect chicken nuggets & fish fingers etc.)
Roberto in charge of the dining room was excellent and kept everything running smoothly! The food was plentyful, lots of choice, and Hot when it should be & salads etc were well chilled, And the desserts...WOW!!!
The hotel location was fab less than 2 mins to the beach, shops & bars nearby but quiet at night so we could sleep undisturbed. The staff were all friendly & helpful and any requests were acted on very quickly.
The entertainment in the hotel was the usual Benidorm hotel quality not much to write about, but plenty of entertainment nearby. One complaint I would have about this hotel is the pool was too cold to even get in at this time of year, even the childrens pool was freezing cold. The children in our party loved the playground area which was grassed to stop them hurting themselves & was very clean.
Overall I would rate this hotel very well & all in our party said they would stay there again.
