We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Avoid!
If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

we stayed at la cala beach which is very close to the poienntte beach very clean there was lots of sunbeds.
there was plenty of cafes where we was and if you go to the old town where the levante beach is there is even and macdonalds and kfc and there was plenty of lively nightlife on that side.
buses and taxi very cheap for how far you go.
sand on beach gets very hot.
i would definatly come here again.

Cleanliness of resort and beaches was fantastic.
Benidorm is heaving with things to do and places to go. This ranges from both European award winning beaches to Terramitica (mini Alton Towers), Monderma (I think) (sealions, dolphins and birds etc)and aqualandia (slides, slides and more slides).
In a nutshell, something to do for all the family

Having never been to Benidorm, and having heard stories regarding lager louts etc, we were quite surprised at how quiet and sedate the Levante Beach area was. It wasn't particularly good for childrens entertainment and the younger children had to endure a couple of dire cabaret nights..bless them! The streets were clean and well policed and the beach was excellent. There is also a waterpark nearby (5 euros by taxi) called Aqualand which is really excellent value and the children loved it. However, as much as I could understand why people would return, our whole experience was ruined by the robbery and lack of follow up and, as a result, I could never see us returning to the Costa Blanca.

The resort of Benidorm was very good but advise people to move down the beach if you want to swim as quite a stretch of the Levante beach has hidden rocks that you have climb over to swim. The beach was spotlessly clean.loads of bars, clubs and restaurants.NOTE-watchout for pickpocket gangs that try to get you to play find the peanut, they are brilliant at emptying your pocket and passing it on to their mates.

Most of the resort was clean although on a couple of occassions we needed to walk through rougher areas that weren't quite as attractive. The beach was gorgeous! It was clean and tidy although could get extremely busy at times! There was always something to do at the resort and the night life was incredible!

If Blackpool was like Benidorm, I'd go there more often. The entertainment is plentiful and free. Some of the cabaret places have about six acts on each night, so you can pick and chose. The beer and food is reasonable bordering on cheap.
Levante Beach is great. Very clean. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols at all times. Just remember to budget for the hire charges, if you have a big family. 3 Euro for a sunbed and 3 Euro for a parasol can add up over a week if there's five or six of you.
Have a good holiday !! Watch out for Paul Hughes the singer from Manchester. He is superb and that's from a Scouser.

Benidorm is a very clean resort all of the pavements are like marble and it is quite slippy so beware.
I was little disappointed with the shopping thought it was quite poor all much of a muchness. Although the market is a great experience but you have to be prepared to haggle example I got a bag for 30 euros when the guy originally said 75 euros !!!

Can't fault Benidorm, lots to do, cheap, but in essence Benidorm is Blackpool transplanted to the Costa Blanca.Try the tuesday market in Altea, the taxi only cost 20 euro there and back.If your looking for sunshine, cheap booze, food and everyone understands English, Benidorm is for you.
