We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!
Avoid!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Been going to Benidorm for the last 8 years and it never fails to please.

Benidorm has a very varied nightlife, from the square for the younger generation,to the many bars along the seafront offering old time ballroom type dancing for the older. The only downside to Benidorm is as with many tourist sites it has the pitfalls of pickpockets and conmen preying on the vunerable, the spanish gypsy's doing the find the pea trick is the worst case I have seen personally and would advise anyone to steer well clear.

We enjoyed Benidorm and in particular found a small beach beyond Poniente beach which had good parking and was very clean with good restaurants close by.

The resort was great with plenty to do and lots of eating places to go.
Beach was with in walking distance which was clean .
There is plenty to do for all ages.
The old town is lovely, and you can shop to you drop.
Would return but don't know when as its put us off, we had saved all year for this holiday what a big disappointment,

Benidorm is a great resort but bear in mind we went at the end of September and the place was heaving!!! Mostly old people which is no bad thing (we are in our late 20's) as there was no trouble or 'lager louts' to be seen!!
Because of the 'high-rise' nature of the buildings, it feels like you are in a big city by the sea, even the old town is busy at the best of times.
We described the Levante promenade and beachfront not unlike the M62 motorway (with people being the very busy traffic!!!) Watch out for the odd 'crazy' moped driver (the locals drive with no respect for pedestrians so do be careful).
Entertainment is good but we thought the overall feel of the place was 'too many hotels and not enough entertainment', the bars and clubs are spread out throughout the resort in small clusters so expect a lot of walking in Benidorm!!!
Beaches are excellent with a high standard of cleanliness, but Levante suffers from mass overcrowding, better to stay on the Poniente side as beach is bigger, a lot less crowded in every way, and the sand slopes more gently down into the sea.
Recommended excursions are the Benidorm Palace, Mundomar (dolphins etc), Lemon express, the downhill bike ride (if you do only one thing in Benidorm, do this!!!). The waterpark (aqualandia) is OK but overpriced and in our opinion safety was not of a high standard, so do be careful if visiting here!
A lot (95%) of Benidorm shops are either expensive designer shops or cheap'n'tacky Blackpool style souvenir shops, so we were not impressed by the shopping here.
The main benidorm market is a joke, although it appears at first glance to be the biggest outdoor market ever, every 6th stall seems to be repeated over and over again, so there is no point walking around the whole of the market!!! (It’s very crowded also, - a pickpockets paradise!!!).
Beware the blanket trip... We did not go on it but got told it was worse than a time share... and not a blanket in site!!!- A complete waste of time.
There is also a lot of building going on around the outskirts of the place, so expect to se a tower crane or 10 at least once during your stay!!!
Would stay in Benidorm again but find the Canary Islands much more relaxing place!!!
Best thing about benidorm? The beaches and the seemingly none stop sunshine!!!

Lovely Beach
Lovely promenade to walk up and down at night and the old town was very nice.
Plenty of places to eat, drink and watch the footy, plus loads of cheapo shops to look around.
Everywhere you look there are ex-pats running bars/cafes from the different regions of the UK, so something for everyone.

Excellent resort, been a few times now and there is so much to do. Lots of good eating places and the entertainment was really good.
There were so many different acts on at night that you couldn't see them all.
Benidorm has everything to suit everybody. Fantastic.

Benidorm is a wonderful resort. It has something for everyone. It has the new (Levante) side and the old (Poniente) side. Two complete contrasts and I just love them both.
There are parts of Benidorm which are pretty litter strewn but that just makes me angry because its the tourists who cause the litter. Some people have no respect.
Anyway, I could go on an on about the best aspects of Benidorm but I wouldn't know where to start. It's a resort where you should never be bored, can be out all night or lounge around on the beach all day. You can shop till you drop or eat till you burst. In fact you can do anything here.
The entertainment is varied and whether you just want a quiet night or an night on the tiles its up to you.
Benidorm will always be my favourite holiday destination and I plan to visit it at least twice in the next 12 months.
