We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Avoid!
If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Benidorm is i guess not disimilar from blackpool, not that i have personally visited blackpool, the streets could do with a good hose down.
Entertainment was fair,if you picked the right bars to go into.
The beaches ,i have to say were top class, even if they were overcrowded,we had to fight for a space as it was spanish holiday time.
I wouldnt visit the resort again,as it is very noisy,to top it all,we were robbed at the airport on the way home!!!!

The Flamingo is located 10 mins from the beach (If you are Seb Coe that is!) 15 minutes for the rest of us. Up an incline. Its a long drag if you've spent the day on the excellent beach. Benidorm is a fabulous resort for all ages. I highly reccomend it.

Benidorm has a bit for everybody. If your young then there is a vast amount of pubs, clubs and eating places.
You can eat in anything from simlpe cafes to expensive resturants with English style pubs (The Duke of Wellington, The Robin Hood just to name a couple) a plenty.
You can walk along the whole front and on the way you pass through different parts of the city. There is the tourist aparment side, the middle area with lots of cheap shops then onto the old town area. They have plenty of great shops and a it has a great atmosphere. Try the little cafe overlooking the harbour and near the church, great views.
As for cleanliness of the place, its fairly clean but like all touristy places rubbish can build up in places.
The beach standard is good with cleaners, cleaning it everynight. Although during the day there is a plentiful supply of cig butts in the sand. The sea is warm and shallow and you can wade out a fare distance. During the summer there is para-sailing, banana-boat rides, pedlos and a water sking ride (you hold on and it takes you around a track). There are sun-lounges you can hire along with parasols.
Would go back again and again.

WE STAYED IN THE CENTRE OF THE LAVANTE AREA OF BENIDORM WHICH IS CERTAINLY VERY BRITISH (BIT LIKE BLACKPOOL WITH SUN) BUT BRILLIANT FOR THE KIDS BUT TAKE A 15/20 MIN WALK ALONG THE FRONT AND YOU COME TO THE OLD TOWN WITH BUSTLING STREETS AND A WEALTH OF CULTURE ALONG WITH NUMEROUS DESIGNER NAMED SHOPS, MULTI CULTURAL AND BREATHTAKING IS THE ONLY WAY I WOULD DESCRIBE THE OLD TOWN AND IF YOU WANT TO EAT IN A TRADITIONAL SPANISH RESTAURANT THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT ALTHOUGH YOU STILL FIND A GOOD FEW ENGLISH EATERIES THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE. THE BEACHES ARE LOVELY AND CLEAN ALTHOUGH A WORD OF WARNING THE LEVANTE END DID HAVE ALOT OF ROCKS AS YOU ENTERED THE WATER WHICH MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO TAKE THE CHILDREN IN AND OUT BUT THE POINETE END (OLD TOWN) WAS FINE. ALL IN ALL BENIDORM IS A FANTASTIC MIX OF OLD AND NEW WITH A BIT OF SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE (AQUAPARK, THEME PARKS, MARINE LIFE CENTRE (KIDS HAD PICTURES TAKEN WITH DOLPHINS (12 EUROS) NOT TO BE MISSED).

I have been to Benidorm on 4 occaisions but I would not travel at the height of the season again. The resort was much dirtier than I have found it on other occasions. The beach is a beautiful expanse of soft sand but the sea often had rubbish floating in it and on a few occasions I noticed sanitary towels in the water. Benidorm has something for everyone but was very crowded and rowdy at nights at this time of year.

Benidorm: the resort is very busy but mainly Spanish from Madrid and Northern Spain. The tatooed holiday makers are in the north of the resort - best avoided. But in general as long as you stay near the old town area and the beach it is fine.

after two vists to benidorm now i would not go back again, our first visit was nice but it has turned into a cheap and nasty place now.
theres lots for the teenagers to do nightlife was okay for families but you need to walk alot you find a nice bar and go back the next night only to find the same thing on.
the beaches were great, 3 euros for a bed and 3 for an parasol, be careful in the sea as there are rocks but its nice and warm and altogether very enjoyable.
mundomar is brilliant for kids and well worth going we loved it.
aqualandia is unbelievable brilliant for all ages even if you didnt swim the scenery was gorgeous lovely areas to sit by 10 out 10 i recommend this highly for all ages i loved it. the kids didnt want to leave.
all in all it was a disappointing holiday and would not visit benidrom again well not for a good few years anyway.
the only hotels i would stay in if i went again would be hotel flamingo oasis fully inclusive absolutely beautiful well worth paying a bit extra for and the hotel melia benidorm this was the best hotel in benidorm *****.

benidorm, if you go to Aquamania take pleny of euros!!! 8 euros for a rubber ring ie 6 to hire and 2 deposit.. they fleece you for 3 euros to hire a sunbed.. And you have payed a lot to get in the place.. Get the No 10 bus to get you into the old town 85 cents per person no matter how far you go.. For goodness sake watch yourselves in the sea.. Most of the coast is rock under the water and you slip and stub your toes... I dragges my daughter out after seeing a used sanitary towel and three condomes floating on the surfice, not to mention the beer bottle glass my daughter thought was a seashell... I have tried to be honest and upbeat but Benidorm in my opinion has dropped off the places to visit anymore for my family.. I don't believe the locals want us there anymore either..
