We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Benidorm is very clean with many places to eat and drink including many nice english places including regs bar and dog and donut. The prices were very reasonable and the food enjoyable. We did not see much varied entertainment in this area but down in the new town there is plenty more to do.The sun beds are 3euro each for the day.

I could't say I noticed a mess anywhere in the resort so it must have been okay. The entertainment in the bars looked good, with 3 kids didn't get to much of it.We liked the beach, lots to eat and drink right beside it too, and a nice promanade to walk along at night. Its a very busy, built up resort, but we dont mind this, there are a lot of shops and bars so if this doesn't suit you then maybe Benidorm is not the place for you, but we will go back!

Cleanliness in this resort is first class, resort entertainment is first class and beach is clean. There is a few women begging in the streets late at night which is off putting as they have small babies, but you wonder if they are really poor. Also there is a scam where families with three potatoes shelled out and you have to guess what one the little ball is under, but they have family also playing to make you think it is easy and win.As soon as the police show up they dissapear and throw the big cardboard box away that they use for a table.

The location was lovely. We did not come to Spain to site see my husband and I just wanted a relaxing break in the sun, so we did't venture to any of the sights or attractions, although we did go to new Benidorm for a look round the shops which made us realise that we had the best deal in old Benidorm ie not so many youths out on the town.
The beach was clean and tidy and I did't think 9 euros was too pricy for 2 sunloungers and a parasol for the whole day.

We satyed at Plam Court for our first girlie holiday away, it was exellent for young people who want nightlife on there doorstep. You do hear people coming home from the clubs as the apartments are situated at the top of the square, but we were always half cut anyway so it didnt bother us!! Dean the barman made our holiday, he is so funny and gets everybody up singing on karaoke night,if its your birthday make sure u mension it as it was my friends 18th while we were there, he made sure she had a brilliant night and gave her free cocktails and shots all night!.We'd definatley stay there again!!.x.x.

Benidorm - What can you say...you love it or hate. Blackpool in the sun, but what great FUN, bars galore and even more.
My wife and I first stayed in Benidorm on our honeymoon in 1973, at the then Reymar Hotel, now the Ambassador Playa. We returned with friends in June 2000 to the Rosamar Hotel, and again on our own for a weeks break in Nov 2001. This year (July 2004) we "moved up" to 4 star at the lovely Melia Hotel and enjoyed every minute of our two weeks. There is so much to do, with a lovely big beach at the Levante end, loads of cafes, bars and shops, all very reasonable with some good bargains (watches for 5 Euros =£3.50).
Yes, the 'British Square' bar area in Levante is tacky at night, but there are nice bars as well, especially on the beach front. The Old Town is interesting and much more 'Spanish'. The bus system is great, frequent, runs till late and is cheap - only 85 cents for most journeys! Taxis are plentiful and safe, but make sure you AGREE the price at the outset.
We visted the new theme park "TERRA MITICA" on a wednesday (in mid July) and it was fairly quiet with little or no queues all day. This theme park is much more for adults/older kids, as there seemed limited rides/activities for the young ones. There are plenty of cafes and stalls selling drinks, ices, burgers etc, but as usuall all at a higher price. NOTE: that you are NOT allowed to take in your own food or drinks and your bags will be searched on entry to the park. We got a taxi to the park at 10am for 10 Euros (about £7) for two of us. We'd bought our tickets in the hotel from our Rep for a special price of 20 Euros each, good value as it was 24 E's at the gate for each adult. We had a great day and tried all the rides including the wet ones (Rapids, log flume etc), I was glad we had shots and t-shirts on as we got SOAKED, but dried very quickly as it was lovely and sunny. We got a local bus back to central Benidrom for 85 cents each, it is only 15-20 minutes away but they can get busy.
We also had a great night out at the famous Benidorm Palace show, again getting tickets in advance from our Rep.(24 E's each). Don't bother booking the meal, eat early in your hotel and go for the show only, it's much cheaper and the Palace meal didn't look to be up to much from what we could see, and was 'rushed' out. However, the show itself is stunning! On a massive stage that goes up and down at various levels, and a cast of thousands! The first half is Spanish style but the second is more 'Las Vegas' show style, with topless dancers, but all very tasteful. This show is great for ALL the family, and runs from 10ish till late, we got out about 1am. You get your first drink free, and after that the bar prices were not bad, with an efficient waiter service to your table. You MUST visit the Palace if you go to Benidorm. The show changes each season, we've seen three now, and all great but different.
So....If you want FUN in the SUN give Benidorm a try, if your square or shy go to Menorca instead!!!
