We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!
Avoid!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

found that benidorm was a lot quieter this year.beware of pickpockets one person had his wallet stole as soon as he got off the bus going to book into his hotel.if going for a drink pick a pup with no entertainment as these are a lot cheaper then progress to the clubs with the acts. a word of warning always check your change we went to a karaoke pub called the black chicken a good night soured with the fact that the barstaff shortchanged one of us by ten euros later on in the night he tried to do the same but this time by fifty euros beware!

Benidorm is the biggest single resort in Europe and it is split into three distinct parts, Pontiente, Levante and they are seperated by the 'old' town of benidorm.
Levante is almost exclusively for British holiday-makers and the vast majority of bars, clubs and restraunts are run for the British visitors.
Pontiente is more cosmopolitan and you'll find that more native Spanish and other european nationalities stay here.
Both have many high rise hotels and apartments and it is reminisent of a mini New York.
Both have excellent clean long beaches and are rated as two of the best beaches in the world!
Entertainment is there to suit everyone from small bars to huge nightclubs and caberet clubs. Plenty of the nightclubs don't mind children earlier in the night so if you have teenagers who like the scene, they will enjoy it.
The most lively part of Benidorm is situated bang in the middle of Levante a couple of blocks up from the beach and is known as 'The Square' although there are plenty of entertainment throughout the whole resort.
With so much competition, bar prices are very cheap but expect to pay a bit more in places offering live entertainment. Eating out also is very affordable so if you stay in an apartment it won't break the bank.
A word of warning though about money changing booths. Some give you the correct rate of exchange but quite a lot advertise a higher rate of exchange, but only for a minimum exchange of around £2000 so if they advertise a rate 'too good to be true' it probably is! Avoid!
Sheila's in the indoor market is one of the best places to cash cheques or exchange sterling or of course you can leave your money at home and use any ATM (cash) machine which is the cheapest option. (check with your bank what they charge for each withdrawal, usually around £2 a visit)
Taxi's are cheap and on a set tarrif. Buses fares are a set 85 cents to go anywhere in the resort.
I would recommend Benidorm to anyone.

The resort Cleanlines was ok .It was quite dusty but it was clean. The resort entertainment was amazing like Terra Mitica And Aqualandia an Mundomar thery were all great an amzing i would defenatly go there again. The beach was nowere as good as what they made it look on postcards an that! But it was still nice it was nice an sandy but the water wasnt clear blue like when i went to Costa Del Sol.But it was still nice! I dont think i would go there again because it was to old an not enough like designer shops an stuff like modern stuff!BUT THE HOLIDAY WAS GREAT!!THANKS SO MUCH CADIZ APARTMENTS!

I am not a beach person I enjoy walking and exploring and I find the old town of Benidorm a fascinating place to wander round

The resort seemed a little dirtier in places then when we visited 2 years ago but not enough to put me off going again it just gets quite busy in the main 2 weeks of summer so a bit is to be expected due to being a popular resort. Entertainment has to be given a 5 as there is something for everyone. Most of the time you end up arguing with family because there is to much to do.But what ever you want to do,it is there in benidorm.

My top things to do in benidorm,
1.terra mitica,
a fabulous place, great rides great entertainment.By the way
no food or drink is allowed in the park.Free bus from Rincon de loix.(levante beach)
2.benidorm palace
fantastic show good food.A tip if you don't have the dinner you get a seat right by the stage.
3.mundomar
Marine park, cheap to get in,a good half day out.
By the way buses are cheap 85 cents one way anywhere around benidorm.
The are loads and loads of bars, shops and restaurants and the prices must be the cheapest in spain.Lager 1.50euro,meals around 5.00 euros so cheap its unreal.

The main dirt at the resort seemed to come from the spaniards dogs bottoms, loads of them out on a evening, (midday sun and all of that)Not a lot of litter that i noticed anyway.
There is loads of bars every kind of entertainment for all ages. Plenty fast food and eating places and shops mostly selling the same tat. If you go to the old town(but not at the weekend as its packed full of locals you cant move)there are some lovely designer shops, worth a look. Dont buy any perfume or at least know how much it is at home befor you buy as i found it very expensive. The beach is clean and long and near by are lots of english bars with some pints of the local brew only 1e. I enjoyed it and probably would return just not for a long time.

Old Benidorm is very quiet and I would say more suited to families and older couples. The beach is great, very clean, but at times got unbearable with the heat.Found some British cafes which were very nice and friendly, but the local bars ,cafes and tapas bars in Old Benidorm Town were lovely.Sadly wasn't able to go on the Lemon Express as it was closed but will go next year. Will be returning 2005.
