We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Benidorm is a big resort with a bit of everything to suit everybody...the choice is there, so it's up to you to either take it or leave it.
Benidorm is one of those places that you either love or hate, there's no in-between.
The entertainment is the best in Europe, the beaches are cleaned every night and continue to hold the “ blue flag”.
Its popularity is down to the town's diversity.
If you want Britain with the sun, it's there.
If you want Spanish, it's there.
If you want the brash, it's there and if you want luxury hotels and designer shops....yes they are there too.
If you can drag yourself away from Benidorm, the surrounding areas of the Costa Blanca are only a short 1-euro bus ride away, with typical Spanish white washed villages that could be a million miles away from the image of Benidorm.

I would never ever visit Benidorm again even if someone paid me to go. I had a bad experience and had my handbag snatched on the first night. Only material things taken really but that's not the point. The place is full of robbing gypsies and prostitutes. After speaking with many people the stories I heard were terrible of lots and lots of men and women being robbed/mugged/conned or pick pocketed, some being violent attacks! I didnt feel safe there at all, day or night and that's even being in a group of 12. A lot of people seem to think Benidorm is the bees knees, these people have obviously not travelled much! The entertainment is good if you like cabaret shows which is very similar to watching 'stars in their eyes'! If you like to go somewhere with culture this is definately not the place to go, a long promenade with a sandy beach on one side, and ugly high rise hotels and apartment blocks on the other, english bars, english cafes, english restaurants, tacky gift shops, macdonalds, kfc, subway, definately Little Britain. The best bit about Benidorm was that the sun shined! I had expected no different from Benidorm but for a hen weekend thought it would be bearable because of the entertainment. My hopes of the place were dashed because of the very high crime rate there, yes the UK has a high crime rate too but for a holiday resort the percentage of muggings etc was quite unbelievable. I thought I was being vigilant but these people are very good at what they do. Go at your own risk. Take care of yourself and all your belongings because there are lots of low life scum in Benidorm ready to take them from you and ruin your holiday! Also beware at Alicante airport when you are waiting for your luggage, there are even pick pockets there!

We stayed in the Old Town part of Benidorm, and were very happy with our choice, as it was very peaceful, but close enough to walk to the main centre.
It has a super beach, cleaned every day,and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Local transport is great, just 1 euro for any distance.
Try a visit to the local market on Wednesday mornings,a very interesting experience.Number 12 bus will take you there.

We were very impressed at the standard of cleanliness in the streets as well as the beach in Benidorm compared to many other resorts I have stayed in. As for the entertainment there was some there to suit all tastes. It was the very first time I had visited Benidorm but it most certainly wont be my last.

The beach was cleaned every night, the entertainment was great as usual, seemed to be a lot of rubbish not in the main areas that should be cleaned up better

benidorm in the winter months are full of people 50+, but they can still be rowdy, would hate to be here in the summer.the clubs still allow smoking and morgans the biggest is the worst, being a none smoker it affected me quite badly. there are also alot of muggins carried out mainly by romainian gypsies, you cant miss them, the girls all wear long skirts.the police were never around but they must know what is going on. the reps in resort warn you about the potatoe man the monkey man but not a word about the gypsies.the shops more or less sell the same tat only a few quality shops, but in the winter people go for the warmer weather and lovely beach, prom and great nightlife.

What can we say? It's the best night life I have experienced, bars open all night, stacks of entertainment (mainly tribute bands, comedians etc etc). Cater for all ages and those that like to have a good drink. Most nights taken up with a few drinks, see a few bands and then a walk down to Cafe Benidorm for a boogie.
Would recommend the Western Saloon Bar, top atmosphere and friendly staff. It's at the top end of the main street near the Playa Ambassador Hotel then walk down towards the old town from there. Fantastic.
Beach is OK too, the main beach is great but the other one at the old town side is supposed to better. Didn't get that far on our holiday.

Due to the location of the hotel, bit of a trek into the main resort, although abundance of bars on the way.
The beach was very close and right next to the buses and taxi rank.
Old town is great if you just want to wander and take in the archaic surroundings.
Shopping is also good as the main resort is more the typical tourist shops. Old town if you want to buy clothes etc.
