We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Not as many people as previous years and the British bars especially don't seem to be doing so well and are taking such desperate measures as Sticky Vicky etc to attract people in. Bad Move! The bars nearer the Melia seem to be doing better and some, such as The Tropical seem to be putting quite good "turns" on. The Morgan's Tavern also seems to have pinched trade from the older cabaret bars round the corner but good luck to them, it's cheaper, more air-conditioned and better acts.
Beach is still cleaned every night and beachfront is still a pleasant place to have a few beers and people watch after a hard day on the beach.

I would not reccomend Benidorm for people with young children.....the couple of places that we found doing this did not start untill 9pm and by that time most youngsters under 5 are ready for bed............there is a gap in the market for someone to put on kids entertainment from 6pm till 9pm.

Benidorm is clean - cleaner than most large towns in England anyway. The beaches are cleaned every day and the sea is shallow at the shore and you have to walk quite a way out to get any depth. You still get the odd amount of rubbish in the sea - but this is by lazy people who dont seem to be capable of taking their crap home with them or putting it in a bin. The nightlife is brilliant - something for everyone. Cafe Benidorm, Champions, Stardust, Rockys - all excellent with a variety of music played. There are some fantastic acts to be seen in this area as well - We saw a singer/comedian called Cheroot at Morgans Tavern - he was great, as was the guy who followed him - what a voice, Shaun Connnolly - what a great looking guy as well!!!. Very easy on the eye ladies!. The guy who does the Meatloaf tribute is good too. You can see these at Jokers, Morgans Tavern and Stardust. Well worth it. We visit Benidorm at least twice a year - September and November and we love it. We always have a laugh and some of the people you meet just seem to "Make" your holiday. Fond memories. Cant wait to return.

The cleanliness of the resort remains the same - you will always find men out cleaning along with shop staff prior to shops opening.
Resort Entertainment is and to me always has been great. Tony Scott, Danny Dean and Johnathan James stand out for me... tears running down my face. If your scottish and fancy a good scottish fry-up including square slice and tottie scones then you have to visit O'Leary's one street up from the indoor market.
Beach is cleaned in the evening and still remains a great beach.

This part of benidorm is the quieter area. It is away from the caberet clubs and disco bars. Not as much entertainment as the Levante end a lot more relaxed and newer. It is no problem if you want the nightlife though as it is only a short taxi ride away.(not too expensive either!)The cafe /bars were quite new and very welcoming, quite reasonably priced as well. Lovely clean beach and promenade, only prob was there was quite a bit of developing along the front, will be great when done. very clean resort overall and especially around the Grab Bali area.
