We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Morgans tavern is neptunes and a lot smaller than on TV good tribute act but once seen first week not much for second week
No way would we ever recommend this accommodation it's the worst hotel I have stayed at in Benidorm

Yes, Benidorm is very commercial, but whatever your tastes there are many things for you. If you are street wise, the resort can be the perfect place for you.
The young would no doubt consider the 'central square' on the Levante side to be perfect for them, although nearly everybody else avoids it. Discos, all night drinking, kebabs etc etc.
The shows and entertainment vary from spectaculor to seedy.
Whatever your taste in music or entertainment, you will probably find it, and in many cases with a nil entrance fee.
About 90% of the people who visit Benidorn, have visited at least once before, and this is an advantage.
Something for every one really says it all.
Beware conmen and beggars !!!!

the best way to describe benidorm is blackpool with sun.
bars for every taste, tribute bands to kareoke to quiz,s.
spent a few nights in rockerfellows for the bands, black chicken for kareoke.
the beach is only 2oo meters away, very clean and sunbeds only 2 euro.
a walk along the prom to the old town is a must,the sand sculptures are brill plus the many streets of the old town are amazing.

resort was dirty and smelly. the entertainment was brill plenty to do for all ages. loved the beach very clean just right. this was my second visit to benidorm and i cant wait 2 go again.

The hotel is in finestand which is more quite area so dont acept too many shops ect. Bus link is great and only 1 euro to any stop.

we just went up the road to the white horse and the plaza the staff there are all very friendly, and the drinks are cheap thanks to alan and all the staff,

The resort was spottless, the street cleaners were out every morning clearing up from the night before. The entertainment was amazing plenty to keep everyone happy lots of variety. The beach was great it was also very clean with life guards dotted about the resort. I would certainly encourage other people to have a holiday in Benidorm, I will be going back again. We went to Mundomar (dolphin park) and it was amazing, definetly worth a visit both adults and children will enjoy it.

The resort of La Cala is very quiet, with only a few small shops and resturants, mind you there was a nice big super mercado, which had most things you would need, and we found a chinese resturant which was very good, and a bar called Mamma Jays which kept us entertained with Karaoke most nights, but if you want plenty to do, you will need to travel a few miles to Benidorm, where there is plenty to do, if you jump on to a nunber 12 or 5 bus it would take you there for 1 euro, I would not come back to La Cala far to quiet for me.

Fourth time we have been to Benidorm and no other resort can match it,like everyone says something for everyone.As a family we are not into the night clubs etc and neither are we into sitting in dark clubs all night watching acts.But because there is so much to do you are never bored,from sitting at a beach side bar watching the world go by to a night safari at the terra natura.Honestly this resort is amazing.Now the down side of this resort the reps will tell you this but we saw it first hand.Some members of our party had gone to the square for a drink/dance and had not returned home by the time we said.My brother in law and I had to go here to find them at about 02:30 when we got there it was packed with Italians,Spanish and Gypsies and English girls/touts.This part is honestly true this did really happen,whilst at the square and walking home we saw a bloke being robbed and another mugged by the same group of romanians, the one that was mugged actually got away without them getting his possessions but he was then bricked and did have cuts all over his face and body.
The next day we were sat around the pool and my wife was telling some people about the incident and it turned out that this couple were mugged on their way home at 04:30 after being on a bar crawl with the reps a few days earlier,The girls boyfreind was about 6"2 he was approached by a black bloke of the same height then another 5 jumped him from the back, his wife could not do a thing,they managed to take his jewellery but he had the hotel key,safe key and his wallet in his pocket which they did not get.The police were not interested.These muggers are the same ones who do this night after night the police know who they are,but because it is always the english/brits that are attacked they could not care less.I have talked to people at the resort who have come to Benidorm for 20 years and have never seen anything of this nature.so have your wits about you in the square and yellow brick road area or just dont entertain this resort as the spanish do not like us and the immigrants just want to rob us.
