We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

I was very pleasantly surprised by Benidorm. I have never had any inclination to visit the town, but did so on this break as it was the only destination which satisfied our dates and availability criteria.
The area, although hardly steeped in history, had some very pleasant aspects, especially the Old Town. The restaurants were good and there was lots of local produce to savour.
The beach was clean and the boat trip to Benidorm Island was invigorating. Lots of flora and fauna to be seen, but take the blurb that there is a restaurant and bar on the island with a pinch of salt. There is a pleasant little cafe which serves drinks, but don't go for the culinary experience.
There are free sightseeing trips to various attractions but we didn't know until we were actually on the bus that these are organised by a firm who sell mattresses and you are their captive audience for three hours en route to the original destination.
It's very cheap and easy to get a local bus to most of the attractions. Altea Market, which is on Tuesdays is well worth a visit as it has some good quality goods and the atmosphere is fun. Ask for a Wah wah bus!
Benidorm market is on Sunday mornings and although quite small compared to Altea is worth a visit.
For the fashion conscious, there is a really well-stocked Zara, which is one of the biggest I've seen, and, unlike some other Spanish resorts there are some shops stocking good quality fashion with designer names.
A pleasant resort, but wouldn't visit again, not because of any unpleasant experience, but because we saw as much as we wished.

Enjoyed our holiday in Benidorm. Great entertainment everywhere we went.
Found it immpossible to find a decent restraunt in the Levante area. Went to Tapas Alley in the old town,Cavas Aragones- amazing food and a welcome alternative to pub grub and greasy spoons.
Beach was nice, water felt warmer than our hotel pool.
As I said we did enjoy Benidorm, but won't be a repeat visitor. It was great for a late summer holiday and very, very cheap.

The area around the hotel, known as the square was quite dirty in the mornings but put this down to the fact clubs are open until 8, so not a lot of time to clean up before early birds start using the area.
Entertainment for all ages.
Beach fantastic absolutely spotless.

Benidorm is not for familys, all down the paths are dirty and broke. But the beach was nice and if you go out of the hotel and left and walk down there that is were the nice stuff/shops is.

Resort is very clean, with street cleaning and sweeping going on all night.
Resort entertainment is very varied and caters for all tastes (this is Benidorm!!)
Beach is very clean and is swept each night!!
No problem at this time of the year with sunbeds, these cost 4 euro per bed.
Would not go to Benidorm as my main holiday in August for example, as I can imagine it being very overcrowded and a bit too frantic for me. October suits us just fine as its not too busy and we're usually one of the youngest families at the resort!!

Benidorm has 2 large very good beaches Levante and Poniente spilt by the old town in the middle. Poniente at the southern end i found the quietest and nicest.Get a cab to the old town and stroll around the small streets and Tapas bars. Also dont swim in the sea after a heavy rain storm it cost me 3 days of my holiday last year spent ill in bed.

Where we were was lovely and clean. The beaches were clean.
Bars had very basic entertainment-bingo or quizzes, not for kids.
New Benidorm is very scruffy and the shows are the same as we saw 7 years ago when we last visited.
La cala is a very relaxed and beautiful cove.I would definately go back next year.
