We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Lots of graffitti (art???) around and lots of boxes on pavements, some with rotting food, waiting to be lifted by binmen. Noticeably NO dog's dirt lying around.
There's entertainment everywhere and guaranteed something to suit everyone's taste.
The beach area is just wonderful. The sand is turned over daily, cleaners walk round picking up rubbish, and the charge is €4 each for a sunbed and a separate €4 for umbrella, making it 12 euros for 2 beds and sunshade.
The promenade at night is beautiful, so well lit up and attractive.
I will definately return to Benidorm.

Well what can you say about Benidorm there’s something for everybody a fab place, great beach (flat) 100's of bars, clubs shops.
Very good comics singers plus other acts never home before 3am for a nightcap in John and J's for 3 euros large beer and a Irish coffee great value for money.
Lots of free trips to villages you don’t have to by anything.
Beware of bandits when changing your money; many shops will say we pay 150 to 155 euro to the pound plus no commission, yes that true, if you change £2000 pounds!!!!
Go to the indoor market to Shelia’s or rays both pay what it says on the sign (recommended by tourist board).

People love or hate Benidorm, and if you love it, you really love it to bits!!! I thought the resort was a bit dirtier than on previous visits, but the beach was always immaculately clean. There is so much to see and do in Benidorm, and everything is still really reasonable, although we did notice a few price increases since our visit in May. You cannot go wrong at Los Amigos Chinese Restaurant (near the Ambassador Hotel) for a fabulouse meals, but if you prefer more traditional style British food then Foodland (opposite Gigolo's nightclub) is superb, and the service very quick and polite. The restaurant and wash rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the food is fantastic. Lots good artists to see in the night clubs, but my favourites are singer Wesley Phillips, drag act Rose Peters and last but certainly not least comedian Gary George - we usually see him in Sandra's. We also saw a Cher tribute which was very good, and two girls who perform as Fever who were also very good.

The front prom in Benidorm is superb but something should be done about the state of the pavements which need loads of repairs on the streets directly behind the prom and beyond, and the problem with dog dirt is extreme and the blame for this is aimed at local people.

Its a very lively resort with something for all ages the beach is one of the cleanest and the prom stretches from one end from Benidorm to the other.
At night there are plenty of clubs bars all with entertainment you will never be stuck for things to do the evenings.

Loved benidorm. Plenty to do for all ages.
It does get a bit rowdy at night but that's to be expected. Most bars have good security on doors and some of the bar entertainment is first class.
The beach is very crowded but is lovely and once you've got your sunbed you don't really notice all the people.
Only been twice before but will be going back!

The resort of Benidorm is beautiful & clean, the beaches are the cleanest ive ever seen. The shops are the absolute pits, full of chinese crap, flashing headbands & cuddly things that shout out "I Love You, I Love You" everytime you walk past which by the end of your holiday sends you insane!!
Mundamar is a must, its a wonderful place,as is the waterpark Aqualanda a brill fun day out but beware of all the hidden costs once you enter, you pay for the ring to take you down the slides & the sunbeds.
In the square where all the nightlife is is brilliant,we saw some of the funniest comedians, "Stardust" is one of the best, try & catch Tony Scott he was hilarious,Davy Royal, oldy but funny & Chrissy Rock A female comedian who is brilliant, Mike St John was embarrasingly crap!!
The square itself is filthy, littered with flyers which you are forever getting thrust in your hand, bottles, food thrown allover. The British are true litter louts & just chuck everything on the floor, the bins are all fit to burst but they are emptied every night. There are beggars sat on the streets asking for money & they all have a puppy with them which really peeves me & played on my mind after i saw them
(they know how to work us English Animal Lovers)
I personally gave them nothing as at the end of a successful scrounging night they jump in a TAXI & go home... Get A Job
Saying this, the square is the place to be,its brill.
I think the drinks are watered down in a lot of the pubs/clubs as most night id had a fair few but was still as sober as a judge, the one night i was tipsy was after a chinese meal which we got half a bottle of wine free with each,i was a happy bunny that night.
A week was long enough for me,it was a true girly holiday away from our husbands & watching the other groups of ladies & men, they were doing the same.

Fantastic place to visit. I can understand it's either a place you love or hate.....but me and my friends love it. This was only our second visit, but we love it.
Our weather was great for the time of year, but I'm sure there would be something for everyone if the weather wasn't up to scratch.
It's such a massive resort - you'd be hard pushed not to find something to entertain you.

Benidorm is definitely the place to go for entertainment! It's got something for everyone whatever their age.Comedians, singers, violinists, rock music.dancers bingo, karaoke, quiz nights and of course Sticky Vicky. We went to Western Saloon Bar every night between 10 and midnight to see the J&D Brothers who play great guitar.Joe is a Scot from Ayrshire with great weegie banter and quite a bit of swearing but it's not offensive and Fabio is from Argentina and he is a fantastic guitarist.Rockerfellers is another good night out,we seen two guys singing Status Quo songs and they were good aswell.Jailrock,Top Cabaret,The Harp,The Shamrock and Talk of the Coast were all places we went to regularly. The drinks are reasonably priced and they are very generous with the measures! The beach is beatiful, spotlessly clean but a bit pricey when you are paying 4 euros each every day for a sunbed. We spent our days at the beach rather than at the pool at the apartments because we reckoned we would get a better tan at the beach ha ha.Bad points though are all the beggars who come out at night and sit on the pavements with their begging bowls, there are loads of them but dont be taken in by their sob stories because quite a few of them have dogs with them and they are healthy, well fed looking dogs so obviously they come from a good home, and are not at all homeless.b est just to ignore them altogether. For eating out you honestly cannot go wrong. The meals we had were all lovely and we went to quite a few different places.Yorkshire Pride was the biggest portions but I can honestly say you wont get a bad meal anywhere.Have fun!!!!
