Just arrived back from Calella after staying at this hotel for a week.

Hotel is lovely, clean and big. Rooms are cleaned daily.

Restuarant is of a good size but the food lets it down, there is plenty to choose from but the food is cold or luke warm and pork is on the menu every day and there is no cards or pictures to tell you what the food is.

Entertainment is poor. In the bar you get served drink in plastic glasses which gets used time and time again.

We were transferred to this hotel due to an overbooking at our original choice. The hotel was superb. The rooms were spotless. Towels changed every day. The food was lovely, the best we've had and everything was very clean. Sunbeds on the room with 3 hot tubs.it was great. We would definitely go back to this hotel again.

We stayed all inclusive at this hotel. Its a H Top Hotel, so you can use the other H Top Hotels in the area using your all inclusive card. There is also free transport to all the other hotels in the H Top Group.

You must book in advance as it gets fully booked up. I t was the best food we have had at an A/I Spanish hotel and we have done a lot. Large variety to choose from every meal time and also a separate grill where the chef cooked in-front of you. It was very good. There were salads, fruit mostly fresh some tinned. Lots of meats and fish. Also kids choices i.e fish fingers, chick nuggets. Couldn't fault it.

The rooms were very clean and the cleaners were lovely. Towels changed daily. Our room had 2 queen sized beds, also with extra bed underneath. So when we fell out there was another choice. Flat screened TV, hairdryer, beautiful and spotless.

The hotel was up a slight slope from the beach which took about 10 Min's to walk slowly, that's if you weren't tempted with all the shops.

There was a good range of shops selling anything from dove false tan (for when the weather isn't good)to clothes, perfumes and food. Lots of eating places to be found through the narrow streets and a beautiful church, well worth a visit.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, a bit too friendly if you weren't careful. But all in all lovely people.

The entertainment wasn't up our street every night but some of it was great. There is an adult bar, so if you want to get away from the kids you can.

The pool is a good size and kids are well catered for. There are also sunbeds on the roof which is ADULT ONLY with hot tubs, which is lovely if you want to relax peacefully.

A must trip is to Barcelona and the fountains. You get 5 hrs in Barcelona, you must take an open top bus sightseeing tour, which enables you to get off and on at your leisure.

A must is the Gaudi Sagrada Famillia. What an experience and sight worth seeing. Then to finish the day with fountains all lit and dancing to music, very romantic.

We enjoyed our holiday and will definitely return to this hotel. We are tempted to go back at Xmas as the management inform us that its going to be a good party week to celebrate Xmas and the refurbishment which is a job well done.

We had just arrived at the hotel when it had only just opened. The first impression that it looked a nice hotel. We checked in with no problem even though a lot of people in front of us had been moved to another hotel at the top 3 floors were still not finished.

Oyr room was on the 1st floor so not many stairs to climb. They have 2 fligts inside the hotel and also a glass fight on the outside of the hotel.

The room we had, had 2 double beds and also a bed that you could pull out. The room was big and we had plenty of room. The bathroom was also big. The only problem we had was that the balcony door didnt lock and you could open this from the outside. It took them 4hrs to get somebody to fix it. Also the maids kept leaving the balcony door open and also our main door into our room open. With us being on the 1st floor you could climb in through the balcomy from the road that we over looked. The main bedroom door you have to make sure that you slam it shut otherwise it just reopens.

The food was fantasitc and plenty of it. There are plent of salad items, meat, fish and pasta. Chips were on every day but you also had 2 other choices of potatoes as well as fresh vegetables. At the top end of the dining room they had a people cooking fresh meat and fish. Also plenty to choose for your dessert. The busiest times for breakfast was 0930 -1000, lunch 1415 - 1500 and dinner 2015 - 2100. Try to avoid these times especially at dinner.

The hotel was very clean inside and out.

Sunbeds are crammed in together round the pool area and if you havent got your towels down by 0900 you couldnt get a bed. There is also a little baby pool near the reception area with also a few beds and chairs. The sun terrace on the roof had only just opened before we left. this is for over 18 only. Up there are plenty of beds, a bar and 2 jacuzzi pools. Dowstairs in the basement there are jacuzzi and saunas, also a gym, kids club, table tennis and also the bowling alley which was still full of rubbish and plastic bags so wasnt open while we stayed.

The entertainment was awful. Mini kids disc stated at 9pm sometimes on the notice board they advised you the entertainment was a surprise. This was either a quiz but if you sat near the back you couldnt hear anything, the animation team doing a dance routine which was like watching your kids put on a show for you. During our stay we saw 1 night of entertainment that was worth watching and that was out of 14nights. During the day there were no queue for the drinks but once evening came the queue's started. The maximum you get get is 2 drinks per adult and 1 drink per child per person. During the day the drinks are served in pastic cups and a night they are served in glasses. You can pay extra and get named brands of drink.

The hotel staff were very friendly.

Arrived on 6th to find only 2 floors were ready. Waited 3 hours got room on 3rd floor. Builders everywhere mess everywhere. Loads of mishaps were caused by the builders.

The hotel is on a slight hill so its quite a walk up back from the beach.

The food was lovely no complaints there.

We had to move to another hotel on the wednesday due the building work and safety of our children and the hotel not being what we paid for (4 stars).

Most of the pool is in the shade in the morning. If the hotel is full there will not be enough space around the pool.

Kids club ????? What kids club???????? Same for the Entertainment.

Maybe when finished it would be nice but due to size and location we will not be returning.

All the staff in the hotel were very courteous and children friendly. The hotel was very clean and the food was excellent, with a (very good ) selection of food. The bar staff kept the queues moving during busy times.

Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel has only been opened properly for three weeks and provided a very good value for money all inclusive packages especially with the option to visit other hotels within the same group on the courtesy bus.

The entertainment was ok but I think this is an area where they can improve.

I would recommend the hotel and would certainly go back again.

Was quite worried before we went, thinking the hotel wouldn't be finished, but we had a brilliant time and would recommend it to all ages.

We weren't happy with the interconnecting rooms we were given originally because we had two teenagers with us and they wanted a bit more privacy. Quick visit to reception and we were given alternative rooms within a couple of hours. Rooms are very spacious and clean, lots of wardrobe space, air con, British TV.

I thought the food was the best I've had on all inclusive Spanish hol. Lots of choice, freshly cooked meats and fish, salads, cooked meats, pasta. Desserts weren't quite so varied and there were no hot dishes but loads of prepared fresh fruit - melon, pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, peaches etc.

We had no trouble finding sunbeds but if you have no kids with you there is a fantastic roof top terrace with plenty of space. This was one thing that slightly annoyed me actually. We paid full price for our 16 year olds yet they weren't allowed on the roof top, the indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, or gym, neither were they allowed to take part in the daytime activities (18 and over). Never come across this problem before, so if you have teenagers be aware that they will have to entertain themselves much of the time.

The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Entertainment at night consisted of mini disco for 20 minutes followed by some kind of show. No bingo! I think they could definitely improve on the entertainment but there is a family bar (White Horse) just a couple of minutes away which we used quite a lot.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday and we would definitely return
