Location
On first impressions the hotel seemed clean. the staff were very friendly and we began to enjoy our holiday greatly.
The entertainment during the day was excellent and varied from water polo to its a pool knock-out (various pool side games which i enjoyed immensely)
The entertainers were fun and seemed more than ready to have fun.
The evening entertainment was not the best i have ever seen, however, there was the choice of staying up in the rooms to watch various DVDs which were put on by the hotel.
The rooms were kept clean and i advise a trip to the roof terrace for some peace and quiet, although the hotel wasn't too bad for noise we felt that the walls could have been thicker.
The food wasn't to bad but became repetitive and by the end of the week we were glad that we would be getting a change of food.
The hotel was situated not far from the beach and if you didn't mind a 10-15 minute walk there was a lovely bit of beach surrounded with cliffs, the sea was clean as was the beach and we enjoyed our stay on the beach that day.
All in all I enjoyed my holiday and would consider returning to the hotel

Without doubt the biggest problem is the thickness of the walls....not helped by the utter scum either side, nay, all around you making the noise.
I would urge anyone to cancel if they have booked this place. You'd be better off loosing the money and staying at home...
food Ok, staff OK (consdiering who they have to deal with).

The rooms are very basic with no air conditioning so it was very difficult to sleep but then the walls are so thin it was hard to sleep anyway due to the noise of other holiday makers being drunk and kids screaming but after you have a few yourself you sleep like a log.
The hotel is for families and they do have alot on for the kids not so mucht he adults but you could have a laugh.
We were there for 2 weeks and the evening entertainment was repeated so we saw 2-3 times but the first time its goods.
The entertainment in the day for adults was water-polo which is fun and a quiz if you want to chill out.
The food was absolutely atrocious we had to spend more money on eating out which i recommend gringo joe's round the corner which is all english and the food is gorgeous and its cheap, but couldn't fault drinks at the hotel they were always filled quite generously with alcohol accept being given plastic cups uo until 8:30pm when we was given glass ones.
I would never go all inc again this hotel put me off of doing that again.
The location of the hotel was great near everthing. I dont know what to say about the staff really all but the bar staff hardly cracked a smile and when they spoke they were rude, the entertainers do try and involve you but with the kids they are quite rude the way they talk to them sometimes and get impatient very easy.
But all in all they entertainers do work hard and are ok.
All in all I would never ever go back to this hotel!!!!

I did get a late minute cheap holiday and you certainly get what you pay for.
We arrived at 10.30 in the morning and was told we were not allowed all inclusive until midday. This was no major problem but as we sat by the pool a young lad decided it was clever to spit at people on the ground (he was at least 4 floors up on his balcony) (yuk) - great first impression.
Once we were finally allowed to our rooms - the bath was awful - all the enamel had come off the bottom and looked as though it had not been cleaned for months - makes me feel sick thinking about it now.
The walls were very thin and there was a great deal of noise late a night - we unfortunately had a room backing on to the road and this was also very noisy.
Food - was very poor - yes lots of chips - not much selection - they did have rabbit!
The pool was very busy and noisy.
The hotel staff seemed friendly enough - however we did not spend a great deal of time there.
We did visit the beach everyday - I found beach very quiet and relaxing - would return to Costa Brava but would not stay in this Hotel again.

Hotel was clean enough,
Food is what you get for the price you pay and we always found something to eat that was warm and edible...
Location of the hotel isnt great (right beside the main road into the hills).
Did not have too much trouble with the staff...be nice to them and they will be nice to you.
The entertainment was what you would expect at a Butlins/Pontins resort back in the 80's.
Overall the hotel was ok apart from the paper thin walls, (i had to have a stern but quiet word with the german teenager next room at 5 am)the dated 70's decor (i am sure it will come back into fashion some day)...there is no aircon in the rooms.
Apparantly this hotel is having an upgrade this autumn and going for a 4 star which is simply laughable in its current condition it is barely 2 star.
On the plus side you do get full access to all the other H top hotels on the strip the Amaika in Calella and the Pineda Palace being the 2 decent hotels......if you do go here one recommendation...do go to Barcelona..it is quite impressive.
