Food ok but on AI basis the snacks promised during day turned out to be leftovers from previous meal or preview of meal to come - ie not snacks as we know it!
As always with these buffet meals they get repetitive but are still edible.
Kids entertainment was on all day and most of evening, but cabaret turns (duo/magician/dancers) on every night and were very good. Only complaint was that bar looked and felt like working mans club, and if you didn't get in early you could not get near the front for family's who had been there earlier for the kids show.
Queues at bar could get quite long - 10/15 mins to get a drink.
Best feature for us was adults only roof terrace with bar and 3 jaccuzzis and barman who would have no exceptions to no kids rule. Downside was that parasols were set out on tables not at sunbeds, but it worked out ok. Pool downstairs did not get full sun until later in day so was cold.

Upon arrival, for us this was at 4.30am, you have to have your photo taken for you all inclusive ID card. This is not explained to you until the welcome meeting. We had a few families with small children and obviously after 8 hours travelling the children (and us adults) were very tired and very aggravated.
During May, students from all over Spain come to stay at the hotel. They were very noisy and insisted on taking over the hotel. They would throw things from their balconies at other holiday makers, climb over the balcony partitions (even on the 6th floor) and were in general unbearable.
There were also a great deal of English children at the hotel. The locals call the hotel

We went to the welcome meeting and were given some brochures to local sights and attractions which looked good but were a bit of a let down.(barcelona express) the coach driver went round in circles which took us an extra 40 mins to get there, and then he expected the passengers to tip him.
We got to barca and only ended up having 3 and a 1/2 hours there when we had paid for some aquarium tickets aswell which we didn't have much time to see as much as we'd have liked.( it's cheaper and quicker to go by train. And you can come back when you want!)
The rep didn't tell us this when he was taking our money! I also tried to complain about an upset stomach from the food to the rep he said that I'd been eating out in local restaurants and that was what probably made me ill.
I wasn't given the chance to put my complaint into writing.
The food was so poor that I wouldn't feed my dogs on it. We had to eat out most days and ended up using a large amount of our holiday money on eating out. This is not something you want to do when you've spent a lot of money on an all inclusive holiday!
The walls in the rooms are quite thin and this is a very loud hotel!
Whilst we were there, there was some type of youth volleyball comp going on in calella so the hotel was full foulmouthed, rude and very noisy teenagers.
The drinks in the bar were o.k but you had to pay for mainstream spirits and cocktails. The barstaff were very unhelpful and looked as if they didn't want to be there.
All in all this hotel is very poor and I wouldn't reccomend it to anybody... at all!

The walls were so thin you could hear every thing in the next room and I mean everything.
If we had known this was used for German and Spanish 18 - 20's holidays we would have gone elsewhere.
They were throwing things from the balconies which progressed to spitting and other bodly functions,

The room was dark and dingy and smelt. It was too late at night for them to move us. Next morning we opened our curtain to find the balcony door did not shut or lock properly we were also on the level looking out to the road. The grass patch beyond our balcony was littered with rubbish and a few pairs of pants!got moved to another room after much complaining. Found the rooms very noisy at night people running up and down corridors and in and out of each others rooms.
Staff not very pleasant. Food ok plenty of fresh fruit.its not far to walk to shops.
Would I holiday here again....no. Went to Barca on the train very cheap. Would recommend - its lovely took a sightseeing bus which you can jump on and off at various sites some lovely old buildings and Barca football stadium

We thought the food and entertainment were good especially for the price we paid!
The hotel rooms were basic but the were always clean and we didn't spend much time in them anyway. We were on holiday and wanted to have a good time!
The hotel is in a great location as you can walk to the beach shops and bars!
I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!!

The hotel entertainment was really good especially the Disco we all got up and boogied to that, it was so good going all inclusive didn't have to worry about taking money around with you all the time.
The rooms were basic but clean and the food was very good. I loved the location being located so near to all the shops. Another good thing was to be able to share the sister hotels facilities.
Everyone was very friendly and we made friends with loads of people young and old I dont think I have laughed quite as much for a long time. I would definaltley consider returning.
