Avoid if you want an All Inclusive holiday and don't want to pay for anything as this hotel charges by the minute it seems for anything they want to.
Do not stay here.. Worst ever so called hotel I have stayed in

Take an empty water bottle with you down to breakfast and fill it up, saving you having to buy water for the day.

Fenals is a lovely resort, quite but very clean, with several lovely cafes and enough shops for your gifts for home.
Felt very safe here,as the local people are all very friendly and helpful.

We went out of season so it wasn't too busy, although there was some large cycling tournament on which made it a bit busier.
The streets were clean and free of litter and i witnessed street cleaners working hard regularly.
There was plenty to do in the resort for all including quiet restaurants, nightclubs, mini golf etc.
There were plenty of trips to do. We went into Barcelona to see some attractions using the train, which was cheap and handy and didn't take too long.
We walked on the beach a lot and it was lovely, nice and sandy. It was very clean at this time of year but i can imagine it being very crowded in high season.
I would go again, but out of season to a quality hotel.

For starters we only put 2 for the beach as its mostly shingles along the coast of Costa Brava.
March is not peak season so the pedlows & boat trips are not running, there is an aqua park but again only open peak season.
There is Bucking bronco, bumper cars, tatoos & hair braiding for chilren & we managed to locate a mini fair by the bus station.
There are markets in different locations daily but we missed them all due to the fact that some of our family members were out partying all nite in just a few of Lorets many clubs, Robin-Hood, Mobys, Texas Bar & Tropics.
We did go to a Medeival Show & Flamenco @ the Gran Palace, the first half of the show was dull but it was still worth it as the second half was really good. The medeival show was better but we would advise you to have a few drinks & something to eat before you go as althogh you get potato soup, & a whole chicken thats it nothing else, literally not even a spoon, knife or fork so if your a vegetarian like me your left to drink the wine which is like drinkng turps, not that Ive ever drunk turps.
Our Hotel was situated just across the road from The Hungry Horse Cafe/bar where the food was yummy & the staff lovely & great with the kids. They sell burgers, pizzas, chicken & a selection of ice creams & they stay open to 3am if you fancy a drink but not a mad one its the place to go.
We went on an excursion to Barcelona which we did enjoy but we didnt make it to the port/harbour & man made beach which I wish we had as there was nothing in the centre for the children to do.

Lloret is a lively resort even out of season. There appears to be ample nightlife with bars restaurants and clubs all in close proximity.
The clean beach is shingle but holidaymakers should be aware that bathing is dangerous for young children and the inexperienced due to the deep shelf that sits just off the shoreline

Being winter there was not a lot open but the walk down to the beach was nice and the area was clean. I should imagine in the summer the place is buzzing with holidaymakers but it just wasn't my sort of thing.

Loret-de-mar is anice small resort. In the high season I imagine it would be a nice place to visit for a short break.

Typical Spanish resort full of old people in November.Lots of evil looking north africans hanging around street corners and all the shops are run by indians selling the same old rubbish you get all over Spain.
Lots of resturants selling their "international cuisine".I just wanted to taste some typical spanish food but its not easy to find.
The sea front looked like an open air brothel on Saturday night with the nice eastern european ladies giving any male who walked by a good look at what was on offer. My wife was not impressed!!
