The resort front is seperated by a railway line, the staion being in Santa Susannah for Blanes-Barcelona.
The main street features from the newly developed area of the resort up and into Malgrat, lots of those spanish tat shops.
Not a great deal of entertainment around other than at the hotels.
The beach is accessible by underpass through the railway and is well maintained and kept, that is whjere the plaudits end, the sand is coarse and uncomfortable to the bare feet, it was overcrowded the day we visited and for children it is dangerous due to the sharp shelving and then quite deep sea on entrance.
If you have seen the TV programme Benidorm, you will see the stereotypes here too.
In a corny way I would return.

The toen does it's best to cater with the visitors - many of whom do not care as much as they should and drop litted when litter bins are plentiful. SHAME

The hotel is located about five minute walk from the beach you have to cross train lines to get there though which we were never told about. Santa sussanah is a lovely place to visit would recommend a trip into barcelona you can get a train there which takes about an hour. The train station is about a fifteen minute walk away it cost us 6 euro each return tickets to go there under 4's free. Would recommend the "station pub" across the road from hotel lovely food and very friendly staff. For night time entertainment try the "tahiti playa" hotel where there is entertainment on every night to keep the kids entertained.

Santa Susanna is lovely, extremely clean and very lively as well. It is a good resort for young and old.

The market is on the main promenade on a Tuesday and the train station is very near by so you can visit other places as well.

This was my first time visiting this resort and would definately go back again.

Good, clean and tidy resort, lovely beach, good train link to other resorts and Barcelona. You are right next door to Malgrat. Good market on Tuesdays.

Resort was clean and safe.
Entertainment was good never stuck for anything to see.
Found a friendly pub called The Ship just round the corner from the hotel.
Beach was good although a bit hard on the feet.
Had a massage on the beach for 10 euros, really worth the money.
Will be going back to Santa Susana

You either have to use the underpass or foot bridge to get to the resort itself very scruffy (nappies in plastic bags, dead birds, smashed bottles, empty cans etc), not very pleasant to look at. There are market stalls all along the street selling lots of different things, and plenty of supermarkets if you are self-catering. Not many bars to just sit and have a drink, all selling food and ice-cream etc.

The resort was clean and quiet. As we had the kids we did not go out at night so I dont know what the night life was like. There was a good variety of tourist shops and the beach is straight opposite the shops. Everything is on hand. There was street markets in the evenings which were interesting and you can get a bargain in any stall or shop if you can haggle the price!! The wee train will take you on a trip up the mountains which is lovely. We went to marineland for the day approx £50 for 5. It is a great day out and kids no problem sleeping that night. The beach is lovely and big but watch there is a big drop when you go in water after about 15yards where it gets deep quickly! If you want a drink I would suggest to walk across road as beer on beach 5euro but in bar 100yards away 2euros! train will aslo take you to shops and beach from hotel for free.
