no beach. no views. on a dual carriageway. surrounded by building works. no where to go if raining. no entertainment.

Santa Susana is a quiet resort- A continuation of Malgrat where there are shops pubs and resteraunts.Clean shingle beach.
Hotel entertainments only. Very convenient for trains to neaby resorts and Barcelona.

THE RESORT OF SANTA SUSSANA IS A REALLY NICE PLACE WITH PLENTY TO DO AND SEE ITS VERY FLAT SO EXCELLENT FOR WHEEL CHAIRS ,,, THIER IS A MOBILITY SHOP CLOSE BUY WERE YOU CAN HIRE ..WHEEL CHAIRS PRAMS OR MOBILTY SCOOTERS ...

The resort was very clean and having woken very early one morning, saw street cleaning machines out, clearing up. There are plenty of eateries, catering for every need. The beach is cleaned every morning and although the hotel was on the beach, the machines did not waken us. The resort was fairly quiet but livened up on Saturday and Sunday when weekenders arrived in droves and the locals were all out walking. This was our third stay in Santa Susanna and we look forward to another. It is so easy to get to Barcelona from the resort as the railway station is very close by and the trains run every half hour.

Resort was clean tidy and friendly. Loved walking through the shops which are open late beware of people trying to talk you in to there shops lol.

The resort was very clean. There is not much depth to Santa Susanna and so there is nowhere to walk except into Malgrat one way or towards Pineda the other, although admittedly it was a pleasant promenade.
Access to the beach is through a tunnel under the railway.
There was not a lot of entertainment but perhaps that was because it was early in the season.
Didn't go on the beach much but it was ok, very coarse sand.

The resort itself was absolutely fine and I would go back as there are some nice hotels to be found especially down at the beachfront area

I can't really comment on the beaches bt when we went to Barcelona on the train we rode past all the beaches and they looked gorgeous but obviously as it was tipping with rain we didn't visit them.

Santa Susanna is a fairly busy resort with everything you need.
If you continue walking down the main street for around 15mins you will end up in Malgrat. There are market stalls down the main street in the evening. Access from the train station to Barcelona is very easy, 1hr down the coast and 6 euros.
Also you can have a nice ride on the mini mountain train ride. (not really a mountain...just some big hills)
Would recomend this resort.

Did not see any litter anywhere. Only tried a couple of hotel entertainments which were ok but nothing special. One good point though, there were no crowds of drunken revellers. Could be because it was late in the season or that the resort is too quiet for younger people. We walked across one beach which looked very clean but we didn't spend the day there. Would visit again.
