Like Tossa De Mar - lots of narrow streets with shops and bars. Beach is shale which wasn't suitable for a 5 year old travelling with us. Castle good and worth the trek to the top for the views.

Tossa is still a spanish small town with a wonderful atmosphere.
A good and balanced mix of the very old and the new, without a sense of over development.
Very few English about, but many Spaniards on holiday, it all added up to great time.
Go and enjoy it. I hope to again.

Tossa is a stunning holiday destination for those who are looking for a quiet holiday in very scenic surroundings.
The old town has quaint narrow streets, lots of quiet bars and restaurants and beautiful views from the elevated areas on the city walls.
This is not the place to come to if you are looking for lively night life but if you are looking for a Spanish resort with some character then this is the place.
This was our first visit but we will definately be back. We loved it!

Lovely resort with loads of pretty pavement cafes/bars/restaurants. Very Spanish. I never thought I'd say this but I would have really liked to find a good English bar. Beach is shingly but clean and the sea is deep almost immediately.

What a lovely town, a walk up to the castle gives a panoramic view of the town, well worth the climb. The shops a very good and the locals very friendly. Lots of clothes and shoe shops to keep the wife happy. The 'Splash' boat ride is well worth the money. The small beach and cove, to the south of the castle, is great for swimming. There are thousands of fish, and rocks to climb on. Tossa is quiet, but a busy town. In the evening there are all sorts of street artists in the town squares, well worth a look.

as we were all inclusive really didnt go into Tossa much so cant really comment, except kids didnt like the beach

the resort itself was lovely with only a 5 min bus ride into tossa where there are loads of shops to look round.

Tossa deMar is a beautiful old fashioned and unspoilt town.My wife and I have been going for many years and love it. No yobs ,no bang,bang,bang.Just peace.

This resort is absolutely brilliant. It has something for all ages, doesn't have the "lager lout/ idiot" factor and has the archetectual interest factor that will appeal to everyone.
Great restaraunts/ bars/ beaches / people in general.......great place and will definitely go back
