On arrival at Hotel Fuengirola Park i was pleasantly
suprised & pleased with the state of the reception & bar areas. They were clean & tidy and reasonable of a
3 star hotel. We did however request a pool/sea view and booked in January 04 to give plenty of time for this but on entering our room it faced a road.
We asked to be moved and they did place us in a room over looking pool/beach with no moaning so can't really
complain.
Rooms were ok, air con a god send. Walls were paper
thin though! Cleaners in everyday too.
Only draw back was you had to put your entry card in the slot to activate electric but on the last day we sussed any credit card sized card worked so you could leave the air con on while you were out so you did'nt have to wait the hour or so for the room to cool!

The downsides are that the corridors smelt a bit funky & resturant staff were far from friendly, saw a few people going flying from staff dragging large trolleys through at high speed.

All in all i can honestly say i would stay again even though a few faults.

I chose this holiday from the Internet, i used a search engine. I cant remember which one because I spent ages doing it. I needed to find a holiday that was affordable and in the right location for my girls. This being probably the one and only time we would have the chance to spend some time together for a long while.

The price I paid was not bad for the time of year

Me and my partner went here in August 2004, when first arriving at the hotel I thought "Oh my god what have we done?" it looked terrible from driving up in the bus. It was not until we went into the hotel that I thought "Very nice indeed" We were on the 2 floor because of my partners back problem.

We went on half board basis and found the food excellent varied every night to suit different tastes.

When we did go for dinner it was the Spanish holiday, we found not to go down for dinner any later than 8pm or there was pandamoniam on.

We found the hotel spotless maid service was excellent.

The staff were helpful.

The entertainment was good after the 2 hours of bingo which was very funny to watch.

We went with First Choice holidays and the rep that was in our hotel he could not do enough for us.

We are looking to going back to this hotel next year but this time we're taking the kids with us because we found so much in Fuengarola that the kids would love it.

The beach is only 5 minutes from hotel we enjoyed so much we even recommended it to our friend and she has booked up for next year with her son.

Just back after a week in the Fuengirola Park Hotel and really enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and air conditioning system was great. First time I ever woke in the morning feeling cold. Food was of a good standard and we all really enjoyed it. Pool was ok but you can use the pool at the neighbouring hotel but beach is 5 mins walk which was handy. Bit far from Fuengirola town but there is a good bus service and train service all within 5 mins walk from hotel. Would definitely go back there again.

In a good position in the Torreblanca area of Fuengirola, the hotel is near to the beach (by way of an underpass) and just minutes from the railway station which gives access to the whole of the coastal towns and resorts.
Self service breakfast very good with plenty choice ie., 4/5 choices of bread, butter or spread, jams, cold meats, cheese, two juices, three cereals, figs, fresh fruits, yoghurt, eggs-fried,boiled & scrambled, bacon, sausage, black pudding, tomatoes fried potatoes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate plus other continetal type beakfast foods. And as much of it as you can eat!!
Dinner was of equally good quality and choice. Try the prawns and various fish dishes!
The 'plate shortage' Weds. dinner was a direct result of the many breakages caused by staff who regularly dropped large tray fulls on the marble floor. CRRRRRAAAAAASSSSHHHH!! Fine 'em or Sack 'em.
The hotel was very clean considering the number of people staying that week and our room was spotless. We got fresh towels every day, and we hung our wet towels up!! Extra, very clean blankets stored in wardrobe and extra pillows arrived pronto.
Staff were all very friendly and obliging.
We cannot comment on entertainment as it is not our cup of tea, so never experienced.
Pool clean BUT,the tiling around it has lifted and is uneven, with holes big enough to trap or cut little feet and toes. BEWARE!
We stayed at Fuengirola Park after reading the review (about three before this) by the 16 yr old who stayed with his friends and parents after sitting his G.C.S.E.'s. We are pleased that we did. If we had taken note of the previous ones we would have been misled. Give the lad a free holiday!!!!

My husband, Seven yr old daughter and myself booked this holtel under the impression it was located in a central area - it could be described as this -provided you are prepared to use public transport. The hotel is near bus stops, train station and has a taxi rank outside the front door, however ther were never any taxies there and the Hotel charged to phone one.

I found the interior of the Hotel clean enough, however around the pool area and garden there was litter, dirty cups, glasses etc which often were still there the next morning. The sun loungers are chained up until 10.00am every morning which caused Q's to form and on two occations we witnessed arguments and guests "pushing" each other out of the way to get beds.

The garden area was lovely but again each morning until 10.00am the sprinklers were on, the grass was cut and bushes trimmed - surely these chores should be completed prior to 10.00 in the morning?

The pool was seen to be cleaned each morning (didn't open until 10.00am and closed at 18.00hrs)not totally convinced the cleaning was effective. Kids are not allowed to wear T-shirts in the pool as they are apparently "un hygenic"? any more unhygenic than the long style shorts men wear or indeed the bodies in the pool? To cap it all no air toys were allowed either!

The staff working there have very little English, probably due to the fact that 95% of the clientel were Spanish and there has been no need, they appeared very unhelpful but this was probably due to the language barrier.

The dinning room is far too small for the numbers using it and is badly layed out, kids were running all over the place and no formal queing system was in operation - it felt as though it was a free for all at times. The second week of our holiday prices at the bar increased by 30cents accross the board.

The evening entertainment was totally rubbish and in Spanish, my daughter did participate with the kids club and the girls running it were really lovely.

This hotel is in a good position so as not to have the 'hubbub' of the centre of Fuengirola but accessible by a pleasant 30min walk along the promenade or if unable by taxi for 6 Euros. (the hotel did not charge to phone taxi's). It is situated close to the beach and has easy access to the train and buses.
The interior of the hotel was spotlessley clean and very pleasant. The vast majority of holiday makers were Spanish and the staff sometimes came across as abrupt but this could be due to the language barrier and 'Hey' you are in Spain and even trying a few basic Spanish words went down well.
The pool was clean and well manned by a lifeguard daily.
The garden areas are well kept - but if you want a sun lounger you will have to be in the que by 10.
The self service breakfast was quite busy but there was a reasonable choice (you may have to que for the toaster). Evening meal did not seem as busy and there was a good choice of food (we had 2 teenagers with the 'I'm not eating that' attitude but once tasted, full plates).
Airconditioning was a godsend and included (I've travelled and been unlucky enough to have to pay separately for this amenity).
Can not comment on the 'in hotel' entertainment as we did not participate.
After checking the reviews on the internet for this hotel, I dreaded what I was going to find but I would visit this hotel again.

Just got back from this Hotel, we went for 2 weeks. The hotel was clean, the pool was cleaned everyday but the shower area ponged a bit and the tables needed a good clean.
The food was fine and varied, the problem was getting it. The Hotel was full of Spaniards and meal times were a nightmare, on our second week we ate out everyday as my children were being pushed about.
The location was good, the beach just across the road and a nice walk into Fuengirola centre.
As for the entertainment, if you're Spanish it's great.
After our first week we wanted to go home, my two children were bored and with our room being just above the entertainment hall we didn't get any sleep till 2 in the morning.
We would never go back to this Hotel. Glad we're back home.

We went half board to the Fuengirola Park hotel July last year and we would definitely go back!!!

The food has a lot of choice with different themes most nights such as, Italian, Spanish (of course) and English. The food was of a very high standard so if you only like burger and chips don
