Bar prices are a little exspensive, as a regular Benidorm visitor we expected a little cheaper, but it is roughly the same as the UK.
The entertainment is absolutely excellent, and we went at Easter, so I cant imagine what it would be like at summer. They had magic shows, cabaret and for the kids a mini-disco every night ran by the entertainers.
As we went self-catering we did not actually taste the food but from pepole we met out there, its delicious.
Even though the hotel is about a mile from the nearest english bar, it has all the amenities you could think of. It has a spa, a very good gym an indoor swimming pool, be warned you have to wear swimming caps and a jacuuzi. They even have their own doctor!
It also has one of the biggest shopping malls in Europe right next door, it has every thing you can think of, I mean everything.
Overall it is an excellent hotel/apartments but it is a bit cut off, despite I would still go there again.

The Entertainment staff and reps are the best part of this destination, Your Entetainers are Mark, Jenny and Anna and they are all first class and make all familys very welcome.
A hire of car is a must as its a long walk to the beach not good for the shorter legs. although there is a yellow bus every half hour.
Be very careful there is a parrot show on each week and the parrots do bite. We saw it for ourselves whilst here, not a pretty site, but you guys make your own judgments.
Also if you ask to see management they wont see you unless it suits them. " 2 weeks and a holiday that I can only give 6 out of 10"

The cleanliness was excellent, not just the rooms the poolside area, pool, pub and poolside room were cleaned every day.
The food in the restaurant was ok and good value for money, a bit more choice would have been nice.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The entertainment was great if you had kids who could be entertained all day and evening, adult entertainment was scarce.
Our apartment was overlooking the river and Fuengirola and had no sun if I was to go to this complex again I would request a room overlooking the pool area.

The hotel is absolutely spotless and has a really clean feel to it. Rooms were quite basic and the beds for the kids were basically two sofas in the living room. We ended up pushing the two single beds in the bedroom together and my wife and two kids would sleep in there while I slept on one of the sofa beds. The beds may be OK for older kids but I was worried about my youngest falling onto the tiled floor. If we wanted to sit up and have a drink we couldn't do that with the kids sleeping in the living room so they got the bedroom!!
The catering facilities were quite basic but we don't tend to eat in much so weren't too bothered.
There is a breakages deposit payable on arrival and I was a bit concerned that they may take advantage of this when I had to report a faulty toaster and faulty shower two days into the holiday. (The bathroom did have two showers before you ask!!). Both problems were fixed on the same day with no questions or hassle at all.
The reception staff were excellent and most helpful as were the bar staff. Only minor problems we had was with a security guard who insisted one night on pulling the plugs on the air hockey. Pool staff were vigilant and perhaps a bit over strict when it came to inflatables in the pull but I can imagine how a pool full of inflatables would make it difficult to see anyone getting into difficulties.
The location of the hotel is the only drawback, however the walk in to the centre of Fuengirola took us about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. You try anything other than leisurely with a two year old. If you don't fancy walking there is an excellent bus service with a stop right outside the hotel door. Taxis to the centre of Fuengirola were around the 6-7

Our concern lies with the location of the the Hotel which whilst very close to the large Miramar complex actually faces out into a large area of scrubland. This makes it very dark when coming and going in the evening added to which the street lights were not working during our second week and so we found ourselves leaving the light and busy-ness of the Miramar into the dark quietness of the road back to the hotel.
If we go back here I think it will be in a number of years when some further development has taken place at the front of the hotel so that peoples safety is improved.

I loved the pool and it was an advantage not having to dodge any inflatables when in there. The pool was never that busy when we were there.
Staff were always very friendly and informative.
Muggings on the bridge next to the hotel are still happening and one couple were badly beaten when we were there. Your best bet to get into town is by bus or taxi. It is the first time I have ever not felt safe in Spain and I am a frequent traveller. Also watch your bag if you are enjoying evening entertainment by the the pool bar someone got their bag stolen.
The location and crime in the vicinity is what lets this hotel down. I would advise the hotel or tour operators to invest in an extra security guard for the bridge.

The rooms where large, spacious and clean and where seen to by a maid daily. The key to the apartment was a card so it makes just the bit more safe which is very good!
The complex is very nice, modern with great facilities including an indoor pool and has regular links via bus or taxi into the town of Fuengirola.
There is new, massive shopping complex nearby which is great to visit and also a cinema to keep kids entertained.
The Airtours staff where faultless, very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. They where especially great with the kids.
Also the transfer to and from resort was on their very own MyTravel coaches which are very modern and comfortable unlike some operators who use old fasioned rented transport.
Flights with MyTravel Airways were also great!
I well recommend this hotel and indeed Airtours/MyTravel!

Like everyone else, we found the cleanliness of the whole complex to be faultless. The apartments themselves have only been open for a couple of years. The complex is divided into 3 blocks surrounding a good sized but strange design pool. Watch out for the "gestapo" pool monitors who will remove all inflatables and any ball over a certain size (!) depending on what mood they are in. Our apartment slept 5 (although the 5th bed is only suitable for a small child) and was very comfortable. Someone has already mentioned the hairdryers being We were in block 2 and didn't have a pool facing room. Instead our balcony overlooked wasteland and a very disconcerting pile of mud with a cross stuck in the top!
The shopping centre about 5 mins walk away is magnificent if you like shopping. The hypermarket on the ground floor sells everything you could ever want on a self catering holiday and if you have a fussy eater like my son you can get all the home favourites.
We didn't use the Castle Beach restaurant as there were too many good places to be found in Fungirola and are well worth the 25 minute walk or 10 mins by bus or taxi. Check out the Pepper Pot and Sizzlyns for great food.
The drinks in the bar at the complex are a bit pricey (
