just got back after a fortnight here after reading some of the reviews about this hotel on here i was a bit apprehensive all i can say that some reports are misleading i am a picky eater and there was only 1 night when i did'nt fancy anything but still managed to get something to eat, they have italian and mexican nights they also do doner kebabs and curry on certain nights. Breakfast times they do full english, pancakes omelettes, cereal, fresh fruit and various breads.
The pool area was clean they are out at about 6 in the morning washing it down and cleaning the full area the doors to the pool side don't open till 08.30 so get inline with the germans who queue from 07.55 you have to get your own sunbeds and drag them to were you want to be the germans wanted to be were the parasols were situated.
The hotel was spotless so were the rooms maid service every day fresh towels has long as you left them on the bathroom door.
Entertainment was a bit for the oaps or other europeans there is a kids club ran by the hotel but that was between 11 and 12 and 4 and 5 they do a kiddies disco on the night and also pool side entertainment on a day time, we went out most nights either to charlies who have entertainment on every night but children can only stay till midnight when it turns more adult, idols is a few doors down which is another good place but the best one we went to was hole in the wall its a nice and relaxing pub run by charlie and pauline they have happy hours between 6.30 and 11.30(2 pints of san miguel 3 euros,2 local spirits and mixer 4 euros and 2 cocktails 5 euros) also the pool table was 1 euro.
The beach and theme park are close by about a 5 min walk to the beach and 15 to the theme.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again

The Europa Park is a lovely hotel. Its very clean and well looked after. the pools are a decent size, rooms cleaned everyday.

The food was good there was something for everyone. they have coco pops and sugarpuffs for breakfast along with plenty of fruit, pastries and a fry up.

There is a kids menu but you have to tell the maitre d at the door what you want from it, he writes it down then you give the slip to the waitress when she comes for your drinks order.

The hotel is very central and close to everything. Entertainment wise they had Polynesian dancers Spanish dancers and Brazillian dancers.

They also had a singer in on a couple of nights and as there are a lot of more mature visitors to the hotel the were up doing the foxtrot, which was fun to see! all in all a great hotel, and very relaxing.

Hotel was very nice and centrally located. Food was nice most of the time and if you like fish then this hotel is an excellent choice. We never stuck for anything and our children really ate well.

Pool is very nice and you are not allowed to book the sun beds which is a nice pleasant surprise. Lovely to come out in the morning and pick your space at your leisure.

Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels as required. Hotel staff, maids and reception staff very friendly. Restaurant staff and bar staff not so friendly.

H10 Europa Park is a great location.Situated very close to the local shops, bars and restaurants.
Very close to Portaventura and the waterparks.

The hotel was superb, great choice of food in abundance, the pool area is clean and well kept.

Plenty clean towels and the room is cleaned daily.

This is a great family hotel although the entertainment in the evening is for sure geared to the more mature!

Overall a great place to stay.

This hotel was fantastic. The room was cleaned every day. Towels that were put in the bath were replaced. Sheets were changed 3 times a weeks. You could tell from the moment you arrived to when you left that the whole place was clean and tidy.

The pool area was cleaned every morning.

The food was fantastic. There was always something you could eat. It was all well presented. You had theme nights which were good. They also have a kids menu which you have to look for but it is there. The meals are in buffet style but the food was always hot.

The location is perfect. about 25 mins for your transfer. You are just on the outskirts of the town so you don't hear all the town's noise. Though there is a pub opposite the hotel that went on till after 12 o'clock but with your patio door shut you hardly heard it.

The staff were nice and friendly. The bar staff were fantastic. Most of them speaks English so there weren't any communication barriers.

The entertainment is geared more for the older people. They do have a kids club but we didn't really take any notice as we didn't have any kids with us.

We had only booked for a short 4 night stay.We arrived mid morning and were told our room would be ready by 12 and it was.The room itself was quite small but very clean. The air conditioning was excellent.

The food in the restaurant was good. Plenty of choice and well presented. The restaurant staff were polite.

This resort is where many of the Spanish holiday themselves.

Not all the staff speak English but you can usually get your point across. Nothing wrong with us Brits making the effort to speak a bit of Spanish.

There were lots of sunbeds by the pool and although there were signs politely asking not to reserve them this still happened. However on a couple of occasions the hotel staff removed the towels!!!

The pool area is quite small but there is room for everyone if people aren't too territorial!

The resort is busy. It is only a short 5 min walk to the beach ( which is very busy). There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Its about time us Brits realised that Spanish do eat a wide variety of food and if we require cornflakes and chips for breakfast go to Butlins!!!

There was no extra charge for orange juice at Breakfast as previously reported. Also bare in mind if you are half board you can swop your evening meal for lunch if you want to eat out in the evening.

All in all .. a nice clean hotel .. probably the equivalent of our travel lodges at home in standard.

The hotel is very nice and clean in a very good location in the middle of Salou only 5 minutes walk to the beach and sea front.

Plenty of shops supermarkets and bars around you we found a nice friendly little bar just around the corner called the Rose & Crown which was a nice family friendly little bar and the staff was real happy and couldnt do enough for you.

Back at the hotel the bar was very clean and the staff were also very nice.

The evening entertainment was quiet good but was a bit for all and not all English but nice to sit by the pool and relax, the pool area was very nice and clean but can get busy but we always found a space the staff again came round to see if ever needed drinks or snacks etc.

The food in the hotel was good and the staff always there for your needs. The meals were good and there was always something you could eat to make a nice meal. When we were there for the two weeks there was always a lot of choice and plenty of fruits and sweets for afters.

The rooms weren't really that small we had 3 of us in ours and we managed ok. We also had a fridge for 18 euros a week which came in very handy for a drink before you went to bed and woke in the morning.

We have no complaints about this hotel its a nice place to stay with friendly staff.

We arrived at the hotel about 4pm after a bus ride from the airport took about 25 mins. First impressions of hotel were it was very clean and well presented.

Great central location, beach five minute walk away.

Pool area was very clean and pool cleaned daily unfortunately there are no inflatables allowed in the large area of the pool.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms cleaned daily with clean towels. We had a room just off the lifts so it was a corner room and the balcony was very small approx 6ft across.

The hotel food was very poor especially if you have kids for example there was fried pepperoni sausage for breakfast or fried frankfurters a lot of fish and squid and twice we had burgers for breakfast. They also have themed nights we had French German Mexican Italian but no English and there idea of English food was chips and new potatoes sometimes served together.

Entertainment in the hotel was ok but seemed to be aimed at older people but we didn

My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel after a long over night journey to find that our room would not be available for another 3 hours. There was a room set aside, however this was full already with suitcases etc. We decided to take a look around Salou to pass the time. The hotel had an excellent position only 5 minutes walk form the beach - very central.

After killing 3 hours we were then allowed into our room. It was very very tiny. The balcony over looked flats across the road - not really the best view you would expect.

Later in the evening we ventured to the restaurant. the staff weren't at all friendly and insisted in talking to us in Spanish.. the food was awful.. There was hardly any choice, unless you like Rabbit.. the dishes that i could just about fancy were cold and bland.. Even the desserts were horrible.
After sampling the food, we then went to sit outside to see the entertainment. It was the first and last time we stayed in!!

Breakfast the next morning again was not very appetising. No fruit was available. the show cooking was good with omelets and fried eggs available. Orange juice was available at a cost - which i thought was slightly cheeky..

after eating only two meals in the hotel, we both decided to eat out for the rest of our stay.

the pool area is lovely, however if you want a bed you will have to camp out to bag one (make your way down to the pool at 8am there may be a couple left).

The hotel is very mixed with more spanish and German than English.

I wouldn't return to this hotel

This hotel is located just outside the centre of Salou off a large roundabout. There are no interesting views: either over the pool or facing a concrete block of apartments.

However, the hotel is pleasant enough and the main reception and bar areas of high quality. The pool area was not really large enough for the size of the hotel and there were very few loungers / parasols.

It is a bit of a walk to the beach which probably seemed worse for us because it was exceptionally hot while we were there. Having said that its worth the extra walk to the quieter coves away from the main beach we is extremely crowded.

The room was fine and clean with a balcony overlooking the apartments mentioned earlier.

Air conditionig was excellent.

Food was great: you always get some moaners but so far as we were concerned, there was alway plenty to chose from and if you didn't like one thing you could always try something else. The dining room staff were always pleasant and very hard working.

So far as entertainment was concerned, it was the usual type of hotel fare and if you don't like it then
it's not far to go elsewhere which most of the time we did. That's not a criticism; we just prefer to have a wonder around in the evening rather than hang around the hotel.

It is very convenient for buses and taxis.

On balance, if we were ever to decide to go to Salou again, then we would dfinitely give this hotel some consideration.
