We booked to stay here as a last minute get away because of the weather in the UK.

I took my daughter age 7 and my friends daughter age 15, we all had a an excellent time.

I was very wary after reading some of the reviews but I thought each to their own we'll try it.

Well I was not disappointed, the food was outstanding, 7 different types of chocolate cake for desert!! The kids thought they had died and gone to heaven. You could eat parctically from 8am - midnight.

Bar opens at 10 am to midnight, all inclusive was not that much more than half board and the kids get their own card so just go and get their own drinks.

The hotel was fine and clean and the staff were soemtimes friendly and sometimes not. We met some lovely people, Hi to Suzanne, Derek, Hannah, Daniel and Ryan from Scotland, Natalie misses playing with Hannah.

My mother is due to have a major op to her shoulder, so the family (my Father, Myself, my Wife and our son aged 14 and Daughter 12) decided to take a 8 day break so as she would be relaxed and ready for the surgery.

Everything started very well we boarded an EasyJet flight at Gatwick which took off and landed on time, the hire car ordered at Barcelona airport was ready to go and the drive down to Salou with TomTom delivered us to the Hotel door.

First impression of the Hotel the entrance steps are very badly designed and care is needed especially for any older people wanting to stop at this Hotel. They also layout what I can only describe as a piece of curtain when it rains to stop the entrance from being very slippy, however this crinkles up and is equally dangerous.

Booking in at reception takes ages as they scan everybodies passports, take your photos with an old webcam and printout ID cards. Waste of time!

The rooms, they are basic with a TV and small bathroom which has a hairdryer. The rooms were kept clean. However you are supplied with a single pillow which is as flat as a pancake when we asked for a second pillow we were promised them on three occasions and finaly given an excuse that the hotel was full and they only had one pillow per bed. Now thats economising! so in the end we used blankets. The rooms also smell due to the drainage. Suggest you take a peg.

Corridors and stairs would often smell of sick which was never cleaned properly.

The Dining area, firstly the plus side there were two chefs who were pleasant and would always say hello or crack a joke. The food was bland and the chicken population should be worried as the Hotel served Chicken at every meal and I am sure the Soup consisted of the left over salad.

Now the BAD, TWO Staff decided to have a fight smashing chairs and ending up with one STABBING the other. Police were called and they were arrested and sacked. Out of the remaining staff there was a really nice black lady and spainsh girl, the Head Waiter, Spainish Waiter with a Spot infested Red face and two futher Spainsh Waitresses all seemed to like Drinking to excess, they were constantly hiding behind the flowers at the bar area Drinking Red Wine and Beer. Unless you entered the Dining area when it was first opening you would have a very dirty table cloth, and always check to see if what you are picking up is clean!

Bearing in mind that this is an all inclusive Hotel if you wanted to get a Drink of anything in the dining room you would end up in queue for at least 10 mins as the only person serving was the drunk red faced spotty dirty smelly waiter.

The head waiter and his staff have forgotten the basics of customer service and all they want to do is argue and be offensive. TIME FOR NEW STAFF!

Main Bar was always dirty and never cleaned, the sink was permanantly filled with cups and plastic glases and were never washed properly. The bar surface was never wiped down and was sticky and smelt of sick. The tables were left with empty cups etc on and in the end the guests would move them themselves. The bar staff were constantly rude and did not understand the concept of hygene. The bar and the restaurant also ran out of Brandy, Whisky, White Wine, Kids Cocktails (Kiwi Fruit) and Malibu. Very Very Bad.

Entertainment and Entertainers = CRAP

Pool area was never washed down and tables were left unwiped which caused swarms of wasps to gather round them. Pool showers situated right by several tables, why?

I won't mention what was going on in the Jacuzzi's but I won't be going in them.

The hotel had no Security guard and a fight in the corridors which lasted for two hours broke out (longer than the entertainment) finally the Police arrived and took away the louts. Fight number three an Englishman decides to take a bite out of the neck of a middle aged guest for no apparant reason then pushed and cracked open the head his friend as he tried to stop him. The Police arrived once again and yet more arrests. This time the hotel balconys were full of people watching and cheering the Police.

I went on Holiday to have an enjoyable time and ended up complaining time after time. The hotel manager was never there and reception were living in a dream that they had a wonderful hotel, however they were never there at night. Poor, poor service.

I could keep going on but I think you can get the gist of the Hotel Standards.

However on our last day we had breakfast and were going down to the pool area and to our surprise the pool had been cleaned and the patio hosed down, the charis were in there correct places around the clean tables. The bar are was being swept the smell of sick had gone, the waiters were all happy and saying hello. Why we asked? The answer became apparant over the next two hours there were some Spainish Ladies and Gentleman going around the Hotel sitting and watching what was going on. We went for lunch and for the first time the table was set and the napkins were cloth not help yourself paper ones, the tableclothes were all clean the staff smilled and said hello, they were not drunk! They had White Wine!

We went down to the foyer were there was a gathering of these representatives they were all laughing and joking with what turns out to be the hotel manager so I approched them and told them exactly what I have told you and suprisingly they were not aware of any problems with the Hotel as today unlike every other day the Hotel was being run as a Hotel should be run. No stabbings by staff etc. They listened and took note as the Hotel manager turned and walked away as quickly as possible. I can but hope that they were the senior management of the hotel chain and that they address the major problems of hygene, safety and customer service which is lacking in this Hotel.

DO NOT got to this hotel until such times that it is safe to do so.

Very dissapointed with this hotel, had to eat out every night, food rubbish (I think if we had eaten we would all have been ill). Would not recommend this hotel to any families at all. Reception area excellent then downhill from then on. Rooms clean but very basic, tour operators just did not want to know about any complaints.

Location: Very good, easy access to all local transport, bus stop to Salou just outside Hotel.

Sorry but this spoilt our holiday and would not come back.

when arriving at the hotel we were smacked in the face by a smell of vomit and sewerage.
the room contained 4 single beds all lined up in a row and couldnt have swung a cat.the bathroom was rank it looked clean but smelt nasty.
the resturant had plenty of choice but myself and family always ended up with chips because the food didnt look very appertizing.
the drinks were served in plastic and very old beakers and always que's at the bar.
myself and my family went off the premisis evey night due to the naff entertainment.
to sum the hotel up if you like 18-30 pontins type holidays then it ideal but we wont be going back there ever and would not recomend it to anyone.

The hotel itself is ok, yes the rooms are basic but they were clean, yes the food tends to be the same day in and day out but it kept the kids happy.
The pool area was great for boh adults and children with a chance for everyone to play waterpolo in the afternoon.
The entertainment went on too late for the kids but i can not fault the guy who entertained us all. He is fantastic with both children and adults.

We booked an All Inclusive 7 day stay here despite reading conflicting reviews on the internet. All in all I'd have to side with the more negative views expressed about this hotel! The third & fourth floors smelt strongly of the blocked drains throughout our stay and despite complaints by many guests no action appeared to be taken by the management. They were quick to promise room changes for guests but these consisted of a move to the other side of the corridor on the same floor. Not much help when this was where the smell was coming from!
The standard of food was not the best I have seen, dishes repeated from the lunch menu on the dinner menu etc. After 4 days we decided to eat out as did most of the other residents. The food served its purpose in that it kept you going until you could get to a better place to eat.
All Inclusive guests will also be suprised to find that you are limited to only 2 drinks at the bar each time you go, ok for us as we were a couple but if you had a family or got in company with other guests this meant several trips to the bar to get drinks for your table. Totally unacceptable in our view!
Entertainment was laughable at best, bingo with prises of up to

Hotel is not suitable for couples. Drunken yobs. Children running wild late at night. We don't think it is a suitable hotel.

Not enough security in lounge and pool. Young guys urinating around pool and shouting bad remarks to anyone.

Most of the staff were very unhelpful and rude. Food boring. Entertainment, you got to be kidding.

Salou is very nice, the only people in that
hotel that were friendly were the cleaning ladies.

We will not be returning to Molinos Park.

Stayed at Molinos Park for a short Easter break (Friday to Monday).

Had read the previous reviews and approaching reception, prepared myself for the horrendous smell. Nothing!

The reception area was bright and airy, marble and brass. Check in carried out very quickly and efficiently, given 'credit cards' complete with photos to show we were AI.

Got two rooms on 5th floor, close to jacuzzi area on hotel roof. Food plentiful and a great variety to choose from.

The hotel was good for a short stay; would imagine it gets very busy during the summer months. Nothing to complain about - we liked the hotel, the area it was in (Cap Salou) and especially likd to rooftop jacuzzi and sunbathing area (over 18s only).
