Location
The rooms were cleaned each day we were there and fresh towels were provided when needed. The rooms were of a good size with a large bathroom. The bathroom also has a full sized hair-dryer.
The food was much better than I had expected it to be, during our stay we had a Mexican night and a fish night. There was a grill where you could get fresh cooked meat every night and if you are travelling with children there was a children's part with chips and chicken nuggets etc. Breakfast was not as good but again there was always something to eat. Normally when all inclusive you can get snacks but this hotel does not provide this although when eating three big meals you really do not want to be eating snacks all day and if you did you wouldn't eat the set meals.
The drinks were basic (you get a list on arrival of what is available)and yes you do get soft drinks in paper cups but I'm guessing that this is for children so glasses do not get smashed.
The hotel is right on the beach and there are a few shops around the corner. The Aquopolis water park is literally five minutes from the hotel and the theme park is a short bus journey away (the buses are regular and only cost about 3 Euros for two people a taxi costs around 13 Euros). La Pineda is quite a quiet place but when going all inclusive most of your time there will be spent at the hotel anyway.
The hotel entertainment wasn't the best, karaoke was funny and some of the dancing when they got the audience up to join in but apart from that it was poor.
I would definitely go to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the hotel most of the time and fare enough.. during the day just gimnstics and mini club but night entertainment made it all ok with mini disco, karaoke, flamenco, Brasilian etc... they even had a clown on in September and we had a great time so not to blame on the entertainment maybe not enough staff.
We will go back next year and hopefully have another lovely holiday.

The food was good, however you can only take so many chips in two weeks!
La pineda is a very quiet yet clean resort.
Staff are rude and do not talk to you unless necessary.
Entertainment is boring, no attempt to get the audience involved. Also English is never used.
We would not visit again as the because we found it to be a very unfriendly place.

The hotel is very clean, the bed are changed every day.We can see the sea from our room.
There are 2 swimming pool very clean with a life guard during the day.
The food was good, with plenty of choice at the breakfast and at the evening. The staff were pleasant.
There was an entertainment every night and small entertainment during the day. So, around the swimming pool it's very quiet and pleasant.
Good price value, I will return in this hotel.

We found the food there to be excellent with a large buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu changed quite often although we were only there a week.
As for drinks etc during the day outside these times you were only getting plain crisps and ice cream although you didnt really need much due to the excellent meals.
You could get whatever drinks you wished and although the sign sayed 1 at a time I got as many as I asked for.
the hotel is spottless.
The hotel is right on the beach and close to local supermarkets and shops but La Pineda has little in it to keep you entertained at night although there is an aquapark there for during the day.
The rooms were of a medium size with air con and a black out blind which is essential over there and come with sat. TV good sized bathroom and fridge.
I found the hotel staff to be really friendly and they went out of their way to entertain our daughter at meal times.
The entertainment at night sometimes was a bit tedious with it being based for spaniards sometimes however you must put up with it if your all inclusive if your wanting free drink although sometimes it was ok with flamenco dancers, magic shows etc.
I would stay there again.

This Hotel also offers the option to book any number of nights, and we opted for an 8 night stay.
Our first impressions upon arrival were of a modern, stylish Hotel, conveniently located near the beach and local amenities.
The size, condition and facilities within our standard room were excellent, with a TV, good size bathroom with hairdryer, soaps, shower gel etc, and also a small fridge in the living area. Wardrobe space was adequate.
Food was OK, with plenty of choice, however the restaurant allocated to All Inclusive guests was pretty busy at peak times, and some people had to wait to be allocated a table. We thought it a bit inconvenient that All Inclusive guests only had use of certain Bars - sometimes we felt like 2nd class guests..!!
Wine was available by the bottle at meal times, with bottles of cold water direct from the fridge.
The staff were generally OK, however the level of service at the bar was definitely reduced for All Inclusive guests.
With regard to entertainment, we were very disappointed when compared to other Hotels we have stayed at.

If you go all inclusive it feels as though you are being penalised for doing so - the paying customers get treated far better.
If you are all incl you have to get your own drinks at meal times from a little 'made up' bar in the corner of the restaurant, you can only use one of the restaurants and bars out of the two of each that are there. Most of the staff in the bar are rude and ignorant despite us being very polite and curtious towards them.
The bar drinks are limited so the usual concept of all Incl doesnt exist at this hotel, the cocktails come ready made from a machine and taste nothing like they are supposed to and the majority of the drinks you ask for they say 'not for all inclusive' or 'finished'.
Im sure the customers who are half board or full board etc get treated much better and are much more welcomed by the staff which is very sad when we have paid extra money for the supposed luxury of being all inclusive.

We were quickly attended to by the friendly and efficient staff who presented us with our all inclusive wristbands and credit card style room keys.We took our pick from the four lifts which serviced all floors and arrived at our room.
The rooms were of standard size with twin beds(ours had an extra smaller bed for our daughter)a decent sized bathroom and a average sized balcony. We also had a mini fridge in the room and air conditioning(which is a godsend when holidaying in August).
A Maid service is provided every day with fresh towels and changing of bed linen. Overall the cleaniness of the hotel is really good. As far as the food goes there can be no complaints, a self service buffet is provided with a variety of choice catering for both adults and children.
All nationalities are catered for along with an english corner,we even had roast beef and yorkshire pudding on Sunday. The all inclusive bar which runs from 10am to 11pm offers a variety of alcohol, soft drinks and tea or coffee. For snacks there are only crisps and ice cream available which is ok for the kids but to be honest we were constantly stuffed from our 3 meals thoughout the day.
Location wise the Palas Pineda Hotel is approx 100mtrs from the beach, shops and bars. There is also a waterpark just around the corner.
Overall the majority of the staff are both polite and friendly, speaking adequate English.
The entertainment was good for the kids with a nightly disco which is to say the least repetetive and gets on your nerves after a few nights. The adult entertainment which starts around 10pm is pleasant... but nothing spectacular.
All in all it is safe to say that we are considering a return visit to the Palas Pineda Hotel.

The hotel lacked atmosphere and it may be because of the different countries and cultures. The food was as good as any other we have stayed in.
Give this hotel a try, it is good value for money.

The food was fine and there was always something which the very fussy children with us could choose to eat. In previous years we have spend a fortune on restaurant meals which they refused to eat.
We stayed all inclusive and although hot snacks are not available all day as they were in other a/i the free drinks and ice creams etc for the kids save a fortune.
The tennis courts and gym etc were also free.
This hotel was excellent value for money. We travelled independendly flying to Barcelona with jet2.com and driving to la pineda. We booked the hotel with roomsinspain.com and it was the cheapest holiday i've had in years- much cheaper than my last apartment holiday.
On a final note the staff were pleasent enough and if you were polite to them they were very polite back- a small tip goes a long way in the all inclusive bar to show some appreciation.
The receptionist went out of her way to make lengthy phone calls for us when the hire car broke down on our last day.
The hotel was also clean with the rooms cleaned to a high standard.
