Location
The location of the hotel was a bit away from the beach, town or theme park, although there is a train which takes you to all 3, but don't be suprised if they drive by you!
The hotel food tasted nice, but it was very repetitive and we only stayed for a week! Seafood, chicken or beef, although their many variations of beef was lovely.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the daytime reception staff.
The rooms are nicely decorated but not very spacious and the entertainment was fairly good for kids under 10, kids disco lasts 30mins, not enough entertainment staff! The kids club was great, lasts 2hrs each day.
Biggest downfall of hotel is that it is 65% Spanish, 30% French and 5% British.
I would however visit this hotel again!

We found that the Cleanliness was of high standard, they cleaned our room when ever we asked, clean bedding etc no problem. The hotel was clean and tidy at all times and they had a good team doing this.
Childrens entertainment although it was catered for young children say the age of 6 and upwards all children were involved and the staff did well for what they were allowed to do.
It would be nice to have an adults room only so the adults could have a place to go but if you have a family it is the ideal hotel to go to.
We catered for ourselves from the local supermarket which was fine. But we did go down to the restaurant for breakfast and for an evening meal, and we found that the breakfast you could eat as much as you wanted. Evening we could not complain there was a wide variety and it catered for everyone. We need to remember that they cook with oils and this made the food look greasy although tasty.
We were close to amenities a 10 min walk away from the beach and 15 minute walk to Port aventura but there is a local train which runs every 10 mins 2-3 mins away from the hotel and runs till late and takes you all around salou.
The only complaint I would say we had we never saw our rep. but then we made the most of it and went out on the trips and sat down by the pool
All the staff made you feel welcome and I really wish that we knew about it much earlier when our children were younger.
We have booked to go again next season.

Being in a quiet area of the resort with only a 10 / 15 min walk to the beach made it ideal for us.
The hotel was spotless and all the staff were very helpful.
On the whole, the food was of good quality although sometimes the choice meant that we had some strange conncoctions.
The only negative points were: -
1) The entertainment (day or night) which was dreadful
2) The train line that runs some 50m from one side of the hotel that could be a nuisance at times.
We would certainly recommend the hotel, if not the resort.

The hotel in general is very tidy and the rooms seem to be very clean, the pool is a fare size for the kids and they enjoyed the giant inflatables which are hired once a week.
The walk into town only takes 10mins use the back gate near the pool and you will find your way in no time. The hotel runs a free bus to the beach and the nearby park which is very good.
The food in the hotel was very good plenty of choice, the hotel entertainment is rubbish except the karaoke which was a blast.
The staff at the hotel are friendly any problems and ask for Jesus on the desk.

We had to clear our own table of plates ore they would be left there to pile up on my first day there i asked for a late check out room as on our last day we came out off our room at 12.00am but flight was not till 04.40am next day was told to come back tommorow called back next day same as yesterday and so on all week at the end on Monday night went down road to other hotel booked in for one day staff at other hotel where brilliant and so helpfull brilliant.
Back at our hotel i noticed that on the hotel signs there were no star ratings any where on the building just the name, but best of all was the morning we went to breakfast but could not get in to reasturant it was packed but noticed two coaches parked up outside then noticed reason packed was that people of coach were being unloaded using our hotel to eat then getting back onto coaches and leaving they were not booked into the hotel plus local people where coming into the hotel to use the pool

THE BAD - The location is a bit remote with most things a bit of a walk. The breakfast is fine but evening food can be hit or miss. No shop at hotel so go to local cheap supermaket for everything. Hotel bars shut at midnight and on a Sundays the hotel seems to shut completely.
THE UGLY - The nightly entertainment must have a budget of 3euros, very poor and embarisingly scarey. Beware poolside bar waiters that dont like to give change, if a beer cost 1.80euro they will automatically take 2euro every time.

Wine waiter very poor they need a good Head Waiter to get things organized .
The waiters never came to your table to clear your plates after each course which is what they do in all the 4* Hotels which we have stayed in.
The entertainment very poor just catered for children not Adults Music played in the day very loud so you could not sit around the pool area.

The food was great with a wide choice of salads, soup, pasta, fish, meat, veg and simple but delightful desert in the evening, and a choice of fruit, cereal, continental, and cooked breakfast. we tried almost everything, enjoyed the cuttlefish and the beef casserole (with beef brisket in!!). The food is mainly continental although they generally have chips on offer. If you like continental food I would reccomend the buffet, if you are an egg, chips and cream cake person you will get bored very quickly. PS always check the grill at the top of the dining room as they cook fresh eggs and ham in the morning and steak, salmon, squid etc in the evening.
Hotel location was Ok it was 20 mins walk to the centre of Salou and 10 mins from Port Aventura. The tourist train (Wally Trolly) goes past the front of the hotel and for 2.5 euros each you can see most of the resort. if your aim is Port Aventura this is an excellent hotel as the wally trolly goes right to the gates of the park. If you go into town it is a fair walk and can seem distant until you find the shortcuts via the rear gate near the pool.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, some do speak English and some don't but they all seemed to appreciate my rough use of basic Spanish.
Entertainment. For adults it was very poor with no shows or discos, the hotel bar and pool bar were very good and they had a Flamenco show on Saturday evening that most people missed. The childrens entertainment looked very good with a room in the basement for the kids, a games room and the kids club by the pool which went on until midnight, which could have been a bit loud for families directly above.
All the usual 4star facillities ie. gym, sauna, spa, indoor pool, hair dresser, etc

The hotel runs a courtesy bus to the Theme park which was good most of the time but not always reliable.
We found most of the staff to be friendly in particular the outdoor staff at the pool and the girl greeting guests to the dining area.
The entertainment was basic but enough for the kids.
We would return here again as overall we loved this place!
