Food fantastic loads of choice, nicest hotel manager ever.

Yes rooms small but hotel very clean - army of cleaners every morning cleaning the main entertainment area.

Entertainment during the day good, but a bit Butlins as other people have said at night - but there's nothing wrong in that.

Someone said it was closing for a few months to be refurbished but I thought it was ok !

Did'nt mind the walk to front or to centre of resort but taxi was only 5 euro's from centre if you missed the free shuttle bus.

First time we've gone all inclusive, found it great and brought loads of money back.

Would definitely go to this Hotel again !

This hotel was really nice, you had some nice and you had some miserable staff. Every time you walked up to the bar I could smell a really strong smell. Which I never found out what that was.

The night time entertainment was really good every night you would go downstairs and there would be something on.

Around about 2-3 in the morning you would hear kids shouting and running around in the hotel.

The food was really horrible all there was mostly every night was fish.

I might only be a child but this hotel was very good, nice size.

The hotel was very clean. The only problems with cleaning that I had was the bar it had a really strong smell. The toilets were very cold but nice to visit after being in that really hot sun. Also the pool was a disgrace I complained about it to the manager and he sorted it out straight away.The manager is a really good man.

The food is really good different every night. Make sure you go the opposite end of the hall room because that's were the meat is. There is a snack bar open every day morning to night and that had chips, pizzas and hot dogs its good for a quick something to eat.

I wasn't too happy on the location because it was a 15 minute walk but my mum and sister liked it because it was right next to the town. What I liked though was that it was right near a go kart track.

Hotel staff are great the bar men are so funny they might speak spanish but are funny. The ginger one acts gay he is funny. The restaurant ladys were moody.

The bar outside had the moodiest lady ever in it, the reception lady was so annoying she had a moan over everything and could not speak good English, the security are good but if yuo run around they cut of your band which means you can't get drinks for free. Manager is a really good man and sorts every complaint out.

Entertainment was really good, day time entertainment was on everyday for teens and children and there were adults that joined in every night, which was different every night.

Over all the hotel was very good I would go again the only problem I had was the pool it was really dirty.

We visited villa marina in august we enjoyed it. the people were very friendly the staff was very nice. the lady at the pool bar was very friendly. her daughter does exalent braids. the staff was very fair. the bar staff worked very hard. pablo(the manager) will sort your problems just tell him.

It was a very clean place for the amount of people there. the rooms were very small but after all you only have to sleep in them.

The food was brill. something there for everyone. the pool was nice but a bit small although there was room for everyone. entertament was good. very hot though. you could allways sit in the tv room it was cool in there.
as for the noise at night, everything shut down at 12 and if you couldnt have enough drink by then you got a problem. no noise at all after 1 am.

We found nothing was a problem. but one night it poored down with rain. the restrant got flooded. no complants as they dealed with it very well.

We enjoyed our time and we will visit again !!!
also the reps was great (spud) for a good night out go to the cabarate night done by airtours reps ask spud for details. it was the bestest night out we had, all the family enjoyed it. cya again soon pablo x x x the spencer family x x x x

This hotel claims to be 3 star but honestly it would struggle to be a 2 star.The plus points were the food was okay and the adults only sun terrace and jacuzzi. The minus points were children running riot with the parents not bothering to look after them,the sunbeds by the pools were packed in like sardines.
This is the worst holiday I have ever had and would not recommend this hotel to anybody, Just wish I had read the reports before taking the last minute holiday.

I read quite a lot on this hotel before booking and to be honest it was exactly as i expected. We stayed all inclusive and with 5 kids that was ideal. No pestering for food/drink throughout the holiday. The quality of the food was excellent , we stayed 7 nights and there was something different every night. Don't miss the carvery at the back of the restaurant which serves quality meats/kebabs. Evening meals were always a treat for me ...fill your plate as many times as you like grab a bottle of chilled wine from the counter - all free of course - and fill you face til it can't be filled anymore!! . The rooms were cleaned everyday, the maid service was excellent always very polite. The Hotel staff varied from being stressed but friendly to stressed and not so friendly but we had no reason to complain about anything. The bar staff were permanently on the go. They will only serve 2 drinks at a time so a few journeys to the bar for a round or just get the kids to get their own! This may sound tight but actually it works well as the queues always seemed long but each customer only took 1 minute to serve. They were all very friendly but again stressed.

The entertainment was typical Butlins fayre. 8.00pm quiz ( which we won 1st night - bottle of champers), followed by kids dancing hour then bingo then kids dancing for half an hour then the cabaret. Snake charmer, ninja bloke(poor mans jean claude van dam),Parrott show ,Russian dancers and variuos audience participation games, the british staff, Zoe, Dave , Peter and Geezer all did their best to keep us entertained although you only stayed cos the bar was free.

The beach is not within walking distance if you've got kids. A good 20 minute walk with lilos and such just don't work. Luckily enough the hotel provide a free 9 seater mini bus to take you in the morning and pick you up later at specified times. We used this 4 days and it was a very efficient although basic service. The hotel even give you a free pack lunch as long as you book it the night before.

Those are the good bits. Now the bad. Don't expect to get a sunbed after 10.30. Half the beds were in the shade after 12 so all the best ones had towels on them at 8am whilst their owners had breakfast. The pool is quite small and full of chlorine, you couldn't go under water with your eyes open. The whole pool area is just too small for the hotel and it wasn't a very pleasant place to be hence 4 days out of 7 on the beach.

There is a funny smell in the bar area. Not sure what it was but it was quite strong. The daytime entertainment is poor , they have boards to say what's happening then when the time comes very regularly they say it's not happening today.

The rooms only have a miniscule balcony , hardly enough room to hang out 2 towels.

I suppose that's knit picking but something you should know.

Overall i would recommend this hotel for families with kiddies aged 6-12 who have a budget . Cheap and cheerful.
We won't be going back , not the hotel's fault, we would probably try a 4star hotel next time.

Finally a word of warning if you're flying Ryanair. At Reus airport you WILL be charged

On arrival there was a customer asking to be moved and within 5 minutes we found out why. On going into our room we were hit by the most disgusting smell coming from the bathroom, then in the bedroom the curtains were hanging from the rails wouldn't open or shut, no balcony and when you opened windows in you were in danger of being hit, 'grey' carpet on floor stained with urine and sick and a lot else and covered with dirt and toe nail clippings, cork tiles hanging off wall shelves at side of bed one missing one to hit your head off, drawers too dirty to unpack we lived out of our suitcase, food wasn't bad, staff were ok but stressed out and not friendly, not enough sunbeds for size of hotel so people had to sit in chairs which were then used at night so your clothes were ruined, jacuzzi leaks into entertainment lounge, also although the jacuzzi and solarium were adult only children were in and out all the time on one occasion jacuzzi having to be emptied due to faeces floating in it, they tried with entertainment and children seemed to like it, but all I would say is nothing would make us return and I consider the whole place to be a health hazzard or accident waiting to happen. Think very carefully before going here it was our holiday from hell never again and in future I will read every review available before booking my holdiay.

The apartments were great with their own pool and plenty of space,clean towels every day,the staff and entertainers were brilliant really helpful in all ways,the hotel manager was always around and willing to help with any problem. The food was excellent with loads of choices could not fault it!

We knew nothing of this hotel as the holiday was a very last minute booking.

We found the rooms to be a bit small but reasonably clean.

Food was average.

Good effort with the entertainment but we could never get a seat in bar area so missed most of it. If you want to see the shows I suggest you have dinner as soon as the resturant is open (about 5.00) and then find a table in bar area and don't move all night!

Another small gripe, we wanted to go to get our food together, unfortunately as soon as you leave your table it is cleared for someone else. Did suggest they had a card or something to say table was occupied, not too difficult! We had to sit at a different table 3 times during one evening meal!

Don't hold out any hope of getting a sunbed unless you are one of these people who are up at the crack of dawn to lay your towel out!

All in all not too bad for a cheap and cheerful holiday, about average, just dont expect too much and you wont be disappointed!

Bad location, shouting maids at all hours of the morning, horrible kids left to their own devices (i.e. make havoc and everyones holiday a misery)...
