Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

cap salou is very clean ,with plenty of varied entertainment for all ages. the big plus it has over other resorts is the universal studios theme park and water park, great for kids and adults of all ages, it compares quite well with what florida has to offer.

Salou was noisy, smelly, the cars beep their horns 24/7 large wheelie bins were left on the side of the street that stank. Not a pleasant experience for a holiday, but for Murphys Irish Pub and the Guinness Tavern which does an exceptional steak we would have been on the first plane home i will not be returning to Salou... ever!!!

Salou is a lovely place! all the people are friendly and laid back. There was a large selection of bars and restaurants to eat and drink in.
There were lots of clubs for clubbers to go to and the beaches were clean and enjoyable.
I would definatly come back to vsalou as it is a very nice place.

The resort is spotlessly clean, apart from outside Mcdonalds, but you get that in England, the minority who dont know what a rubbish bin looks like, but overall it is good

Resort was lovely although we did experience a few days of rain! Port Aventura(theme park) and Costa Caribe(theme park's waterpark) were both excellent and a must visit! Excursion to Barcelona is available and is a great tour including stopping off for an hours shopping and visiting the nou camp stadium.

The resort was a little run down. The bus service was quite good the stop located at the end of the road near to the hotel.
La Pineda which is a short bus ride away has a water park ideal for families.
We also enjoyed port aventura, which we visited twice!
Salou town is a short bus ride away,or half an hour walk along the beach if you are feelin energetic! the town i felt was a little scruffy.
The beach was cleaned daily, and I would be happy to visit this hotel again.

The resort is spoiled by poor lighting, graffitti, broken foot paths and smelly bins sitting outside restaurants. Only the nearby Port Aventura makes it worth staying here.

At the beach front the NEDS with spray paint had left their mark and spoiled what would have been a nice beach way.
We had a 5 year old and a baby of eight months. It would have been nice to visit the large theme park, however to make the most of it you would have to visit all day, which did not seem right for such a young one.
The beach was packed and had all the usual beach attractions.
I can not see us going back (been there done that)

There was no entertainment at the apartment but that was mentioned in the cosmos brochure, but you dont really need it as every kind of entertainment is on hand locally. Salou is a great place for a family holiday with clean beaches and loads of diferent restaurants and bars to chose from. We all had a brill holiday and would go back again.

Salou is a great family resort with something for everyone. The beach is large,clean and a great way to spend the day. At night the streets become full of activity with many restaurants and bars. Overall Salou is the ideal holiday destination and I would reccommend it to everyone!
