Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Salau is a great resort if you have kids. There is loads to do. The beaches are clean and safe with lots of water sports available. If you get fed up of getting sand in your nooks and crannies then hand to the water parks there are two to choose from and both are great and don't forget Port Aventura.

Not a lot for the yonger generation but plenty of good places to eat.
Some good entertainment around for every taste, beach was excellemt really clean.
Just a 20 min bus ride into Salou with buses running till late on a night.

A bit cheesy on the entertainment although some good nightclubs.
Loads of bars restaraunts etc had cheaper but its not Turkey.

It was a bit hard to get down to the beach but once on the beach it was fab. Nice secluded spots for your own privacy.
Resort overall was nice,not loads of things to do but enough. Salou center was only short time away too.

If you go to Salou make sure you go into the town and go into Fargis Ice Cream parlour on the corner - expensive but worth every mouth full. And a must for evening entertainment as the hotel nightly things not good, is THE ROVERS RETURN english family pub. Lenny, Marc and their staff are great, my daughter enjoyed everynight there, as did we. So many games for the kids, and adults !!!! cheap drink and great entertainment, we often didnt leave til gone 2am !!!! We didnt bother going to any other pub !!
Port Adventura was good but personally we did it all including the shows in the 3 day ticket ( which included 1 day into Costa Caribe water Park )
If you go to the water park Aqua polis - be warned you have to pay again for the water hoops - so its worth staying away and going to Costa Caribee instead.
If you go with Kids - DONT take them to Barcalona Zoo - this was a very upsetting place, as the animals dont have much room at all, and they all looked thin. Infact the bears looked mad as they walked from side to side.
Over all a great hotel and area.

Salou itself is very dirty. Bins overflowing on the streets and smelling. Rubbish outside every hotel. Promenade very nice and lots of bars and restaurants.

Great resort, lots to see and do.
Lots of shops and bargains if you shop around. Beach a bit busy and costly for beds and umbrellas but lovely and clean.

The resort is midway between Salou and la Pineda on the main bus route and is superb. It has everything that you need for a good holiday and just an hour and a half from Barcelona by coach.

The resort was clean enough, although they dont pick up after their dogs. Resort entertainment to much for 18-30's, didnt go to beach as it was about one and a half miles from the hotel. I would never go back to salou.

beautiful beach but very busy, you have to be there very early to get a space. Clean streets, did'nt see any dropped litter the whole time we were there. Lots of cafes and bars to browse.
