Not a 4star and dated, and some staff members rude , we book this hotel on its ratings , but it about a 3star

Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Salou was the part we went to. I went in early season, so I can't really just the entertainment too well, like Pubs etc. As most were empty.
Still marked it high as it had Port Aventura and more.
Found the Resort to be very clean.
Beach was Superb.
And Yes I would very much like to go to Salou again

Cap Salou is a very small place so there wasnt much for us to do with our daughter but we spent most of the days in different areas such as Salou, La pineda and Terragona which are all a bus ride away for about 1.50e.
The entertainment is average from what we saw of it, the beach is very small but nice as it gives you some privacy it has little coves too.
I wouldnt go to Cap Salou again as it is very small and is nice to visit for your first holiday as it is not as daunting as a big touristy place but I would like to try somewhere bigger next time.

The last time we went to Salou was 4 years ago.
Great place, something for every one from the busy shopper to kids theme park, including you adult and kids.
Markets were cheap but all the lucky lucky men have seem to have gone stall holders and don't seem to want to barter no more but still cheap.

The resort its self is lovely the pavements are a bit slippy but apart from that its great they have bout 5 beaches altogether. It might be a bit difficult for people with pushchairs as there is quite a few hills and steps.

Located in Cap Salou. A few places to eat, but wider selection in Salou itself. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Salou, a beautiful walk along the beach front, and you are there.
Rio Grande is worth a visit great service and great food. Lots of lovely old buildings, and a lot of fountains on the beach front. Too many tacky souvenir shops all selling fake football kits etc.
Overall, it's a nice resort.
Port Aventura is a must. We had 7 day pass(it took about 4 days to go on everything there) would recommend you buy the pass before you go, save a lot of money (found out it would only cost another £12 for a family of four for another 7days! Wish I had known that)

The resort itself was very good. At night it just came alive with bars and restaurants, and shops which were open untill around midnight. I didn't see too many night clubs but everywhere seemed to be busy. It was a good atmosphere. The beach was lovely, soft golden sand that went on for miles. I would definatley go back to Salou.

Salou is an ideal family holiday resort, main streets are clean but back streets not so.
The beach is soft sand which is great for kids. The sea is clear but we did notice a lot of litter floating about(lazy people)
A must to eat at is TAHITI'S the best paella!.

The resort itself was very clean and the beach was excellent. It was an excellent base for those looking to relax in the sun or those wishing to explore the culture. The local transport was excellent - we used the bus service to visit (locally) Cambrils and also further a field to Tarragona - we used the train service to visit Barcelona. There was a good choice of cafe/resturants.
