Location
Entertainment fantastic, hikeal and azmi brilliant, really happy guys .cleanliness of room outstanding. we had a lovely size family room. Weather great!!
Food plenty of selection when you consider how many different nationalities they cater for, if you want bacon and eggs stay in Spain !!and dont spoil Tunisia, cant fault anything about this hotel, would return with out a doubt.
Our two children loved it and would love to return.

The food was ok. Plenty of choice. We went half board. And you can eat as much as you want. We asked for ice cream a couple times when it wasn't on the menu, And we still got it no probs.
The location was awesome. Right next door to a little water park which opens in May-Oct. And only 10 min walk from the shops and beach.
Staff was awesome. Can't do enough for you.
Entertainment was great, something on every night.
Would defo go again. Well we are in October of this year.

Golf Residence is a 3 star hotel.
Just a few steps from the harbour of Port el Kantaoui.
There is a supermarket and an Internetplace (3 Dinars an hour.
There are always taxis in front of the hotel to bring you to Sousse (3 - 3,5 Dinar). You also can take the bus for only 0,65 Dinar.
There is TV on the room (extra) and a minibar (free). Rooms are clean and big.
Hotel food is nice and of good quality. Every day there is a lot of choice, also show cooking.
Nice garden, chairs are free, mattresses 1 Dinar.

Beauty treatments and massages available and the staff in the fitness suite were very polite and
friendly.
I thought that the inside of the hotel was rather shabby, carpets were worn and in some places ripped, the paint work had seen better days, and the toilets were scruffy - although they were kept clean.
The lighting in the hallways and stairwells was appalling, half the lights not working and the rest had very low watt bulbs.
The room itself was large and kept very clean, the houskeeping staff did a great job and were always friendly.
The rooms were a bit tired looking.
If you get a pool/garden view then great, we didn't which in itself wasn't a problem, but being next to the nightclub was, I ended up being kept awake until 3.30 am in the morning, thankfully it was just for one night as the club was then shut for refurbishment.
Most of the staff were great, with the exception of some of the reception staff, who were not particulary helpfull or friendly.
On the Friday and Saturday night we had problems with a party of students running aroung on the flat roof outside our balcony, running up and down the hallways slamming doors, screaming etc we complained to reception and asked them to contact the gruop organiser but after phoning down 3 times I had to go down to reception at 2.00am in the morning at get them to deal with it.
Basically they couldn't care less.
Breakfast choice was very good.
Evening meal was hit and miss, the salads were good, but the quality of the hot food was poor on some nights, and we did struggle to find anything that that we liked, and neither of us are fussy eaters.
For a week this hotel was okay, but
there are better ones to be found a similar price.

The hotel does not cater for the British at all. The food was not even fit for the stray cats. The entertainment was was very poor.
The staff were ok but did`nt want to know about any complaints. The rooms were cleaned at least once in the two week stay of our holiday. We would never return to the Golf Residence or Tunisa for that matter in a million years, hated every minute of our stay.

The rooms were cleaned on a daily maid basis and bedding/towels changed everyother day beds made daily. The food was a good standard and always hot/cold as it should be the only sort of minus point was the lack of choice on the breakfast menu.
The staff were friendly and helpful and did not want a tip every time they helped you.Entertainment was the only let down of the hotel or the lack of it as there was only one night outside perfomers were brought in and the regular one's in the hotel were not a patch on the one's we had in Hamamet last time, but as it was late season I expect they were a little jaded.
Location was spot on it is a flat 10 minutes amble to the marina and the majority of the very good selection of shops and cafes. The transport to Sousse was easy to use and cheap 7 dinar return for 2 adults in a tuk-tuk.
Although there is a disco attatched to the hotel it was not open whilst we were there so we had no problems as to noise this may be due to the fact it was Ramadam, the good thing though being this time of the Muslim calender it made the evenings around the marina very enjoyable and a pleasure to stroll around and as usual in Tunisia feel unthreatened. Yes I would use this hotel again.
It seems to have good wheelchair access although I personally do not use one there are ramps to the front of the hotel and to the pool and outside bar areas.

The hotel was fantastic. You couldn't fault the cleanliness, rooms were cleaned everyday and there was no litter around. We had a great view of the pool and gardens and there was always plenty of sun loungers around the pool.
The food was very nice, a cold buffet and hot buffet with something different to choose from every night. The waiters were excellent and certainly deserved their tips.
The location was great, a short 2-3 minute walk to the marina. The waterpark was opposite and the Golf Brau situated next door served nice food and strong beer!
Entertainment was ok, with a couple of nights of live music, belly dancing, karaoke and the Mister Macho show- not to be missed as very entertaining.
Having seen many other resorts and hotels in Tunisia, I certainly feel that PEK was the nicest resort and the hotel met all our needs.
This hotel and resort is a must and looking forward to going back there for longer in the next couple of years.

The hotel is in a very good location with a short walk to the Marina and the taxi and train station just a 5 min walk away for any trips further afield.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The entertainment left a little to be desired although it is great for kids, nothing bland just a little dated and not my particular taste.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tunisia and the area is also very good and you also felt very safe when wandering out and about at night.
If you do stay in this hotel I would highly recommend taking time out to try the Turkish bath and relaxation massage - you feel like you're floating on air afterwards! Especially perfect after a full day excursion

The hotel itself was lovely and clean not a full ashtray in sight or any rubbish laying about.
The food was aimed at a wide range of client
