Mitos hotel as been the best we had clean rooms an the food is beautiful, most restaurants in Oba are quality food never had a bad meal yet in 4 years also check out the moonlight restaurant bar friendly family great food :)

We enjoyed our holiday but would not return to Alanya as we found it to be too big for us we usually stay in smaller places in turkey did not realise it was so big. The beaches were clean and the sea was lovely and warm, we found the staff in most of the restaurants to be a bit stand offish the resort caters more for the danes, swedes, russians and germans not many brits go there as yet it was a nice enough place but just far too big for us we will not be returning going back to icmeler next year

Alanya we found it to be very clean, Resort had lots of bars enough to please all demands, The beaches were very clean and the sea was warm and yes we will go back to Alanya!

oba is a very busy but small resort, you will find all sorts of resturants with entertainment to please all.
beach is clean and safe lovely to spend the day

Resort clean...beach worst beach Ive ever been to..full of bricks and pebbles...restaraunts to near undergorund becks..stinking of drains.

The resort was dirty and was poorly maintained there were litter everywhere.Out side the hotel was nothing but smelly cows and half built buildings.The beach was not thats great it was all stoney and dirty with fag butts and litter everywhere.There are a few nice beaches but you will need transport to get there(alanya and insickum beach)I will never go back to this part of turkey again

Alanya is a clean resort with lots to do for all ages.
Our only complaint is that Alanya is becoming too cosmopolitan, there is very little that is essentially Turkish left, Turkey is not yet part of the EEC, but the primary currency is the Euro, not the Lira.

I only gave beach standard 3 because It had a lot of shingle, however if you went a bit further on it got better

The resort was excellent everything you needs is there. The hair dresser is good i got my hair cut their and everyone has said since returning home, has said it's the best cut i've had in a long time. Entertainment was enjoyable leaving a smile on your face if your willing to get involed, The beach was cleaned every day and staff at the beach bar were great even when it closed they allowed us to get ice cream, my kids loved the staff they always had time to make them smile and the management never shouted at them, but as i said all the staff work very hard, and its nice to see that the management speaks kindly to the staff. Cant wait to return to club mermaid now im think about everyone.

resort was expensive compared to other parts of turkey, shopkeepers drove you mad as you walked by, my husband refused to buy something and was followed out of the shop and swore at in front of my children. found it very hard to entertain my children as there was only beach, pool and at night they only wanted you to have a meal, couldn't go out just for a drink. would not go back.
