The resort is very clean, resort entertainment, I could not find any all there was is a big market place where you get hounded into buying things.

The beach itsself was ok you need a pair of shoes to walk on it, also it is not sand it is a kind of shingle, water is clear and blue.

Alanya itself it quite a large, spread out resort. There's lots of nightlife down at the Harbour area and more than enough bars and restaurants to please all kinds of people.
The beach is nice, lots of beach bars have their own bit beach where they charge you for the sunbeds but will serve you food & drink all day.
There is a waterpark in the centre of Alanya, it costs about ÂŁ10 to get in but you can stay as long as you like and use the facilities, the food & drink in the waterpark was very cheap.
Dim Cay is a must if you visit Alanya, its set on a mountain and you can sit in a raft or a chalet on the mountain side and have lunch or go for a swim in the dtream which runs through it.
Plenty boat trips,we done an all inlcusive on for 45ytl per couple although the choppy sea spoiled it as we couldn't stop off in half the places we were supposed to as it was too dangerous, this was due to a tornado which hit Antalya about 2 hours away on the day of our trip.

All in all a great resort with plenty to do for everyone

The beech was nice and you could watch the locals fishing. There was one shop and they were building nearby so the dust on the road was quite bad.

Just two minutes on the dolmus for 1 tl is afsallar. there are loads of shops and bars etc. The main highway from antalya to alanya passes along the sea front so the dolmus are very handy and very cheap.

We did alanya and manavgat (side) by dolmus and this was the best part of the holiday. Just look for the bus, they normally flas there lights, you stick you hand out and they stop.

They only stops are at the main towns other than that you can get on anywhere. You the pay when you get off or there is sometimes a conductor.

Alanya is Beautiful, very laid back, miles of beach ( Cleopatra beach!?) was given to cleopatra by mark anthony so I believe... Alanya is full of history and wonderful scenery, we visited the castle, and the caves, and on this note, its less expensive if you actually do these trips through a local taxi firm than a local tour shop, the people are very welcoming although I dont talk Turkish I'm sure there was some form of micky taking as to us being English, however you do expect that.

I loved everything about it, Big Ben is a lovely Restuarant and if you ring this Restuarant from your hotel they will send a taxi to pick you up and take you there, they have good eveing entertainment, although the local bars were on the same par, its just if you fancy a trip out then Big Ben is a good starting point :-).

I hope this has been of some help, all I can say is if your after relaxation then this is a lovely location , if your after night life then this resort also offers a good choice of venues, if your willing to travel 15 mins.

Fantastic Holiday.

The entertainment in the resort was good, but there were a few complaints on how activities that were stated in the brochure were not caried out. The entertainment team were not as good as last year as not many of them spoke much english, nightly shows took place but again not what we expected from last years holiday.

The beach was absaloutly fabulous!!!! it was clean, quiet and a lifeguard was there throughout the day time.

A special hello to the jeweler in the hotel as he was friendly and always spoke. The rest of the staff were very friendly....wel the ones that spoke english anyway.

To conclude the hotel was good and I would return in a few years.

The rooms were cleaned daily to a fantastic standard. Local buses stop at the end of the road (3 mins walk) and you can ride to Alyana for about 40p to haggle for some great bargains.

The supermarket by the bus terminus in Alanya is THE place to buy Turkish Delight (from the deli counter) - it is less than a quarter of the price of the gift shop stuff and 500% better.

Entertainment was just starting for the season when we where there (early April 06) but was OK. You'll have to pay 10 lire returnable deposit for a towel card at the hotel if you want to use their towels.

There were more sunbeds than Germans when we went there, so no problem in choosing your spot by the pool and relaxing in the sun.

Alanya is great.

Take the bus, or a taxi, up to the castle...they veiws are great. Walking down is less hard work!

Shopping is wonderful as long as you know what you want to pay...and stick to it.

The restuarants we visited were really of a high standard and the food fantastic. We stuck to smaller Turkish affairs rather than the bigger forgein pulling ones. We would suggest you do the same.

The hotel had its own beach and it was clean etc.

Go and enjoy
