Resort is isolated apart from town of Kadrye about 5 miles away. It is nothing to look at and nowhere to walk to.

The resort of Belek is still a very up and coming resort with a nice selection of shops. The jewellery availiable is the most wonderful I have ever seen and cheap compared to this country as well.
All of the cafes and restaurants are clean and so friendly. It is not a big place and on Saturdays there is a lovely market on with lots of one hundred percent fake clothes avaliable.

Belek has a variety of large resort hotels that you never get to visit, the local towns are touristy with shops & markets to keep you occupied.
Great beach and suitable for a relaxing or exploring holiday whichever you prefer.

Lots of options at the beach you can choose from a selection of water sports or even ride a horse on the beach.

Belek is a purpose built area.
Kadriye the other village is about the same distance.
Both places are having a lot of work done so they are obviously going to be expanding.
The beach is miles long.
A great place to go to unwind and spend time in the sun

Shame about the local towns people dragging you into their shops - it's like running the gauntlet. They do have lovely things but do not give you a minutes peace to browse. I do believe if they left the tourists alone then they would see the financial benefits.

On a beach with very good accomodation, however in November the weather is on the change and we had 50/50 hot/cold days.
Quite isolated with a village called Kadriye about 40 minutes away on foot or 10 minutes in a Dolmus.
If you like a quiet isolated place then this could be ideal !

Resort was very clean and well maintained. There are plenty of bars to visit at night and shops to wander round. During the day there's a market, and shops, dive centre, boat trips, water sports, the usual thing! You will not be short of things to do.
The beach was immaculate with sun loungers, water sports hut and few piers to fish and jump off.
Would definatly visit this resort again for a short relaxing break in the sun. However it is not the place to go if you want an insight on the real turkey culture as it is especially man made for tourists.
