the resort was okay and you were not hassled all the time which was great not much in the way of entertainment but leons restaurant in kemer is superb. The beach needs to be cleaned up alot of trash and several of the guests we talked to got ear infections after visitng the beach.

We found Kemer to be a normal foreign resort, then town was kept clean by the local sweepers and the shop keepers kept there store fronts very clean and tidy.
We did not go to go clubbing or to seek out the local hot spots, but they are there if you look and want them. what we did find after the TC rep Jools had told us about it was Kemer Pide (Chicken George's) near the clock tower, a small resturant that offered great food and great value for money and the staff were very helpfull and were always happy to see us..
we only visited the beach once and that was on a evening on a walk about, as we are not really beach people we can not give much advise on this, but what we did see was clean and family friendly..
We read some dodgy reveiws before we went, and were at the start a bit nervous, but once there it all changed, we said before we are going back to the same room in the same hotel at the same time next year Loved It, and highly recommend it...........

A little disapointed with the resort as it seemed quite expensive for Turkey. No bars just resturants and shops.
Thank god for Chicken Georges.(great food great staff and cheap!

The resort of Goynuk itself is quite a small village surrounded by a dozen or so 4* and 5* all inclusive hotels. Not many bars or restaurants in village but did manage to find one with english football! Each hotel had its own supervised stretch of seafront consequently the beaches were well kept. About 5 mins taxi or 10 mins bus into larger resort of Kemer. Would recommend.

Kemer is lovely - a bustling little town with a busy pleasure harbour. Its geared mostly for shopping though with shop after shop selling designer clothes, bags and footwear - be warned, very little of it is genuine, and it's expensive. The bars and restaurants are expensive too - on average, a meal for two with a couple of beers or wine will cost around £50 sterling. We think this is caused by a) many of the big hotels are all inclusive - meaning less trade for the independents. But we found a little Kebab house where to food is just as good, the service is excellent, and the price is fantastic - less than a quarter of what it is elsewhere. We'd go back again. Kemer has been purposely built as a tourist resort town; all the units are setup as shops, bars & restaurants all shops are broken in to 3 categories; ones that sell the same shoes, handbags, watches, sunglass, towels, t-shirts. Ones that sell food & confectionary & the others are money changers, tour operators or pharmacies.
Prices for goods in all the shops except the supermarkets are marked up as Euros or US Dollars you have to ask them for the price in Turkish Lira. Restaurants will provide a menu with prices in TL but are very expensive as most drinks have to be imported, a small bottle of Sprite will cost 6TL (£3) on average a glass of orange 6TL (£3), a small bottle of water 4TL (£2). An average evening meal for 1 person is 25TL (£13) plus drinks so for 2 people eating out for 1 meal can cost a minimum of 60TL (£30) each night.
The resort is mainly aimed at all the inclusive holiday guests from Germany, The Netherlands and predominantly families from Russia. The beaches have been marked out for use only by the adjacent hotels & you have to arrange with those hotels directly if you want to use their beach facilities. Local tourist shops can arrange shuttle bus services to “beach clubs” away from the main resort these cost around 4TL (£2) per person per day which is fairly reasonable but due to their isolation only the club’s bar/restaurant is available for snacks.
Russian is the primary language for the region all the shops, bars & restaurants all speak fluently but unfortunately don’t speak English very well this in the main part is due to the bulk of the guests visiting from Russia. Music in the bars & restaurants is mainly eastern European as are the TV channels shown in the bars.
The whole marina is out of bounds unless you are going on a day trip where you are escorted to/from the boat, boat trips for the day are around 40TL (£20) each & include a lunchtime mean, due to the expensive nature of the drinks these are additional.
The town has a weekly Market on a Tuesday; most stalls sell the same handbags, shoes, jeans, towels etc... as the main shops in the town - also at the same price, small beach towels are advertised at 15 euros which they’ll convert to 30TL (£15) these can be purchased back in the UK for a lot less.
So if your Russian & have plenty of money you’ll love Kemer!

The resort was much as we had expected and was just fine for us as a mature couple.
The excursions that we took to the cable car and Phasaelis and the boat trip were splendid.
The beach was fine but a bit pebbly in places. Service from the beach bars was great.

The resort itself we found a little expensive but on the whole after holidaying in Turkey over the last 18 years this is by no means the worst place we have stayed! and yes we would return
