Resort cleanliness was good every morning local shop keepers were out brushing the pavements and cleaning up. Resort entertainment was excellent if you wanted a quite bar there were quite bars and if you wanted something more lively then there was that to. Beach standard was clean and tidy it's just that it was a little to small. I would definetly come to Gumbet again and the veiw from the beach was spectacular.

Gumbet is a very livey resort with plenty going on all day and night. There are plenty of shops, bars and places to eat, we much preferred the end where we stayed to the more noisy Bar Street area. We liked the Corner , Atlantis and the Beach Bars, Wednesday with the break dancers was very good. I found the beach a little disapointing, not enough sand, but it was very clean with free sun beds. We also enjoyed our to visits to Bodrum on the local transport system, which was an experince to say the least.

The resort was excellent. The people there were very friendly to us especially to me and my friend.
We enjoyed going down the beach and going in the bars seeing our friends more like brothers to us.
There is different stuff for everyone there and the beach is lovely to you always have someone there to bring you your drinks and the beach front and beach was only about 5 minutes walk at the most!!!!!

The resort of Bodrum is very nice but getting a bit expensive. The shopping centre has some nice cafe bars and plenty of shops. There is a dolmus every 5 mins that takes you to Gumbet which is only 10 mins away.

The resort is about 1.5km from Bodrum town centre, the beach is 300 metres away.
There is one night of entertainment on Fridays which is a Turkish night. Hotel is kept well clean, the resort is ideal if you want to unwind and relax but ideal if you want the nightlife of Bodrum as you can walk along front onto bar street which takes about 10 minutes.
The views from resort are amazing you see Bodrum castle, the bay,and on clear day the island of Kos,also some amazing sunsets.

Cant really comment on the beach because there was'nt one.
It was basically a small strip of sand. However there was a large decking area with ladders which gave easy access to the sea. Not a problem getting a lounger either as you had a large pool area plus the decking at the sea. There was also a range of water activities for those interested.
Entertainment was not our thing, basically though I think it would be great for families with children.
Resort was clean, no problems there.
For the first 4 days I hated this holiday, I think because the hotel was quite big and it took a while to find your way around, however by the end of my stay I really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. However I think 2 weeks of having nothing to do might be too long.
Planning on going next year for a week.

My wife and I stayed in Bodrum, which was pleasantly nice, but had to travel back and forward to Gumbet for a decent beach.
There was plenty of entertainment but more so for the younger clientiel,if you enjoyed shopping there was plenty on offer, if you could handle the constant hassle from the stall and shop owners.
The Resort was nice and clean and a credit to the area.
As for visiting again I don't think I would, it's not as cheap as it use to be, prices have increaced approx 50% since my last visit 5years ago.

The resort very clean, plenty to do loads of bars and restaraunts, you can get a very good three course meal with wine for £20 for two,one drawback you can not walk past any place without getting seriously hassled, which in the end became a nightmare to get from one end of gumbet to the next.

Gumbet is a short taxi ride away, but 15 mins up a steep hill on foot. The drivers have very little regard for pedestrians and I would not recommend walking. The nearest beach is not within walking distance dispite what your agent may tell you. Gumbet is not for the elderly or disabled as the streets are uneven and steep in parts but it is a young persons paradise with plenty of clubs and bars! We would highly recommend a visit to the Chinatown restaurant that does superb Chinese, Turkish, Indian, Mexican, Italian and English food.
Bodrum is about 15 mins on the local Dolmus but is well worth a visit. It is lively and has plenty to see and do. There is a very pretty harbour with plenty of bars and reataurants. You can also visit Kos and Rhodes from here for about £16.
We would definately visit this resort again but not the hotel!!
