The resort is a bit on the small side but very clean & has plenty of bars & restaurants all very cheap.
We mainly went to the X bar, Shakers & Murphys Irish which were all excellent.

Sorry but only limited info on this section, as our hotel was so fab, we did not leave it much. Apart from the great boat trips available. and the market is well worth a visit.

The resort of Bodrum is lovely, although it could do with a little bit of a clean up mainly the street areas. The beach looked very clean and many eating places had their own part of the beach for their patrons only which was nice.
Plenty to do in this resort in the way of entertainment for young and old. The open air disco is a great hit with the young Although plenty of clubs etc never encountered any loutish behaviour.
I would definitely visit Bodrum again and hopefully it will be very soon.

Gumbet was great. The bars, restaurants and clubs were all good fun. Just a note though, the club touts hassle you all the time (like any resort I suppose), but here they remember you - was quite scary they must all have photographic memories, so don't say you will be back later then walk past and not go in!
The beach was great, lots of activities available, look around for the cheapest deal though, those offered in hotels and with holiday companies are much more expensive.
While you are in Gumber you must do a Turkish Bath - is very memorable and costs pennies!
Would recommend trips to Parmukalle (think that's how you spell it) and to the mud baths. If you go to a market keep your hands by your side and watch our for pick pockets - the markets really are an experience. Just remember not to buy the perfume - it is tainted water!! Saying that though you can pick up some great imitation handbags and clothing.
ENJOY!

With the all inclusive package we just ventured into bodrum a couple of times.
There is lots of shopping to do in the markets and haggling with the locals!
There are many bars and restaurants, to be tried offering a range of cuisines.
Look out for the various excursions, Kos is one that is offered by many, that we took advantage of. You need to remember your passport, and is worth getting there early as it gets very busy in the passport control.
The castle at bodrum is beautiful, especially when lit up at night.

Much quieter than I thought.. People around the area very helpful and nice to speak to.
Beach not up to much.
Area kept very clean and a good variety of shops all close together making shopping even more better.

This hotel is also quite a distance from Bodrum town a good 1/2 hour walking even when your fit although you can get to the Marina in about 10 mins. NOT for those people with buggies, wheelchairs or any kind of aversion to walking.
I went to Bodrum 2 years ago and I must say I have seen a dramatic increase in prices this year, Turkey isn't the cheap holiday it once was!!
There is no beach as such in Bodrum you have to go to near by Gumbet where its a bit better!!

The part of Bodrum that this hotel is located at is a very quiet and peaceful part but still very close to the lively town centre for entertainment.
